I have a question and no one to ask it to, so if someone would help me out I would really appreciate it. Chelsea Grin is playing near my hometown in the next few months, and I asked my mom if I was aloud to go (I’m 14). Long story short, I’m not aloud to, unless my dad is with me, which will never happen. I hadn’t expected a yes anyways, but what bothers me is that she said only deranged people would enjoy this music, or think of naming a band after a torture maneuver and be proud of it. And to be honest, about the name thing, I to some extent, agree? I love extreme music, yet I can see how it’s not healthy, and I guess my question is, should I stop? I don’t want to, but then again, no one wants to quit what’s not good for them if they love it. I’m not saying CG is a bad thing, but I’m not sure whether it’s for me, and even if it is, whether it should be. I listen to a lot of stuff with graphic lyrics all day and I’m wondering if that’s ok. Sorry to put my stupid problems here, but I just wanted to say this somewhere. I would appreciate a response very much. I sort of think of the metal community as a dysfunctional family :) Well, have a nice day
Still wish I knew why Tom left a band that's 100times better than generic ass CG. Was it so HE'S personally well known better, and or to make just a little more than that Lorna? Either way if you actually think CG is better you don't understand metal at all or just started listening to it within the last 2-3 years.
He told me that he left Lorna because wasnt getting along well with the band members, he doesnt hate them and hasnt fell out with them.. just alot of tension or something like that. He gets along better with the CG boys so he joined them..
This band saved my gains in the gym at no sleep times.
