Interesting how when John K was involved in the beginning the show was great then fell off after he was fired. Then APC was just bad when he was back to having full control.
despite what happened, thats like having a starwars movie without george lucas or spongebob without steven hillenberg. his unique take on animation is what set it apart, and his passion was almost stanely kubric levels high
While I don't love the fact that everything has gotten the reboot, I kinda think its cool because revisiting ip like ren and stimpy brings me back to my own childhood, and that gives me a better frame of mind when it comes to raising my own step kids.
From when it's first clip was leaked in low quality, it's promising enough to actually be a pretty good reboot. And a far superior successor to the Adult Party Cartoon from 20+ years ago.
I saw the episodes. They weren’t half bad, but the visuals bring it down because it doesn’t have the same energy as the original Ren and Stimpy. The writing is fine, I don’t see what’s so bad about the writing.
I say hell no to ANY Ren & Stimpy reboot. Their creator is sick, the one from 2003 almost completely flopped, and this is not even a question worth asking.

Nah. Even if it's good (and no wokeness to speak of), I'm done with reboots. At least reboots from the West. The last good reboot America got was TMNT 2012. All downhill from there.

Maybe not, but Ren and Stimpy at least deserve a better closure than Adult Party Cartoon. (Even the original show ended on a sour note.)
