My vote is for the Tribit Micro 2. Their speakers with their app’s EQ tweaks are the best for my ears. Their price is also a factor (Flow easily wins over Flex.)
I love my Willen 1, bought it on a Black Friday deal which made it at least a reasonable price. I also have an Emberton II and although that sounds bigger for obvious reasons, the form factor makes me use the Willen more often. The Stack function is not something I use very often, but when I do it reminds me why I bought them. Stacking for a party is absolutely amazing! The battery life is also something not to be overlooked. I agree with Danny that the others might be a better bang for your buck, but if you get the Willen on sale you won't regret it!
The Marshall WILLEN II boxes are so fun…I put them on my bike to listen to music while cycling and with the car noises I could hear my music so good. So go for Marshall WILLEN II
The Willen 2 has a better frequency response 75hz to 20,000khz the 1 is 100hz to 20,000 I like the open sound of the Willen I have a Willen II coming in cream 74.00 on EBAY
I think the Willen II got a better bass, it was toned down in terms of clarity but bass is deeper than the first gen. But because the first gen got a pretty big discount, i ended up getting the Willen, like 5 minutes ago. lol
Think i will stick to the first willen, love the sound of the first than the 2nd, of course it improved the bass, but most of us who love the willen bought this for the bass, there are gazillion bass speakers out door, its the clarity, vocal and tiny bit of seperation is what i love of the first one, will w8 for firmware upgrade and go from there
hi, Danny! thanks for the cool reviews and comparisons! little-known (like Tribit at the start of sales) Swedish speaker Sudio F2 - something like Tribit Micro Storm 2 and Willen I / II: the same form factor, similar characteristics, but not new (2023). inexpensive competitor in terms of battery life and sound. try it, you'll like it! it will be a very interesting comparison..
Great sound comparison, but it would be really amazing if you sampled different genres of music. Old school Hip Hop, Metal, Jazz, R&B, Classic Rock, Punk Rock, Classical Music. Some genres sound better when it's Mid Heavy, some sound better with mids scooped, some sound better when it's BASS heavy. Does the speakers distort at max volume, what does the battery life look like when you have it blasting max volume it's entire battery life etc. Just a thought for future videos, I really enjoy your set up, and approach to the review, so it's just some suggestions, I'd really love to see personally.
Hi brother. Need full comparison between willen vs ue wonderboom 4. Or ue 4 full review. In my country ue 4 is 70$, willen is 95$, willen 2 is 140 $. Still confusion between ue4 and willen
Walmart has a speaker very similar called Onn small WiFi speaker but has airplay2 as well as Bluetooth but it’s only $39. It’s really amazing just how close it is to the big names.
No AUX input on both the v1 and v2 is a no-go for me... Pathetic not to include an AUX input for people who prefer to send audio over a cable from a non-Bluetooth-enabled device... Yet another reason to keep using my (still) mint condition UE Roll...
"Willen 1.2". ;) Just received my Marshall Willen 2 hours ago (87USD), "upgrading" from my Tribit Micro 2. The Tribit Micro 2 sounds bassier and more balanced, a bit muffled maybe. In comparison, Willen has weaker bass but clearer sound. The Tribit Micro 2 make me say "wow" 8/10 songs, and the Willen maybe "5/10" in terms of the sound quality for the size of the speaker. BUT! What makes me not use the Tribit Micro often is IT IS UGLY! Hahaha. Never thought I will say this but the weaker performance of Marshall is well compensated by the looks and form factor.
@@DannyPops I’m not trying to take the piss Danny but you’re mistaken The WB2 didn’t come in that colorway and WB3 had ubs, not usb-c Cheers and I love your content
@@jonathancohenb I'm allowed to change my opinion too. The willen isn't a bad speaker on its own. The tribit 2, klipsch, and wonderboom 2 are fantastic.

For me listening through headphones, the Willen 2 sounds the best, better bass than the original. The boom speaker is the worst.
Appreciate your honest reviews.

Hey , brought Bose sound flex after watching your videos , really happy with it .

Sadly, this new batch of Marshalls have been very... Meh. Good thing the past versions are getting the usual discounts.
I've been waiting for your review❤
Thanks for the honest review.
Your videos always hit home.

Emberton and Wonderboom missing high end for my taste the Willen to me is great I prefer it Klipsch is excellent.

Again, as happened with the Emberton II, the version I of Willen sounds way better...
Excellent honest review and opinion
That Tribit Micro 2 sounds the best
we love clairo omg i actually really enjoyed the music this time :)
lol I had to pay for it, just figured it might be worth it.

Your comment is definitly not limpid

So in terms of sound - First willen sounds more clear, but less bass, right?
Yes and his favorite the wonderboom sounded the worst lol
I agree. I think willen 1 is my choice. I am going to listen it in sauna and bass is not important at all, because I don't listen that kind of music.
Hi bro, Can you review Marshall Emberton 3 vs Beats Pill?
Need an updated tufton
Very good review
That Tribit micro2 sounds pretty good, especially at the $49.99 - $59.99 price range.😂

@damien2729 those are good suggestions. I need a better facility to test in, my room mates would kill me.
what about tribit micro 2? thanks for the review!
It's really good too. I just ran out of opinions

any thoughts on the JBL Go 4? I currently have a Go 3 and am looking to upgrade my portable bluetooth speaker
Listening to my marshall 1 ❤

Para mi el mejor sonido fue klipsch austin. Marshall willen ll falta claridad..... Buen video 👍
finally someone real to tell us the truth!
The Willen 2 has a better base and smoother sound The original is a brighter sound and base light and lower volume

The stereo mode for thé willen II? I cant find It. Thanks
@ali-my5lb there's a section in the video that speaks towards this but to summarize for it, it is relying on future updates.
@@DannyPopsso there IS no posibility of stereo mode? 😢😢😢
The Marshall willen 2 would cost 50 euros without the Marshall logo, you only pay for the name 50 euros is a fairer price, but never 120 euros
With sonos headphones on the wonderboom sounded awful. The Marshalls sounded the best the newer one slightly better.
A video about stack mode with 2 willen II? I cant!

Klipsch Austin is miles better!! Sounds amazing for its size.
Marshall provides better overall sound quality. The other speakers are louder but their sound quality ain't great.
Please do Klipsch reviews
any specific one? I’ve checked out the Austin and the Nashville.
Clairoooo!
what's with that LOGO? emberton 3 has this LOGO the black plastics the F?????
In India BBD sale , getting Woburn 2 at 300 $ while 3 is still at 580 .
Should I go for it for 300 ?
Best out there trust me. Go with woburn 2
*WonderBoom 3
this was the Wonderboom 2, though the 3 is basically just a USB-C port instead.

Total fail on Marshall new builds , especially Emberton 3.
but Woburn III is better than II.
The only issue I had with the first generation is that it moved when I played high volume. The second generation has the same problem?
Ill have to checm
