hey bud, minor detail but since you put in so much effort - the Dzus screws along the top of the side fairings are supposed to run parallel to the ground not up and down! excellent work, makes me miss my 748/853
Never a huge fan of yellow but boy...these are still the prettiest bikes ever made. Still looks good after nearly 30 years. I still lust after one now every bit as much as I did when they first hit British shores.
Superlatives wouldn't even start to scratch the surface of how wicked the final result is. My man, you're a true Wizard of Restoration. Bravo. Thank you ever so much for sharing these exceptionally satisfying moments.
They're both channels I enjoy too. The attention to detail is fascinating to watch with everything they do. I'd love to know a mechanic who worked to that standard, though I'd probably not like to pay for it! 😏 James May summed it up once in a Top Gear episode about taking some Alfas to an Alfa meet: is this the best it can possibly be? If not do it again.
I love this so much. The full series was amazing and this is just a nice little taste to remind us how good it was, and to invite new viewers to take a look!
when the 916 first hit the streets i drooled at its beauty and watching this vid shows just how Ducati hit the nail right on the head as i do not think a bike design has bettered the 916 to this day, it does not matter from what angle you look at this bike it is just drop dead sex on wheels, great bike great vid Thankyou.
It's great to see the 916 again - beautiful bike being given the RRC treatment! As a personal preference, I too am happier if there was no accompanying music - the noises the tools and equipment make are a perfect soundtrack! Keep up the fantastic work! 👍
wow. it was already an incredibly beautiful bike. I hope you can make back what you put into it. sometimes it's more a labor of love that a labor of money
That's pretty incredible. I've owned several Ducatis and two of that model (2000 and 2002 748s). I could only dream they looked that amazing. Very nice!
Stunning job. I don’t know how old you are but the old nitro mors paint stripper ( banned years ago) was so strong it bubbled the paint as it left the brush. What you waited an hour for took seconds. It’s one if the few things I really miss
I'm guessing delays on getting the parts for the Honda resto.........No problem, I can watch this Ducati build again, hope you can continue your Honda build soon, but it's worth waiting for: I'll be watching regardless, UA-cam should add another button to press entitled My Favorite Channel so I can press it for RRC!
Brings back fond memories of stripping mine down and giving her a refresh, not to this degree. I love the way the bike comes apart and back together so easily. My favorite machine.
Hi, that’s a fantastic job, but I have a few questions, 1) did you rebuild all of the mechanical components as well - shock, Fork, and engine? 2) did you intend to change the wheelbase by putting the head tube bearing carrier in 180 degrees from its position when you removed it? That’s a neat trick that Ducati did that, shorter wheelbase for more agility and longer for stability……looks you could drastically alter the wheel base and trail. Thanks.
IMO the 916 was a design marvel. Many bikes now try to copy the single-sided swing arm with pipes tucked up neatly under the seat look, and the cat eye headlights. To top it off the desmoquattro v-twin feel and sound. Nothing back in the mid-90s was even close.
Honestly, i love to watch the full playlist rather than compilation video However, this video is a really great compilation of top of the line restoration job 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Don't forget to check out my latest restoration series - ua-cam.com/play/PLLsfVFsOgU7ugvRrcBnhpmkVPfwVMrKVz.html
excellent work

Could you please tell me what it was you used on the exhaust to make it come up like that? Stunning work bravo sir! 👍👏

Thank you ever so much for sharing these exceptionally satisfying moments.
This restoration is hugely under noticed. Amazing job
Thank you :)
Watched every episode as it came out, I see an RRC video... I watch it 🤌
Same here👍🏽
This channel and M539restorations are the two I literally drop everything for grab a drink and a meal and just enjoy each new video.
They're both channels I enjoy too. The attention to detail is fascinating to watch with everything they do.

Really glad you enjoyed it! :)
There's a few mechanics, bikes and cars I like to watch on UA-cam, but this really is next level restoration. Museum quality stuff.
The most beautiful bike ever. Still a dream for me. I have a Monster S4 with the "same" engine in perfect condition.
Still the best looking bike ever made.

