man I can only remember bits and pieces from the game when I last played it some 15 or so years ago. This made all the emotion I felt from my first playthrough of it come rushing back. it's a really nice feeling

Anyone ever see either version of the Marin ending? I've seen both (original & DX full color) versions & I wait to see what the HD version will be like if I can play through that version & not die once.
@@UshabtiTheLipaugus yes there is, there is an original release on gameboy and then a DX version on gameboy color where it ads a side dungeon and updates the graphics to have all colors.
You don't need to 100% the game to get the Marin ending. You do, however, need to beat the game without dying. Like, reset the game if you die so it doesn't count.

I must've completed this game at least 80 times and STILL didn't get the Marin ending, I don't know the pre-requisits to do that
You have to have every secret on the game
You don't need to 100% the game to get the Marin ending. You do, however, need to beat the game without dying. Like, reset the game if you die so it doesn't count.
Just finish the game with 0 deaths on the file. The save file shows your deaths (most people assume it's rupees but it's how many times you've died)
