When later in his life after Artie and the cast were either expelled or left, all that was left was a milk-toast old guy whose jokes barely register because he's scared to offend and has nothing to say. He's worse than Cary Grant or Morton Downey ever where. Chevy was a turd and wasted his career. He couldn't even get a long with his Community cast. But Howard ironically has failed to even match Chevys success. He dreamed of having Chevys career in movie or comedy. If Howard of 1993/94 could only see the Howard of today. It would scare him. If he could see Private Parts (1997) he also wouldn't have been so boastful about the promised movie he would make one day, putting Chevys classics like National Lampoon to shame. Even by Howard's own metrics in 1993/94 - the guy went on to sell out in the worst possible way. After Private parts it was down hill, and without co-hosts would have been unbearable. Thank god for Artie, he kept me listening for years there in the 00s. It's impossible to listen back on on anything from Howard after Artie left.
