It's a bit weird to see various OSTs listing this song as "Ending Theme 2" when it actually plays before the other one... (at least, in a linked game it does).

Well, both halves of the journey have been completed & you overcame many obstacles to reach this point.
To me, it really doesn't matter which game you do 1st, despite that some timelines say Seasons 1st, Ages 2nd.
Anyway...
Link will leave on a sailboat, go train & then get shipwrecked & wind up on Koholint Island for a 3rd quest before going back to Hyrule.
