I've been following you about a year now you and Richie Mack man I was doing your morning walks Inspire the s*** out of me bro I'm going to say go back to Thailand but you do what's proper for you man God bless you man
Hey James. Sorry for the lack of comments. Always smash that thumbs up. And share. Highway 16 is gorgeous. Looks like a painting. Wow. What a camp spot by the river. Those blossom trees are my fave. Shame about the trash. Fixer upper. 555. Nice drone footage. Beautiful footage of the gorgeous wilderness. Great footage. Breakfast looked good. Great to see some of the gang. Daz. Chuck and Pookie. Good times. Good vibes. Good food. Great video.
Epic views, epic food, ... great driving video. like the drone shots. Cali is awesome but like you said EXPENSIVE. see you back in Thailand before you know it. 50% tiny house - 50% Thailand... Video might be a few weeks old but still following your adventure.
Thailand is great but you can always go back - Now is your time to explore while you have the energy in retirement to see-go-do. But layoff Cracker Barrel they are one of the few nice places van lifers can overnight confidently just off the interstate. Keep on Truck’in
Great video, James! The drone shots were superb!!! BEAUTIFUL views! Special shout out to Chuck & Paige and Daz for guest starring in the video!! Be safe out there Bro! P.S., i live on the East Coast and i agree with you, a lot of states frown on van life, you have to go to certain areas to RV/Van camp out. Like in Pennsylvania, MY home state there are a few places to camp out at but even they are seasonal at best. But if you happen to visit Philly, the cheesesteak's on ME!
Choc man I lived in the Bay Area for over 20 years and I never discovered Hwy 16. You really need to get up to Santa Rosa and Sebastopol on Hwy 116. Take it to the coast Springtime in California is glorious. Entirely different from summer when the green is gone. Thanks for the great vlog
East Coast with earthquakes now that shook the hell out of me and only a 4.8 later followed by a 4.0, ketchup on pizza, maybe a bridge might fall, but this time due to rust and all the crazy stuff in NYC.....Thailand 10000000000% is the better choice rofl. Some say if your blinker is like that it means you need blinker fluid lol.
Loving the Van Life videos! (I have Google Maps up on another tab to reference where the heck you are!) Your videos from Thailand were superb, but I'm hooked on the Van Life videos, for great road trip ideas! Thanks for sharing, as always 🙏
You are definitely living the dream, sir! This area is gorgeous! I used to drive the 16 when I was heading back home to Vacaville from college up in Eureka, once in a while just to change things up a bit and ...Clearlake is a knock out. Friends used to go waterski on that lake in the hot summers.
When you were driving around clear lake the double piked mountain on your port side is Mt Konocti a volcano dormant not extinct I’ve driven that route 1 million times
I have already watched no time to be sad, so you are a little bit behind on your videos. If you decided to stay in NCal, head east to Chico, then maybe to Lake Oroville. Then one of the best scenic drives. Hwy 70 from Oroville to Quincy. I sure hope you were smart enough not to go to Thailand during the holidays in April. 😂
Thank you for the beautiful footage! Cali is 😢 paycheck to paycheck baby, but we accept that in order to live here. Can't take it with you, so might as well live in paradise ... right? 😮
The Casino you were at was Cache Creek, since you're in wine country chances are those trees with the bloom are Olive trees. Enjoying all your videos, keep on rolling.
Droan shot are cooolio James bro! Your UA-cam and Thailand Friends are Cooolio & Funny! hahahahahaa James would use the Big Tube to peee in and Chuck would have the thin small Tube to peeee in....lmao According to Taz...
James, You have to go up to Klamath, California and see Redwood Trees. One more place is the Redwood Sky Walk in Eureka, California. You will not be disappointed.
Back in the late 90's when I was a stockbroker, I had a client that lived in his 1964 Pontiac Tempest, with a stock portfolio in the 7 figures. So ya never know peoples situations. But I have been thinking about going back to Thailand if work keeps cutting hours and pay... Very cool for Paige to come see the states, hope she likes it here as much as we do being in Thailand.
Come out to Florida. Van life is HUGE out here. I see way more vans out here than I did when I lived in California and Nevada. The up through Georgia and The Carolinas. Amazing!
Clearlake oaks actually. Stay on hwy 20 west and turn north on 101 and head to Willits, CA. That is where I live. You don't want to be near Clearlake in the hot summer. The alge grows and it stinks.
been watching van life videos for several years and not seen lifers having much issues in the east coast, at least not any more than west coast, florida i know for a fact is cool cause we got rest stops almost everywhere so i dont see how its any less or more easier compared to west coast, with exception of key west in south and in newyork for the north, those are the only areas i know where it's famous for being difficult to van camp, in the west coast its san diego but i do see some places loosening restrictions on van campers
Coming up to 50,000 subs , James. It has been a long journey. The US is a beautiful country, but now there are to many Woke people. I prefer the "old" US. Safe journey James. ❤️🇹🇭❤️🇹🇭❤️🇹🇭
In Thailand, a place to sleep and eat is home. Wake up on a beach today, jungle tomorrow.. I might like higher elevation, a bit cooler, not so many people. 6 million in a small area, to much noise..
Wow, this part of California reminds me so much of my home in New Zealand, but without the herds of sheep. What was the name of that river that ran along the side of the road?
I'm sorry but I stopped following when you left FAH...Time to get back to Thailand or take FAH traveling with you Fam, now that's something I'll watch and promote!! Zoom Back to Thailand and pickup THE FAH...😀
You might be the BBQ dinner back in Thailand, lmfao, have to get some spicy Soul Sauce, check it out in your local store. I like it better than Baby Ray's..not sponsored in any way. I try something new as each week passes, Van life ...
We are going to try and do both. Small land in Oklahoma and our spot in Chaiyaphum Thailand. Maybe 6 months each. Still formulating the plan lol. Just do you. Whatever you feel like doing. If you make your way to Dallas Texas let me know. Treat you to a big Texas steak!!
The WEST coast is the BEST coast. There's no comparison. The blueprint is to buy something on the West Coast and then rent it out and live in the Land of Smiles....
Hi there James. Many people are classist and aporophobic, so if you have money but you aren't showing off of having it, they will classify you as a loser. Enjoy your trip.
Go back and feed the Fah sure she is hungry ha. Get the new Toyota motor home pickup truck and then you can travel around Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam.

Similar sights here on the east coast during the spring! A bit of contrast from the dry, cold, rocky, brown desert landscape.
Cool!