The only one that comes close for me is the 1098R in red with the gold wheels. 👌
I always thought these were the best looking Ducatis ever
Hands down the best looking bike ever made. The 916.
คุณคือ "มืออาชีพ" อย่างแท้จริง ฝีมือยอดเยี่ยมมากมาก : จากประเทศไทย 👍👍👍
That brings back some memories. I had a 748 SPS back in 99. A timeless design!
Man the plastics on that bike are just something out of this world, thanks for sharing

Keep up the fantastic work! 👍
Torn between the beauty of the bike and the beauty of the restoration.
The more I watch your videos, the more in awe I am. Skills, patience, dedication. Fantastic.
It's nice to have it organized.
Thank you, I am of the belief the world cannot have to many 916's
I watch every single ad from UA-cam only for this channel. Hope that gives somehing back for such amazing work!
This is amazing.. The passion you have for your work.. and that Ducati is priceless now...
hello ! very good job it's satisfying to watch :) can you give me the reference of the product at 19:20 for cleaning rust on the exhaust ? please :)
Привет из России👋 Смотрю за вашей работой.., это для меня как медитация👍
I love this (and your others). Much better than the news while I drink my morning coffee. Job well done as always. 🤙🏼
Just totally stunning looking bikes, the yellow is strangely the best colour to go for. In an ideal world, we`d All have one. Great video
Watched the full series already and it was amazing so this is just the cherry on top, fantastic attention to detail as always.
Thank you so much :)
I loved to see the full restoration again on this compilation vid, but I thinl the cherry on top would be to see it hitting the road ;)
What a top job, this is great to see…..especially seeing as I am the previous owner of that 916!!
Every series is great. Hard to say which is a favorite. But man this one was definitely a list topper. That bike turned out better than new.
Thank you so much :)
Masterpiece of Ducati...
The 916 !
Sweeeet!.....851 Polan and 916 are my favorite Ducks EVER!
Watched the whole series, and while having to wait for all the episodes it was worth it, seeing it in 20 mins is another bonus 👍
Just a little stocking filler to try out a new format with a little music, not too keen on it though think I'll stick to my ASMR style of videos lol
Glorious. Lots of care and love went into this bike and it shows.
Any chance we could get a list of the goos you use? That stainless cleaner is amazing!
You doing this right! Best amateur restoration ever! Even better as many "professional" workshops :)
This motivates me to work on my own project
wow. it was already an incredibly beautiful bike. I hope you can make back what you put into it. sometimes it's more a labor of love that a labor of money
Thank you, glad you liked it. I probably wont make a penny on it as i have no intention of selling it anytime soon.
Even I watch a full episode, this one still mindblowing for me.
The sexiest, most beautiful bike ever made !!!! But should be in red !
That's pretty incredible. I've owned several Ducatis and two of that model (2000 and 2002 748s). I could only dream they looked that amazing. Very nice!
I loved the original rebuild, but this was definitely a happy recap! 👍🇦🇺

Young man you are the best.
Thank you so much :)
I wonder if anyone has had their plastics stolen off their Ducati you can just undo them no tools and run away 😂 amazing restoration
Yup i would imagine through the years it will have happened to a few unlucky owners.
that Ducati 916 must cost a lot but your skills are priceless :- D
Brilliant I loved the Ducati restorations
Thank you :)
You do great work and high-quality videos. It's one of my favourite channels.
Wow, thank you! :)

Memory of perfection.
Thank you :)

Haha love it!
Enjoyed the original episodes, but this great summary was a nice reminder! Beautiful work!
Amazing job. Looking fwd my retirement, so I can learn and do same.

Not likely that he did a mechanical restoration too. If I'm correct he buys good functioning bikes that are well maintained with records.

Que magnífico trabajo has realizado. Me encanta la forma de trabajar que tienes. Deseando ver la Honda CR terminada. Enhorabuena y gracias,!!!
