This game is incredible, even with a million invisible walls. There's still key branching paths, especially after chapter 1, tons to discover, and some extremely tight combat. I appreciate timing dodges more than "parrying" as a core mechanic, too.
Makes the game hit different I’m loving it as an Action rpg game and as a game that’s just back to basic FUN…not to mention it looks INCREDIBLE ! SEKIRO is still my Favorite game as far as A COMBAT SYSTEM GOES. And BLOODBORNE is my favorite of them all!

Yeah F$&k that B@st@rd 🤨🤨 one of the few bosses I've fought that felt really cheap. There's another in chapter 3 something something lotus and he vomits purple/blue shit all over the screen and after I beat him some of his vomit hit me after he was dead and I was frozen in place so I ended up dying also. Chapter 3 was full of really cheap moments and my least favorite so far. From the level gimmick to the all of a sudden you can fall now because we said so crap was enough to elevate my blood pressure to a boiling point. Oh and just to make that water fucker even harder let's let him regenerate health even though you can't get near him to do anything. Wouldn't that be fun? 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨

That'd be a great channel feature; a macro you can press upon death that plays the Castlevania death tune, then the Altered Beast encouragement! In my case that would wear out whatever i use to trigger it.

I'll add the Entire point of the Cicada Transformations was so you woukd get an Idea of what's ahead, But Mostly if you took the Time & actually listened to the Enemies as you were flying by you would have heard of tips on finding secrets the Wolves specifically wear talking about.

With guanzhi I keep a long distance to let my immobilise to be available again and use it. Then just need one or two combos to finish him and have full flasks. That’s a cheese for the guru

Chapter 1&2 were great but chapter 3 really takes a nosedive. Not to mention PS5 is plagued by stuttering and frame skips, severe input lags and many parts feeling just downright cheap. I'm ok with tough but fair but when the game starts cheap shotting you and the lag is so bad you can't even do anything about it then it's very hard to argue that this is better than a souls game. Now maybe after some more polish and tweaks this could be a great game. Invisible walls, no map and impossible to fall until the game lets you are major problems.
Kids do like whatever's new & shiny at the moment.

Awesome game and ita not a souls game dont know why people say souls ,Only got hard for me at the end of chapter 2 tiger boss but farming sparks and crafting sortes that all the first bosses were a walk in the park

It’s a good game, but it’s no Souls. I think Lies of P was better, but I think it’s bias to the atmosphere and setting. Black Myth im 50% through and I have no clue what the plot is about, I’m ringing a bunch of bells like in DS1? I don’t know 😊
i mean that's as close to a souls game as you can get - not understanding a lick of the story til you read more 😂
That is the Soulslike way. Explain nothing, and confuse the player. Have tons of info in the writings (eg item descriptions in Elden Ring, the bestiary in this game) that still evoke feelings of "HOH?!"

So this takes place after Journey to the West where Wukong helped the Longevity Monk Tang Sanzang retrieve the Buddhist Sutras. Having disputes with the Heavenly Gods, Wukong was challenged and sealed away by a God. Wukong splits his 6 powers to different lands in China. You been playing The Destined One which is one of monkeys from the Mountain where Wukong used to lived. The Destined One is to seek out all 6 of Wukong’s powers to bring him back from containment.
The plot isn't even that convoluted. Pay attention.
This is the most overrated game I've ever played.

I don’t think the Dark Souls death music goes good with this game. It needs something else.
The fighting physics suck.. No other devs can capture Fromsoft's fighting formula.
FromSoft’s formula is slow and cumbersome. It’s the builds that make their games popular.

@@donniedarko4497 There's 3 distinct stances (unlocked at higher levels) and dodges are more important (timing wise, with fewer i-frames) as perfect dodges give bonuses.
@@azalea_k ok so it sounds more precise? That's something I really liked about Sekiro which made it more predictable and rewarding. Less I frames make it more of a rhythm game then which I appreciate.
