Great ideas 👍🏻👍🏻 I am allergic to wool and don’t wear open toed shoes, so anyone in my boat… my favorites are: yoga dress pants, UPF skirts, ankle boots, athletic walking shoes, and UPF collared golf shirts. For summer, I bring a UPF wrap that can triple as a scarf, pashmina, and blanket. I bought your yoga shoes from awhile back and they are a game changer for the hotel! 😊
Love the idea of reversible items! Those 3-in-1 pants!! What a great idea. On a separate note, I wanted to share my experience with one of your ideas from another video. You mentioned washing clothes in a small bag. It gave me an idea to use a waterproof shoe bag and the laundry soap sheets that dissolve. I cut the sheets into 4pcs and stored them in a sandwich bag. This worked so well for underwear, refreshing a shirt and my bathing suit!! ❤️❤️
Yes! I always carry some sort of waterproof bag with me in case I need to wash something and bring it wet or use it as a wash bag😊💕 thank you so much for sharing😊
The laundry soap sheets are a really good idea for traveling light. Thanks for sharing that. I take a small spray bottle of vodka for a fabric refresher. I learned that trick from people who worked on the stage to keep costumes fresh and clean in between actual laundering because it was too risky to take the costumes to be laundered while the show was active. The vodka kills the bacteria that causes odor.
@@Jennifer_Lewis_Beach_Living wow! That is a neat hack and I’ve never heard of it so thank you so much for sharing that with us! I’m definitely gonna give it a try😊
Love all of those reversible clothing pieces. Those black pants are so versatile and the drawstring so practical. My absolute favourite is the shoes. Wow, they are amazing. I have never seen anything like those before. Great video as usual.
Great choices! I love reversible clothing! My favorite water resistant jacket is leopard on one side and a metallic coppery/bronze on the other. It’s dressy enough for fine dining and casual enough for jeans. Can’t wait to shop your pieces! Thanks!
Yay!! I was hoping someone would do a video on convertible clothing. I have been wearing those solely Jane shoes for a few years and I absolutely love them! They’re cute, comfy and truly a game changer
Love this video! I didn't know that reversible swimsuits and tanks were available! Very cute. I have your Kroser bag (recommended by you and purchased through your link!). I bought it for work - I lug reference binders with me to different locations, and this bag was amazing. I've dragged it through rain and snow, and it has never looked dirty. Haven't tried it for travel yet, lol, but I might! I found a boutique a few years ago when on a travel adventure in MI. It's called Haystacks, and they make reversible skirts. They are so cute, and I've built a little collection of them. They are so great for travel too - I can take 3 skirts and have 6 outfits! I love merino wool too, and usually include a couple pieces. Your v-neck and pants look great, and would be so versatile. Thanks for all the ideas!
Thank you so much and truly appreciate you sharing that reversible skirt company! I looked for someone on Amazon, but I didn’t find anything that I really really liked. You sound like me as soon as I find something. I like I buy two or three of them.🥰
I love the variety of outfits you make with just a few pieces of clothing I love it, Thank you, especially because I'm going on a trip very soon, you solve my life Eunice ❤
Thank you! My hair routine is very simple. I wash it 2 times a week. No product. I curl it and it lasts for days 😊 . My hair is mixed straight coarse Asian and wavy fine European . 😊
Love the shoe idea !! Also, I'm so happy you are using this carry- on and not a backpack , which I prefer not to use when traveling ! Will look into this bag. Thx 😊
Love this video! Wish I saw this BEFORE my European tour that I just got back from. Could’ve really used this easy travel capsule wardrobe because we travelled to six different countries by plane, train, boat, and car for 3 weeks. I use a lot of of travel ideas but this one I really would’ve loved to try🤩
Those shoes are a game changer! Thank you so much for sharing this video with your friends and I hope they get some great useful information from it! 😊💕
Thank you so much and I truly appreciate you following my channel and also love the feedback! Those hiking pants are game changer! You get three bottoms out of one way and it really saves you space in your luggage😊
Thank you so much and I’m so happy you’re enjoying my videos and getting some great hacks from them! Truly appreciate you giving me your feedback as well💕😊
I’ve had switch flops for years. I got Lindsay Phillips but got a ton through a sight no longer in business. I got wedge. I even make my own straps from ribbons.
