You can’t dispute court documents, and the documents are available to the public. With that being said, all these issues that are happening from customer services to product contamination and such, it’s actually Forma that’s mishandling all this I think. But I find it funny how Jaclyn was all “ I, I, I, me, me, me, my, my, my” before, but now there’s an issue, she has no problem ignoring everyone’s complaints and acting like she can’t hear a damn thing! She DOES need to address this matter, she wanted to put herself right in the middle of being a ‘brand owner’ and she IS definitely obligated to answer to these people!!

I love the idea of Morphe being out of Ulta. I spent Ulta points on one of my coworkers and her sister and because I watch a lot of beauty UA-cam I could tell them what products to stay away from and Morphe was one brand I said stay away from. My coworker did get Morphe as a Secret Santa gift at work and I asked her about the quality. The response I got said was it's not that good and I was like told you. I bought one Morphe product that I know of in like 2018 before I knew anything about the brand. Thankfully that's the only product I believe I bought, but I wish I hadn't of purchased it. It is what it is and now I to avoid Morphe and any of the brands that are owned by the same owners.
I always feel mildly crestfallen thinking that minerals are mined, pigment materials get consumed, trees get killed, and plastic gets made just to end up in a Morphe palette that nobody wants 😂

I will say that I did buy a Morphe mascara that I really liked. It was part of the Coca-Cola collab they did. The component was heavy, like it was made out of metal. I really liked how my lashes looked too. I did buy the James Charles and Jaclyn Hill palettes from TJ Maxx but didn't use them. I sold them untouched.

As an eye doctor I can say prostaglandin analogues are by and large very safe. The iris hyperpigmentation side effect is very rare and I've never seen it in 9 years of practice prescribing glaucoma medications which are more concentrated and applied directly to the eye itself. Its most common in green or hazel eyes. That being said I do find it frustrating when companies don't fully disclose that they contain prostaglandin analogues.... though to be honest I've never seen a lash serum that actually works that doesn't contain them.

I read a lot of positive reviews of the Elf serum and it wasn’t expensive so I decided to try it, but as a science type I’m only using it on one side and so far- no difference 😁
Cosnova, if you want to challenge ELF you need to make Catrice more available here (also, stop launching products then discontinuing them about a year later like you did with the Essence Pretty Natural Foundation). If you're after the old ELF audience being in physical stores is more important than you might think. Yes, ELF started out as a $1 brand online only, but people like me really fell in love with that line when it became available at Walmart. Just sayin'.

I really love the split format! I love getting the news every week, but I also notice myself feeling more of a need to overconsume when I’m fully aware of everything launching all the time. I also hate leaving a video unfinished- I know it’s better for the creators analytics when a video is fully watched. This way, I can watch the whole video without constantly having to convince myself of everything I don’t need 😂
Um the person who used Ulta points to buy the JH concealer could have still returned it. Ulta points work like money…just saying, always go in & ask to return a bad, wrong shade, product you had a reaction to or just don’t like. Ulta & Sephora have pretty good return policies & customer service especially if ya just ask politely in my experience.
Thank you for speaking on the pump act. I’m a teacher and when I was pumping at work, I could barely get someone to cover my class to go pump even though we had this all set up before I came back from maternity leave. The person who was given the task of watching my students would get tied up with other work and couldn’t come relieve me. I would literally have to send out a staff wide email begging for someone to come cover my class on their planning period so I could pump. My supply took a huge hit, it made me feel like I was majorly inconveniencing others so I could feed my child. We had to supplement with formula because my supply dropped and this was during the formula shortage! I’m still so mad about that!
I'm so sorry! I'm glad you sent staff wide emails, at the very least I hope it helps the next person who needs this accommodation. It also is so frustrating when female-centric workspaces can be just as bad at supporting their female workers as other workspaces.

