Loved my 6" 629 deluxe but the Ruger Super Blackhawk and Redhawk line of single and double action revolver are heavy beasts and a bit less expensive than modern S&W . I just love 44 magnum revolvers . Those are beautiful guns there and fascinating history lesson and specs.
Just bought a S&W 686 plus. It arrived at the dealer with weird scratch swirls on the barrel left side and the cylinder was a fight to open. Big surprise given reviews and the price tag. Sent it back before signing. Hopefully the replacement revives S&W's reputation. Actually, I couldn't even swing the cylinder at all but the shop owner who alerted me to the issues was able to finagle it loose.

@@TerryBenton I don't plan on spammng you with useless crap. Since you seem to have an interest in L-frames lately I thought I might send you pictures of a few rare ones I've picked up over the years. Nothing big.
I like 357 so so much. The 357 is what I learned how to reload on. Then that turned into casting just a great cartridge. Yeah it’s not normally chambered in autos. But that’s okay everything doesn’t have to be in a simi auto platform. This is America we are aloud to experience many different things in the world of firearms. And DONT allow anyone to tell you otherwise.
Nothing more beautiful then stainless and wood , thanks for sharing

Ruger makes revolvers that are built like tanks. You are correct there. They are beasts. Thanks for watching