After traveling for decades, it boils down to fabric choices (avoid cotton/linen). One pair of dress shoes and one pair of “casual” shoes, 2-3 pants, 2-3 tops and a cardigan/jacket will do you in addition to underclothes depending on trip duration. Hand wash and dry every day or so.
@@mendyviola yep! You are absolutely correct! When you travel a lot, you eventually learn what you actually wear and what you don’t and it starts to become much easier to pack when you have certain rules to follow😊 thank you so much for sharing with us💕
@@kathobrien3888 personally, I do sometimes travel with cotton and linen or at least blend however, I found that Marina wall works just as well for keeping you cool and because of it natural antimicrobial properties helps reduce the smell of bacteria from sweat and it resist wrinkles so there’s a lot less care involved when traveling😊
Love using the merino shorts under the dress, could also go under a skirt. Extra warmth if needed. I shall look for similar, but not wool, will get more winter use out of my long skirts. Reversible clothing is amazing, I made a reversible wrapover skirt ( A line so ease of room) for a friend to take on holiday which she used with a shirt top which doubled up as a jacket over coloured. camisole tops. I'm going through your earlier videos and pickng up good ideas for public transport travel. E❤
@@TheoryofSimple Only skirts and simple tops, bin bought material. . And not in jersey/knit fabrics, too much movement, slipping.- that never seemed to work for me. Been sewing for about 65 years. Mum made her clothing, and own winter coats, and lots of my clothing when I was young, all on a straight stitch singer treadle sewing machine in a beautiful wooden cabinet. It is now in a sewing machine museum in London. I didn't have room for it in my house. Her paternal grandfather was a gentleman's tailor, came to England from Germany around 1880s. Sewing runs in the family. . E♥️
@@EileenSpeakman my mother used to sew reversible coats for that matched for her and me. I didn’t pick up the great sewing skills that she has. I think it’s really cool that you do so and picked up some great traditions from your family.😊
wow👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💯 I'm always impressed on your clever ideas😊. its always informative and gave us the unlimited strategies on being minimalist 😊 job well done 👍🏻✅
So sorry you can’t get those shoes yet, but hopefully they will start becoming something that sold outside of the US in Canada. I have looked for so long for reversible and convertible clothing for this video. I can’t even tell you how much time I spent researching this.😳
What great wardrobe of reversible items! Love that dress, You chose great colors that go together so well too. How long was your trip?I do have reversible tankini tops and this helps cut down on swimsuits for my cruises. I have seen those shoes advertised, but have wide width and don’t think they come in wides. 😢
You posted this video right as my daughter was trying to decide if the $150 charge for a carry on was worth it. She was looking at a very discount flight, and they also have very strict personal bag sizes. That bag looks bigger than what she's allowed. Did you post the dimensions? My daughter can't afford a new wardrobe though... she'd rather pay the upcharge LOL
I did not post the dimensions however there is a link and a tagged in the video and if you go to that product, it’ll give you other dimensions however, I will let you know, as I said the video that if you overpack it, it will not fit into a personal carry-on sizer so she hast to be cognizant of that😊
Its so easy being a guy... i wear the jeans i wear every day. And only swap out my tshirt. I discovered marino wool shirts recently and they say you can wear them multiple days (i haven't tried yet), bring a dress shirt for formal places, wash if needed and I'm good for days. Things got so much easier now that most offices i go to now wear casual clothes at work (as long as you're not having upper mgmt meetings or visiting clients).
Yeah, guys have it so much easier! Regarding the marina wool, you can wear it for days because it repels odors and wrinkles and washes really well too! Let me know how you like it😊
@TheoryofSimple I actually changed half my wardrobe to merino. Shirts and underwear (even one suit), and now they're telling me...merino is terrible, bamboo is the best. Starting to think it's a sales gimmick.
@@alimfuzzy so bamboo is good because it’s highly renewable source of material and some people don’t like wool because they don’t like how sheep are shared however, Unbound Marino is very diligent about the sustainability of their wall, but I think having a mixture both in your wardrobe is great😊