Less and less morphe products have been available at my closest ulta, the amount of money they owe, then JC closing and then JC’s lack of customer service… Yikes! If they aren’t going under, someone is going to need to swoop in to save their reputation. And that will be a serious feat.
@@hollysealover Considering that no one wanted to buy Morphe a year ago, I doubt they would get a buyer today. They new owners probably had no idea what damage was already done and how to fix it. Weren't they still going to be using Oxygen Labs for sone products? I seriously thought that's what I heard. I was definitely turned off by that and knew if they ever wanted to win me over that they would have to change course and change labs and make good no great products. If Morphe is no more in a few months, I'm fine with that on the consumer side of things.
Morphe products haven't peaked my interest in years even before the whole bankruptcy they just weren't putting out anything interesting that I had to have and I feel like since makeup as a whole has improved so much since Morphe's day that now there's so many brands out there w product just as good and better for the same price point

I think it’s fair that people blame Jaclyn for the customer service issues. She continues to repeat that she’s the CEO and despite the court documents, she stays 10 toes in that lie. If she’s claiming to be the CEO, she should also claim the responsibility for the brands problems. You can’t claim the title but not the responsibility. If she doesn’t want to be held responsible for the problems with the brand, she should tell us who the real CEO is and come clean about her role.

The separation is so good for me! My ADHD is less treated this year with shortages being what they are, so compulsivity is a problem; I try to avoid reviews unless I am specifically looking for something to buy right now because OMG seeing the pretty things it is SO easy to oops into an impulse purchase...but I don't want to miss what's up in makeup! I would like to add that I had the same experience with the under-eye primer. I didn't return it because I got it from jaclyn cosmetics and I would have had to pay for the return and it just seemed like a hassle that wasn't worth it (I bought it when it was 50% off last year). On the other hand, I just bought a few things that I know I like (liquid lipsticks) from jaclyn cosmetics and everything was delivered yesterday with no issues.

I like having both videos! Also, I agree with the UK's take on the Rimmel ad - it's not that they don't understand what "slay" means, it's that the ad is suggesting that in order to slay you need makeup. In order to have a positive and successful experience, makeup is required, is what the UK says the ad promotes. I agree with that take, but I disagree with their action on it. Because it's the same messaging that every other brand has, that you need their product to be successful in whatever. So it's odd to me that this is the stand they're taking.
I ordered from JH a few weeks ago. I DMd them too. And they gave me the same email. I emailed them, they emailed me back about updates about my order. My order came in like 2-3 days later. And I got a partial refund. And JH saw my story. So I would say I’m thankful I got my products but I’m so sorry for those that are dealing with the drama. But I agree even though that discount is ALLURING, but don’t order from the website.

Companies that are closed/ closing, but still taking money, knowing full well they’re not functioning should be criminally and civilly charged with fraud. Morphe is still putting out “new” products at my Ulta and Jaclyn still has a tiny display area… then I go down to Marshall’s and the same products are there. I’ve never seen anything like this Morphe mess.
Something similar happened in the knitting community a couple years back. There was a yarn subscription company called Knitcrate, which also had a shop that sold yarn from previous months subscription boxes. It was generally well liked and people who knew about it would often spend hundreds of dollars a month on multiple subscriptions and shop orders. Things started to go amiss in 2021 and it went under in a spectacular way. They kept having 70% off and 80% off flash sales up until almost the day they suddenly announced bankruptcy, their website and customer service channels were shut down, and Orders from at least the previous month, and for some people much longer, were not fulfilled. Knitcrate would also contract different pattern designers to create custom designs for each months subscription. For several months before closing multiple pattern designers were never paid for their work.
I was just about to come and tell you about the Grande class action, cause I got the form in the mail this weekend, but you're already on it! They only let you submit documents for two products, not more. So I submitted my two. Will let everyone know what I got and when!

