What a charming video of Ostuni at Christmas! My husband & I lived there for 3 years, and then nearby for another 6. That crocheted Christmas Tree was in our favorite dog-walking park. Hope you make it by that way in other seasons, it is such an interesting area. Really enjoy your videos and adventures!
Thanks for your message Kimberly! It's always lovely to hear from someone who lives / has lived nearby! We're loving this region of Italy so may very well return at another time!
Happy New Year to both of you! Southern Italy looks like the best place to spend the winter, we're very jealous and like your other comments appreciate the amount of work you put into making these videos
Happy Christmas guys ! Your drone footage, music and cinematography (I think that's the correct word) is so good. Very slick I must say. I think I need to buy a Panatoni. Because... I was behind a woman in Lidl this evening and she had one in her basket. I have never had one and was going to ask her what it was like but I'm shy 😞 so didn't. And now you guys are having one, it must be fate ! The constant beeping would do my head in, but it does look magical.
Thanks Ronan! You too! Thank you for the compliment on our videos. Most people don't quite appreciate how much effort it is to make even simple videos like this. Especially when you're on the road full-time filming 'life' makes for unpredictable content. So we''re just happy others can share in the adventure in a small way. Now on the panetone... there's good ones and bad ones. With the majority in the latter category. 😋 If you get one try to get one as fresh as possible. Panetone seems to be one of those things that get re-gifted up until (and sometimes past) it's best-by date. If all else fails dip it in dessert wine like Italians do 😋
@@WeWillNomad Sounds like good advice, now I have to find dessert wine ;-) I've got to ask... how did ye do that drone footage with the two of ye on the bike ? I couldn't see but perhaps Lisa had the controller while also being a passenger on the Radwagon. I love the way you guys seem to love your pastries ! (and a small beer to wash them down). You both seem to have a wonderful zest for life, long may it continue. I hope that you weren't affected by the Radwagon recalls. I'm still researching and the Radwagon 4 is still on my list, recalls happen..... I'm also considering the Radio Flyer cargo bike and a Blix one but it seems to be only available in the US. I flip flop between the Rad 4 and the Radio Flyer. In any case, have a great New Year and go easy on those pastries ! (joking, you guys seem to have a very balanced lifestyle, eat as many as you can !)
Ah yes the mystery footage is from a 360 camera on an 'invisible' stick. On the bike we only took it to 1.2m but it gives a surprisingly wide angle. The stick can go to 3m (which is a bit silly) but it makes for interesting perspectives in locations where flying a drone is impossible. We weren't really affected by the RadWagon recalls as our rear tire blew before it was known (or acknowledged) when we were on the road in Portugal. I was the first (or one of the very first) who experimented switching to moped tires (there's a thread on Reddit RadPowerBike group from around March). Rad did send us a few new tires but we never switched back as we carry a lot of weight, and the stock tires can't be trusted IMO. They've also sent us some 'extras' to compensate for the problem. The tire issue was a bummer but the way we use the bike caused me to think it might not be a factory issue so we made it work for us. For the price there was a LOT of value and there was nothing else on the market at the time that came close in value. We're still happy with our bike. But it's not perfect and we accept that. We're still overdue for a proper review video.. Should release early January.
@@WeWillNomad well I think, if you have space, this is a great option. So often you have to park out of town - whether it's parking availability, security considerations or just a city ordinance - and having a way to get into town quickly just makes sense. I've been thinking an e-scooter would take a lot less space but still work for this purpose. BUT is this even allowed in Europe? I've read a lot of discussions about the possibility of banning them but nothing actually definitive
@@susie9893 I really don't like the e-scooters. Talk to anyone working in the emergency department of hospitals and you will understand why. The Radwagon 4 is still on our Radar, there are so many positive reviews of it and these issues will be resolved soon.
Merry Xmas to the both of you Just to let you know. We fly to tenerife to day for two weeks. The as soon as we get back to malaga, we are starting are motorhome trip back to the UK 🥶
We also South Africans and can only holiday over Christmas and January. We have never done Naples and Puglia and would like you to know if it’s a good time in winter . I thought of landing in Naples cause it’s close to Puglia , Bari Please give us your views
Hi guys! What we do know is that generally speaking January and February are the worst months with a higher chance of rain and really short days. Puglia will probably be a bit better than Napels and over December you will have blue sky days but they are short.. There's no snow and temperatures are low not below freezing. There's plenty of amazing towns around Puglia and if you come from Napels you can also visit Matera. We prefer to fly from Brindisi via Rome and a number of airlines offer this route as codeshare. Perhaps this is an option for you!
Thanks Andrew, and to you! End of March we have to do a roadworthy revision of our vehicle and hopefully soon afterwards we will take a ferry from Bari or Brindisi across the Adriatic. We don't have a set route yet but should be back in Denmark by July.
Merry Christmas from Italy!
Merry Christmas!
Thank you! 🎉
Merry Christmas Kids! Andre, it seems you have an energizer-bunny on your hands...

Additionally, about that gadget. Do you think it helps significantly with the condensation in the van generally?