@@chikondiboone2125 the roller bag is tagged in the video. If you’re watching it on a mobile device, a little link will pop up, but will allow you to go to the bag.. if you’re looking for the weekender tote, it is linked in the video description😊
I’ll tell you so far I love this brand and it’s holding up to the traveling and washing. I used another brand before and I had a similar issue with a pair of sweatpants that wore holes in the inner thighs. I was really surprised because they were expensive so I think how the wool is woven is very important. Unbound Marino stands by their clothing and I’m sure if you contacted them if something was wrong they would work something out with you😊
I appreciate this video but I’m not comfortable with just turning my clothes inside out to wear without washing. Especially if you were sweating. Maybe the bathing suit would work but many times I need two suits because the suit isn’t dry from the day before and putting on a damp suit is uncomfortable.
If you are traveling with a wet bathing suit, there is a great it’s called little carrier that I found that allows you to put it in your suitcase to keep everything else dry😊
Great ideas 👍🏻👍🏻 I’m allergic to wool and don’t wear open toe shoes, so… my favorites are yoga dress pants with pockets, Vionic ankle boots, Skechers Go Walks, and UPF collared golf shirts. I also bought your yoga slippers from awhile back and those are a game changer for the hotel!
I wish folks such as yourself when advocating for the use of a specific bag would tell people that it does not meet the actual defined measurement requirements for a bag with all airlines, or if you are not sure then please at least recommend that they consult their airlines maximum measurements for baggage prior to purchasing any bag. The bag that you talked about in this video that goes under the seat does not meet United airlines requirements for a personal item bag which go under the seat in front of you. Simply the fact that the item can fit under the seat is not good enough. It must meet the measurement requirements. Now I know that people will say oh I've used that bag and I've never had any problems but the airlines are cracking down on the size of both carry-on and personal item bags. I have had many people say that they have been told to put them in a sizer and when they didn't fit they were forced to check them. United's maximum measurements for a personal item are 9 x 10 x 17. According to Walmart's website for this item that you have linked it says that the dimensions are 12 by 7 by 16. This item is going to be 2 in too wide to fit in the sizer. also some airline manufacturers are putting video controller units on the floors underneath the aisle seats for the entertainment systems that are now contained within the seat backs. This further reduces the size under the seat for the seats where these control units are located. This of course is individual plane dependent and can only be found by looking on such websites as seatguru or others that contain detailed seat information for a given aircraft.
I make suggestions based on my experience. I have placed this bag in sizers and it fits if you do not overpack it. Even a bag that meets the size requirements will not fit the sizer if over packed. You need to be your own best advocate and research your airline as to what will fit it not. 😊
@@TheoryofSimple I agree. That's why I asked you to not make general statements and to encourage people to look at their own airline and determine what the measurements are. A lot of viewers are first time travelers and don't understand any of this kind of information. I speak from personal experience because I bought a bag at the recommendation of a UA-camr only to find out once I had bought it and researched what airline I was going to be flying and their baggage requirements that it was 2 inches too big.
@@JD-zt3nr I give people a lot more credit in the sense that I presume that they will do their own research prior to buying any sort of product. I can only recommend based on my usage. 😊
@@lilyandrose8557 yes. That's part of my point. Why can't you people read and understand that. These types of videos are good for people who are learning. Who are out there to gain information and education as well as seasoned travelers. People who are going to be traveling for the first time don't know these kinds of things from birth. They are looking to gain knowledge. They don't know to do that unless they're told that such a thing even exists. My point is don't give out false information. Advise the audience that there are rules and that they should go and check them for themselves to make sure any given bag will fit the size requirements that their airline has. Since this kind of education appears so controversial for several individuals that I won't even get into advising people what to do if they're taking legs of a flight that exist on different carriers. Be kind. Help others.