I filled it out cuz it was so quick & was able to prove I’d purchased two or more since 2016 so we’ll see if I get anything. Dust to dust, failed lipstick launch with no support communication to company closure with no support communication. 😂 But seriously, I feel bad for those support agents, if there still are any. As someone who’s worked support many times, we’re always the first to get yelled at and the first to get fired.
I might actually buy the icon box, I’ve never done the add ons, but this looks like it might actually be worth it and we just sold our house so I have a little extra so I won’t feel bad spending a little more.
I hope ELF does not jack up prices further due to scooping up all the so called ‘babes’. I really don’t like paying for some sketchy people to have a carefree life more than I already do.I’ve always appreciated ELF staples like concealer, Eyeshadow quads, brow gel and that they don’t come and go like Essence stuff.
I think it was smart for rare beauty to pair products with the modality. I.e. Massage oils/cream, essential oil based perfumes to wear while you meditate. I often use lavender oil on my skin while meditating. It would be nice to have a skin safe product for that purpose. I am not sure if that is what they are doing, but they should!

Herban Cowboy was a go to for our everyday colognes, as they had scents for males and females. They were an indie brand and got bought by a conglomerate the fourth quarter of ‘23. They changed the formula of the male scents, have not offered the sold out Love scent (my absolute favourite), nor do they respond to Instagram DMs. If you could publish an in-depth video segment, I’d be most appreciative. Just my little opinion… I prefer one video for news & releases(WUIM) Anyone can simply pause/stop video if they want 2 watch segments separately. It’s not like u ever mixed them together. Also 4 your benefit from my perspective, I’m most likely not going 2 come back 4 product releases unless it’s released right after or same time as news. Not purposefully not coming back but because YT isn’t consistent w/notifications or I miss the notification. With one video I get to chill &get it all in one sitting. Also I already cuz of adhd, “life”, & time difference miss Live Chat. I truly miss seeing you Live & the replay isn’t the same 4 me. So that’s another reason I really enjoy WUIM all in 1. No matter what tho, do what’s best 4 u! Lotsa love 💜

As a pumping working mom who works at a big theme park the pumping laws are no joke. They provide me with a small room more like a closet lol and Im given extra time if I use up more than my allotted break time. And if you have never pumped before not pumping regularly will cause a loss of milk production which is extremely important and hard to increase. It takes many sessions of power pumping and may not work for everyone. Super important law in my opinion especially as more moms are working bc of the economy etc.
I was wondering why kosas seemed to be switching from mostly cream products to mostly powder products. The mold issue because of their weak preservatives makes sense. I bought a cream blush/hilighter duo from them a couple years ago and loved it but for like $35 it went off in less than 6 months. And that just wasn’t enough time for me to think it was worth the money.
I bought two of the under eye primers from Morhpe Canada because they were only $5 and I'd really wanted to try it. I had the same cottage cheese seperated product that others did. So disappointing. It's not worth the money to send back.
I am watching further and you mention the max about Morphe and I absolutely agree with you. I purchased blushes, bronzers and even 9 pan eyeshadow pallets for $3 each during their sale. I totally believe that they are going down.
I wanted to get the Luxe eyeshadow pallette from JH but I was afraid of any possible issue towards the order, processing, shipping and else. So, I got it from Ulta and I am glad I did and avoided a potential problem like some people is having from ordering from the JH website.
I like the split format. I watch both so it doesnt really make that much of a difference to me, but I feel like I somehow get more information with the split segments. That said, it is totally up to you! Whatever you prefer doing is whatever I prefer watching. Just dont stop making your videos! ❤
For the Rimmel ad- I think they understood what “Slay” meant-they were just saying the ad made it seem like you could only “slay” in school if you wore makeup. I still think it’s ridiculous they got in trouble for that, BUT I do think they understood the term “slay” properly.
I am so sad because I LOVE Grande-Lash!!!! I have been using it since 2018 so if they change the formula I will be so sad. People think I’m wearing fake lashes but I can’t stand extensions or strip lashes so I started using the serum. It’s so good.

