I’m looking to upgrade from my Velocity 2.0 which I’ve had for about 2 years, I was hoping this would be it but it’s not for me. Velocity seem to be stagnating with their ideas for bags, lots of the big names having roll out systems which incorporate bags. Velocity have probably missed the boat now as guys have already gotten a system which they are now heavily invested in financially, so will continue to add to their existing system rather than face the huge expense of changing to another brand. The once forward facing company have been left behind, a shame as I like to buy British if I can.
wondered if you have to be careful soldering near press fit o rings im still not sold on press fit yet a lot of outlay and think i will only use it if water is in the pipe etc

Hi Mark, The barn is looking great, a nice neat job under that sink too. I’m not a lover of press fit at all or push fit, for me I know push fit has its place but I would rather make a good soldered joint than rely on a rubber ring to seal the joint. I know it’s each too his own etc, but solder for me is tried and tested over decades. The bag looks and sounds great, but I think they call it a “ considered purchase” a shame it’s expensive. A brilliant film as always, take care, I’m looking forward to Sunday, regards, Chris. 👍👍👍
Thanks Chris….. yes I am a solder fan personally. Will use push fit where not seen for speed and ease but will always use solder and copper where visible or were I can👍🏼 They bag is something I’ve been thinking of for a while but now I have I can see exactly what all the fuss is about…. And I really didn’t think I would. I’m pleasantly surprised to be honest 👍🏼👍🏼
Mark, i've noticed you use a lot of Milwaukee tools. What made you choose Milwaukee over other brands such as Dewalt? I'm looking at investing into a system and would like your opinion.
Hey Paul I’ve used Milwaukee stuff for a good few years now and really like how they perform. Batteries are great and they seem to just be the ones for me to be honest. Great deals to be had at Screwfix for them 😉👍🏼
Great video once again unit under Belfast sink looked nice and neat.looks like everyone is gradually going over to press fit fittings cuts a lot of time down on jobs and is cheaper on liability insurance.what do you think about press fit you a fan or not.The bag is nice but can’t justify the price I know they meant to be well made.i think I will stick with me Stanley
Nowt wrong with the Stanley to be honest, I’ve used one for years with zero issues but just fancied giving this a go, and please fly surprised. Pressfit isn’t for me I don’t think… outlay cost is huge
Looked a bit more comfortable with your advert this time round. 👍 The bag looks decent, but definitely not for me personally, couldn't be doing with changing the contents all the time, rather just have an easy to carry bag with the lot in and a separate hot bag. I know the second I didn't take everything the thing I need to get me out of the s### will be sat in the van. Might have to give that knippex plastic cutter a look see though.
@@MJTiffPlumbing Yeah you'll be reading in your sleep before long. Think you were overthinking it though, like you seemed worried people would think you're a sell out or something, tbh we all know how UA-cam works these days, sure no ones going to begrudge you doing better considering the time and effort you put into the content. Always a minority of people to be offended of course, but who cares about them!?
Think I’m gonna order that bag, looks good 👍 I don’t press either, I normally solder, how far away can you solder to press? I’d be scared of melting oring 😂 Nice vid, Belfast looked well tidy👊
Carrier bags are super light mate….😉😉👍🏼 To be honest the jobbing bag that I have is perfect, you know it’s very well made but being the jobbing bag you don’t fill it up with all your tools, just what you need for the job…
@@MJTiffPlumbing I think the problem is once bitten twice shy. Too expensive too risk buying one again, I don’t really have a jobbing bag so don’t really need it

It’s good to see how everyone works and thinks differently. I was seeing the waste pipe coming out the back of the unit for the sink waste
Yep, same end result but different ways of going about it 👍🏼👍🏼

Good video mate. Just a quick one. Why not put the dishwasher waste straight into the bung waste? Why connect it to the sink waste?
Because it won’t have a water trap on it to stop the smells coming back doing it that way👍🏼
@@MJTiffPlumbing thanks for the reply mate as you can tell I’m not a plumber 😂👍🏽 I’ll stick to repairing water services and mains
Hahaaa…. No problem mate, you never know till you ask.👍🏼👍🏼
spot on mark i think after seeing the jobbing bag next on my list keep the good work up
Thanks mate…. I find it a great bag and stops you overloading and the bag weighing a ton
Very handy jobbing bag holds all your essential tools
Indeed mate, and it stops you filling it with crap aswell so never gets too heavy👍🏼👍🏼
Got a smaller velocity bag, think it’s time for an upgrade for me