I’ve had switch flops for years. I got Lindsay Phillips but got a ton through a sight no longer in business. I got wedge. I even make my own straps from ribbons.

They are really amazing and I can’t wait to get the flat ones😊
Who knew shoe parts could swap out? Looking forward to showing the flatter pair when they aren’t backordered.

Thank you! I’m happy to share! 😊
When you travel a lot, you eventually learn what you actually wear and what you don’t and it starts to become much easier to pack when you have certain rules to follow😊 thank you so much for sharing with us💕
If you are going somewhere very hot… only take linen and cotton. Avoid heat trapping styles like big sleeves. Clothing that skims the body.
@@EileenSpeakman how awesome is it that you can sew your own reversible clothing?💕 reversal clothing is one of my favorite travel hacks.😊

What a great idea those shoes are. Pity only available in US & Canada. I love reversible clothes too which are hard to find.
So sorry you can’t get those shoes yet, but hopefully they will start becoming something that sold outside of the US in Canada. I have looked for so long for reversible and convertible clothing for this video. I can’t even tell you how much time I spent researching this.😳
@@TheoryofSimple I can believe it 😯
You could get an American postal address where they send your packages on to you.
Wow. Just wow. We might end up being twins cause i want that whole wardrobe😅

What great wardrobe of reversible items! Love that dress, You chose great colors that go together so well too. How long was your trip?I do have reversible tankini tops and this helps cut down on swimsuits for my cruises. I have seen those shoes advertised, but have wide width and don’t think they come in wides. 😢
@@lauralinkoff3776 so much. My trip was for a week. Those shoes do not come in a wide as far as I know.
Excellent as usual
Thumbs up
Thanks 💕😊
Wonderful tips.
Thanks 😊
@@amoxzi yeah. Most people do. Who washes them after every use?
Yeah, guys have it so much easier! Regarding the marina wool, you can wear it for days because it repels odors and wrinkles and washes really well too! Let me know how you like it😊
@TheoryofSimple I actually changed half my wardrobe to merino. Shirts and underwear (even one suit), and now they're telling me...merino is terrible, bamboo is the best. Starting to think it's a sales gimmick.
@@alimfuzzy so bamboo is good because it’s highly renewable source of material and some people don’t like wool because they don’t like how sheep are shared however, Unbound Marino is very diligent about the sustainability of their wall, but I think having a mixture both in your wardrobe is great😊
Love this clip, could you please add links to the items shown
@@soniachalmers4758 all the links to the product should be in the video description😊
I always wear bike shorts under dresses!!

Please share the link for the carry on.
@@chikondiboone2125 the roller bag is tagged in the video. If you’re watching it on a mobile device, a little link will pop up, but will allow you to go to the bag.. if you’re looking for the weekender tote, it is linked in the video description😊
I can't find that changeable shoe. I clicked the link, but it brought me to a QVC video for nice flip flops that aren't changeable like yours.
Hmmm... I just used the link and it works fine on my end. Are you accessing it from another country?
I love the idea of Merino pants or shorts, but brands of tee shirts I’ve had in the past always get holes really quickly. Is this brand hardwearing?
I’ll tell you so far I love this brand and it’s holding up to the traveling and washing. I used another brand before and I had a similar issue with a pair of sweatpants that wore holes in the inner thighs. I was really surprised because they were expensive so I think how the wool is woven is very important. Unbound Marino stands by their clothing and I’m sure if you contacted them if something was wrong they would work something out with you😊
The solely shoes - are the tops really secure, no risk of pulling the tops off if the shoe gets caught on something? E❤
@@EileenSpeakman they are completely secure and comfortable! Even with my bunion, I find them comfortable! Yesterday I did 10,000 steps in them😊

i always pack a pair of crocs sandals.getting wet, no problem
You can guess those croc sandals are great for that and they’re also very lightweight and I’m wearing mine right now on a trip! 💕😊
I appreciate this video but I’m not comfortable with just turning my clothes inside out to wear without washing. Especially if you were sweating. Maybe the bathing suit would work but many times I need two suits because the suit isn’t dry from the day before and putting on a damp suit is uncomfortable.
@@MamaHubesFCS who says you don’t have to wash it? You can wear it, wash it and hang it to dry and wear the next day in a different different style.😊
what is the name of the bag?

For anyone who sews, reversible bathing suits are pretty basic. I found though i didn't like that it didn't dry overnight
If you are traveling with a wet bathing suit, there is a great it’s called little carrier that I found that allows you to put it in your suitcase to keep everything else dry😊
@TheoryofSimple it was more during the actual trip since we were at the pool every day
@@TracyKMainwaring ahh! Yes! That would be annoying

I’m allergic to wool and don’t wear open toe shoes, so… my favorites are yoga dress pants with pockets, Vionic ankle boots, Skechers Go Walks, and UPF collared golf shirts. I also bought your yoga slippers from awhile back and those are a game changer for the hotel!
@@sassypineapple thanks! The Sketcher Go Walk yoga pants are wonderful! 4 pockets and so comfortable! 😊
Lol that bag won't fit under the seat in front 🤣 😂
You can clearly see that I took it on the plane and put it underneath the seat in front of me. 🙄
1 bag is all I ever take and it goes under the seat.
@@desert_moon good for you!😊
I wish folks such as yourself when advocating for the use of a specific bag would tell people that it does not meet the actual defined measurement requirements for a bag with all airlines, or if you are not sure then please at least recommend that they consult their airlines maximum measurements for baggage prior to purchasing any bag.
@@JD-zt3nrwell that was your mistake
