1:05:13 I think another clue you had for this code was the letter complaining about Hans that was on the desk (inappropriate jokes about secretary and sergeant being brothers) which gave you a clue that the current secretary was Ben Harding (as he shares a last name with the Sgt.).
Yeah, I left the end of the video frustrated because she just forgot that note existed and ended up brute forcing the code

As someone who tends to do horribly with escape rooms IRL but does a halfway decent job of finishing them in video games, I gotta say thanks for sharing this cuz I had no idea about this series! Got some coffee and it's a cold evening, so this'll be cosy.
The opening of the game with the room spinning and Gab realizing it was her controller made me almost bust out laughing in the break room. I love it 😂😂
This feel way more like a really well made escape room rather that a puzzle game
20:18 as a programmer, I would have been excited to see the AND (green), OR (blue), and NOT(red) logic gates if I was playing the game
I thought that's what they were! We briefly learned about logic gates in Tech Studies back when I was in high school (over a decade ago now, oof). I mistakenly thought the red NOT gates were NOR gates, didn't click until I read your comment that that would mean there were two inputs as opposed to one.
AS an electrical engineer it already made me happy that she got it and the dev. made it so easy to understand with the lights for people who never even heard of logic gates.
But at teh same time the wirework makes me go mads. I would fire the engineer who made this.

My dad is an electrical engineer (even Parkinsons can't steal that from Dad) and I played a game growing up that had a full logic gate puzzle and Dad gave me a whole lesson, because that's what engineers do, lol. The wiring of that puzzle just made me think, "Who the hell wired these gates? They should be fired!" 😂😂😂
actually the blue ones weren't OR gates they were "exclusive OR" aka XOR gates, otherwise they'd work with both inputs too. subtle difference but yeah, one of the only things I remember about my electrical engineering module in uni (apart from laughing at the name of a JK Flip-Flop)
I'm two minutes in and hearing the accent of the guy I NEEDED to check if this game studio is Finnish - and it is! I knew it! :D First observation duty and now this, I'm so proud of our indie devs

Kudos for solving that wire puzzle at 20:03, I would have NEVER comprehended how to go about that and was still confused as she worked her way through it. My brain can't handle that kind of complex thinking.
i think this game was a lot heavier in text clues than most of the games you play. nearly every single puzzle had a hint in a letter that seemed unimportant/simply a story builder earlier on which is cool!
That fuse box puzzle was so complicated 😅 I loved the slow zoom in like we were all slowly loosing our minds with you 😆

You find a clue to where to look for the shiv by reading the bulletin board (you have to zoom in to read the papers). Also, it's funny that you deduced the final code using frank and process of elimination, whereas I used Ben and process of elimination. I figured frank was a clue to solve the puzzle, but it didn't occur to me to just look at which week frank and Ben worked together.😅
You really went the extra mile with the scenic opening here :)
Really great to see a puzzle/ER where the answers and puzzles require a more significant amount of thought, logic, and careful observation. And as usual, beautifully presented by her Gabness!

As soon as Gab got to the lights/buttons puzzle I immediately recognized them as logic gates and wondered how long it would take her to figure them out. Not bad Gab!
As soon as I saw the shapes my childhood sprang to mind...and then I felt old, lol. My dad went to college for electrical engineering, so of course I learned logic gates. 😅 And punch cards. LOL Having older parents is trippy. I love the technology we have, but logic circuits, punch cards, gear puzzles (gotta get the right aspect ratio), etc give me memories of happy childhood moments instead of the usual anxiety flashbacks.
Oooh! And an rgb light puzzle! These are so nostalgic and fun!

18:46 You can zoom in when inspecting the bulletin board in the office room, and on one of those papers, it instructs officers to regularly check behind radiators, toilets and the like for contraband. :)
I love how I see the brick and instantly start thinking about what I can use it to break and then Gab explores the whole cell like a civilized person lol 😅
I honestly have to say I really like long video content, because I can put it in the background and do things and not be too stressed if I missed anything

Found and played this game on accident some time ago and wondered at the time if you already did it. It is honestly so nice to see another person's path through the same puzzles. I struggled with some and used hint a lot. And sometimes thought that it is just because of me being not that sharp. This video not being 30min or shorter comforts me xd. Sorry if this sounded strange.

Started playing this game only when I saw the thumbnail, am now past Jail Breakout, The Bunker and Questionable Side Stories, am ready to buy the Mansion Heist and came to watch Gab play, BUT also to say to all puzzle lovers to try these games. Am really hyped now! Jail Breakout and Questionable Side Stories are for free on Steam and is at no point a waste of time. Really appreciative about the brains and effort going into these games.
I played this game and the other ones in the series with a friend, and seeing you upload this video on the first game made me do a double take XD. So that made this an extra fun watch for me for sure, keep up the good work

I played this recently before this came out and gave up at the rotating puzzle on the gate, these puzzles were too big brain for me! Loved watching Gab play it though, much quicker witted than me😂

I've played this before with friends! It's a great game. Highly recommended.
I will admit, as someone a masters in compsci, seeing you struggle with the Boolean logic puzzle did make me giggle. :P Green is an AND gate, blue is an OR gate and red is an inverter. The reason the two reds in series worked is because the input to the first was 1 so it output 0. The second red then had an input of 0 and so output 1.
This was a really intense puzzle game!! I know it made my head hurt!!😂😂 I'm so amazed how you can figure these out Gab!! Off to find my next adventure!!❤❤

At the beginning , when you got the key , you just have to have the hook in hand and then click on the key . I struggled with that trying to hook it too ......DOH ! ...lol

I'm sick with nothing to watch, this came at such a perfect time!
Me realizing that I couldn't play this game not because I suck at puzzles but because I work in local government records management and seeing how poorly this police department is organizing their documentation would have me spiraling off into so many tangents (are these all convenience copies? are you even bothering to keep track of retention? how much trouble are you all going to be in when you get a PIA request???) that I would entirely forget what I was doing. Cop will walk in on me out of my cell the next morning and I'll just be all "Yes, I know I'm supposed to be in jail, but has anyone in your office ever even HEARD of a control schedule?"
(by the way, thank you for continuously providing lovely and entertaining videos for me to enjoy while I do my very nerdy job

I would have given up since I am not good a puzzles and if there is some type of math puzzle I be like yeah no not my language sorry, but good job really amazing seeing the puzzles being solve very fun and a bit challenging.

Played it with a friend, he literally got vietnam flashbacks when he saw the electrical circuit puzzle (he is an eletrical engineer, sort of). I could hear the foam forming in his mouth.

You are so good at this. I am totally confused most of the time as you eventually figure out all of these little brain puzzles. This is why I would die in an escape room unless I had a clever friend to help me out 😅
have u ever played a Rusty Lake game? they are a hog (kind of) that have a cartoonish astetic bus are actually very challenging and kinda wierd. My favorite one is called Cube Escape: Collection, it has 9 levels i think and all of them a quite interesting and hard. I 100% recomend it!!!!!!!

I just played this last week and I couldn't figure out what's making me feel so nauseous lol I still finished it tho. The control were a bit wonly in my opinion but the graphis are really good. My fave puzzle was the padlock with metal balls

26:14 I could be wrong, but this puzzle is incorrect: If the left button in the lower right quadrent is on, it senda a 1 to the blue OR gate, that sends a 1 to the NOT gate and sends a 0 to the green AND gate, so that can never get and 1 signal to teh final couple of AND gates.
