- This is my March Brown Nymph. This flat bodied stone-clinger nymph imitation has proved successful enough to earn it's place in my fly box over the last few years and it is normally my go-to nymph when the March Brown hatches in Eden during late March and early April.

Hook: Size 10 Kamasan B110
Thorax cover: 4 - 5mm strip of Brown Flexibody
Weight: 1 - 2mm strip of Veniard Adhesive Lead Foil

Abdomen: Dark Brown Hare-Tron dubbing
Rib: Wide/broad Copper wire
Thorax: Hare's mask/Pearl Ice Dub mix

Wonderful video!
Just subscribed, Excellent fly and presentation which should fish well down-under in NZ. I Will tie a few up for tomorrow on the Waioeka River. Much appreciated.
Hi Geoff; from Canada,Alberta. Just a few notes. Your right Geoff, this fly was very hard. Although I am a beginner it took me 1 hr. to finish it, however, I did it and it looks great... Thankyou for the pattern .. I will make more ,just not right now. I bookmarked your site and will visit it again. Thankyou.
Geoff, nice fly. It's so much easier tying from back to front: tail, rib, body, case, & thorax.
Beautiful 👌
Admiring your work 😍
Muy buena👍👍👍
'yer doin the trout dirt, seriously smart fly.
That a very good looking fly can you tell me what other bubbling work if you don't have the right ones
Geoff, I think that was a brilliant presentation. I tie a nymph which is a close copy and fish it successfully on tees and wear, your pattern will fish upside down as mine did, but i've tied it hook point up,(clever me,lol) and do you know what? it makes no difference to my catch rate. good vid, look forward to more, have liked and subbed, thank you , tight lines.....ken