I’ve been thinking the same thing Jen! This has been on my mind the last several weeks. Less and less morphe products have been available at my closest ulta, the amount of money they owe, then JC closing and then JC’s lack of customer service… Yikes! If they aren’t going under, someone is going to need to swoop in to save their reputation. And that will be a serious feat.
@@hollysealover Considering that no one wanted to buy Morphe a year ago, I doubt they would get a buyer today. They new owners probably had no idea what damage was already done and how to fix it. Weren't they still going to be using Oxygen Labs for sone products? I seriously thought that's what I heard. I was definitely turned off by that and knew if they ever wanted to win me over that they would have to change course and change labs and make good no great products. If Morphe is no more in a few months, I'm fine with that on the consumer side of things.
Morphe products haven't peaked my interest in years even before the whole bankruptcy they just weren't putting out anything interesting that I had to have and I feel like since makeup as a whole has improved so much since Morphe's day that now there's so many brands out there w product just as good and better for the same price point

I think it’s fair that people blame Jaclyn for the customer service issues. She continues to repeat that she’s the CEO and despite the court documents, she stays 10 toes in that lie. If she’s claiming to be the CEO, she should also claim the responsibility for the brands problems. You can’t claim the title but not the responsibility.
If she doesn’t want to be held responsible for the problems with the brand, she should tell us who the real CEO is and come clean about her role.

The separation is so good for me! My ADHD is less treated this year with shortages being what they are, so compulsivity is a problem; I try to avoid reviews unless I am specifically looking for something to buy right now because OMG seeing the pretty things it is SO easy to oops into an impulse purchase...but I don't want to miss what's up in makeup! But then I feel bad for your stats if I click out early...

I would like to add that I had the same experience with the under-eye primer. I didn't return it because I got it from jaclyn cosmetics and I would have had to pay for the return and it just seemed like a hassle that wasn't worth it (I bought it when it was 50% off last year).
On the other hand, I just bought a few things that I know I like (liquid lipsticks) from jaclyn cosmetics and everything was delivered yesterday with no issues.

It's -21°F in Montana, which hurts my arthritis & GI disorder a bit but is not as scary as 14 in Texas, tbh. At least we've got winter infrastructure, and I got my car going so woo hoo! I like having both videos! Also, I agree with the UK's take on the Rimmel ad - it's not that they don't understand what "slay" means, it's that the ad is suggesting that in order to slay you need makeup. In order to have a positive and successful experience, makeup is required, is what the UK says the ad promotes. I agree with that take, but I disagree with their action on it. Because it's the same messaging that every other brand has, that you need their product to be successful in whatever. So it's odd to me that this is the stand they're taking.
I ordered from JH a few weeks ago. I DMd them too. And they gave me the same email. I emailed them, they emailed me back about updates about my order. My order came in like 2-3 days later. And I got a partial refund. And JH saw my story. So I would say I’m thankful I got my products but I’m so sorry for those that are dealing with the drama. But I agree even though that discount is ALLURING, but don’t order from the website.

I especially enjoy playing them in the background while I do stuff, especially a task that takes about an hour. For whatever it’s worth - personally, I find myself more likely to add videos around the 25-45 minutes mark (rather than longer than that) so I can finish the video within the task.
Companies that are closed/ closing, but still taking money, knowing full well they’re not functioning should be criminally and civilly charged with fraud. Morphe is still putting out “new” products at my Ulta and Jaclyn still has a tiny display area… then I go down to Marshall’s and the same products are there. I’ve never seen anything like this Morphe mess.
Something similar happened in the knitting community a couple years back. There was a yarn subscription company called Knitcrate, which also had a shop that sold yarn from previous months subscription boxes. It was generally well liked and people who knew about it would often spend hundreds of dollars a month on multiple subscriptions and shop orders. Things started to go amiss in 2021 and it went under in a spectacular way. They kept having 70% off and 80% off flash sales up until almost the day they suddenly announced bankruptcy, their website and customer service channels were shut down, and Orders from at least the previous month, and for some people much longer, were not fulfilled.
Knitcrate would also contract different pattern designers to create custom designs for each months subscription. For several months before closing multiple pattern designers were never paid for their work.

