Yes i agree. I further analysed and something came into my mind. There is 30 or 31 days a month. Maybe women were allowed to rest for 5 days in a month because Women usually take care everything related to household. I think this was all done in the past year in some culture. I dont want to mention the name but this is definitely not in our real culture or tradition. This was all done to dominated women. For e.g. when we work for a whole month without getting a holiday we get so many stress we even think of quitting the job. I mean 5 days for rest and 25 days work so that whole process to work in a loop. After time to time this became a myth of Untouchability for 5 days.
