I don´t know how to explain this, but watching this scene as a kid made me long for something I never had, and never knew exactly what it was. It was the first time I fell something like it, so intense. Like the bitter but uplifting feeling of falling in love. And I grew up with that feeling. Longing and fighting for something I´m not quite sure what it is, yet.

Hazel Orangestorm I would always watch this movie with my family when I was 4 years old and I would shout whenever the scene with all of the horses running in the water would come on, I'd put my face right up to the Television and listen and tears running down my face cause it's so beautiful. My brothers would tease me and I've always had this special feeling in my heart with this film... no matter how much I watch it, I cry every god damn time ! the meaning this film has on strong spirits and to never give up on your dreams means something that I can't truly explain without making you watch the film 😢 Not to mention it'd gratefulness, but the music to go with it really giving it a strong connection with the viewers, and it's hard drops when something great happened in the movie. also this movie I think really says something about human society as a whole. I've recently learned of the railways and how men were to put to labour and native culture were treated with utter disrespect, this movie really put a turn on that entire aspect. only thing this movies missing is the cruel racism the real world had on people such as making Chinese men, blacks, etc. all work the rails. sorry I wrote so much! I just love this movie so much I'd love to put my opinion somewhere!

I have always been amazed how this movie managed to tell it's story without talking animals and cute animal sidekicks. Most of Spirit's feelings and thoughts are expressed via music and his body. It is done so well, it does not even needs any speech. True animation gem for children and adults alike.

My opinion is that, horses deserve all the good in the world and deserve to be treated nicely.Ever since I was a little girl, I've wanted to have a horse and call him Spirit. Horses are amazing. ❤️