Someone in Australia contacted Morphe about JH cosmetics and was told we aren't stocking anything anymore if you want to buy the brand look elsewhere.
SoOo funny you mention this this week Jen. Last weekend I got this little postcard in the mail regarding the Grande Lash class action. I filled it out cuz it was so quick & was able to prove I’d purchased two or more since 2016 so we’ll see if I get anything. I still use & love it though but I imagine they’ll prob have to change the formula now??🤔

I might actually buy the icon box, I’ve never done the add ons, but this looks like it might actually be worth it and we just sold our house so I have a little extra so I won’t feel bad spending a little more.

I hope ELF does not jack up prices further due to scooping up all the so called ‘babes’. I really don’t like paying for some sketchy people to have a carefree life more than I already do.I’ve always appreciated ELF staples like concealer, Eyeshadow quads, brow gel and that they don’t come and go like Essence stuff.
I think it was smart for rare beauty to pair products with the modality. I.e. Massage oils/cream, essential oil based perfumes to wear while you meditate. I often use lavender oil on my skin while meditating. It would be nice to have a skin safe product for that purpose. I am not sure if that is what they are doing, but they should!

The pump law blows my mind a bit. Here in Sweden most mums stays home (with payment) for a least a year. Kids aren’t even allowed to start Preschool until they have turned one.
Herban Cowboy was a go to for our everyday colognes, as they had scents for males and females.
They were an indie brand and got bought by a conglomerate the fourth quarter of ‘23.
They changed the formula of the male scents, have not offered the sold out Love scent (my absolute favourite), nor do they respond to Instagram DMs.
If you could publish an in-depth video segment, I’d be most appreciative.

Just my little opinion… I prefer one video for news & releases(WUIM) Anyone can simply pause/stop video if they want 2 watch segments separately. It’s not like u ever mixed them together. Also 4 your benefit from my perspective, I’m most likely not going 2 come back 4 product releases unless it’s released right after or same time as news. Not purposefully not coming back but because YT isn’t consistent w/notifications or I miss the notification. With one video I get to chill &get it all in one sitting. Also I already cuz of adhd, “life”, & time difference miss Live Chat. I truly miss seeing you Live & the replay isn’t the same 4 me. So that’s another reason I really enjoy WUIM all in 1. No matter what tho, do what’s best 4 u! Lotsa love 💜

As a pumping working mom who works at a big theme park the pumping laws are no joke. They provide me with a small room more like a closet lol and Im given extra time if I use up more than my allotted break time. And if you have never pumped before not pumping regularly will cause a loss of milk production which is extremely important and hard to increase. It takes many sessions of power pumping and may not work for everyone. Super important law in my opinion especially as more moms are working bc of the economy etc.

I was wondering why kosas seemed to be switching from mostly cream products to mostly powder products. The mold issue because of their weak preservatives makes sense.
I bought a cream blush/hilighter duo from them a couple years ago and loved it but for like $35 it went off in less than 6 months. And that just wasn’t enough time for me to think it was worth the money.
I bought two of the under eye primers from Morhpe Canada because they were only $5 and I'd really wanted to try it. I had the same cottage cheese seperated product that others did. So disappointing. It's not worth the money to send back.
I am watching further and you mention the max about Morphe and I absolutely agree with you. I purchased blushes, bronzers and even 9 pan eyeshadow pallets for $3 each during their sale. I totally believe that they are going down.

Well thank goodness I hv a backup of Grande Brow. That stuff is great, and I’ve seen really good growth.
I wanted to get the Luxe eyeshadow pallette from JH but I was afraid of any possible issue towards the order, processing, shipping and else. So, I got it from Ulta and I am glad I did and avoided a potential problem like some people is having from ordering from the JH website.
I like the split format. I watch both so it doesnt really make that much of a difference to me, but I feel like I somehow get more information with the split segments. That said, it is totally up to you! Whatever you prefer doing is whatever I prefer watching. Just dont stop making your videos! ❤

For the Rimmel ad- I think they understood what “Slay” meant-they were just saying the ad made it seem like you could only “slay” in school if you wore makeup.

I am so sad because I LOVE Grande-Lash!!!! I have been using it since 2018 so if they change the formula I will be so sad. People think I’m wearing fake lashes but I can’t stand extensions or strip lashes so I started using the serum. It’s so good.
