On one hand, I would stay away from the very obvious commercialized tourist traps. On the other hand, I don't think that diarrhea is necessary because there's lots of good local haunts in NYC serving authentic food. In your situation in Granada, David, I would have let your friend sleep in and then meet him later at a local cafe after visiting Alhambra. 😂 I also spent 3 weeks in Spain with some good friends. They did so much shopping that I didn't care for. In that length of time, there's no way to avoid arguments. 😅
