It was 1998 not 1996
I was about to type the same thing. I remember when the album dropped and my pop’s got it for me . I was 12 years old.
Exactly.
Yea the cover they talking about was September 29th 1998
Facts 💯💯 same year NORE Album also Cam'ron first album
Jermaine Dupri corrected him. 1996 was when dupris album came out. Pay attention guys
Jesus Christ Vlad! In ‘96, Jay dropped Reasonable Doubt and Hard Knock Life in ‘98. This guy is never prepared for interviews smh
But yet you watch every video he makes. Shut yo whack ass up
Any hip hop head should know those dates off the head.
Justin Faircloth at this point I think he’s trolling yall
Timelines are always off. They're talking about the hip-hop photo too. That wasn't taken till 98.
Money ain't a thang came out in '98...not '96
I still remember when I first saw the video....I was glued to the tv....that song was 🔥🔥🔥🔥
in the ferrari or jaguar switching four lanes with the top down screaming out money ain't a thing
Einstein Adonis Is Jaguar even on the same level as Ferrari?
Albert L they were still on the come up back then they didn't know no better
Einstein Adonis I’m not on a comeup and I know Ferrarri is better than Jaguar. They must have used Jaguar for the lyrical flow.
Albert L lol okay buddy
@@AlbertLara you missed the point, lol
Jay Z lyrics were crazy in that song, truly a lyrical king 👑
That song with ma$e n lil kim was my favorite on 1472
LATE BLUMA You Get Dealt Wit. Classic how Ma$e paid homage to Do Or Die with some AK lyrics from the song Po Pimp.
That track definitely went hard he had a couple of good tracks on that album
@@z.czieyaad9999 do or die is a group from Chicago...po pimpin was their breakout song.
Thanks I just checked them out , Chicago had sick flow & sound listening to them.
How many people went back and looked at this video 🤷🏻♂️
Nobody just you
Hater
😂
Couldn't find it
Where did you go, Dailymotion? It ain't on UA-cam
Good video!
And that's when I gained respect for JD as a lyricist. JD was neck to neck with Jay throughout that whole song.
Jay wrote the whole song......
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 RU KIDDIN ME??!!??
@@aikenstodd why would Jay write the whole song When JD wrote for The Brat, Kriss Kross, Xscape, Jagged Edge, Bow Wow, etc. JD just got inducted into the songwriting Hall Of Fame. JD is a producer/ writer.
@@infamousant41Nope! Bar for Bar JD was uo there Jay-Z on that song

JD snapped on that shit
Yeah cause Jay wrote his verses too lls

"Loved My Necklace Started Relaxing Now That's What The Fuck I CALL A CHAIN REACTION Went from wholesome to Jigga You Awe Some Baby I Don't Play All My Jewelry Is Light Grey Platinum Spend Your Whole Life In A Day" Jigga 98'
JD go way back to 10 or 11 when ....I forgot who it was that introduced him to Ecstacy the group Whodini and they took JD on tour around the world...and that's when JD got the full insights of the business.

I was in college when that joint came out and that was like 98/99 don't remember hearing it in 96 tho
Vlad don't know shit about Hip Hop. Everybody knows Hard knock Life came off of Vol 3 in 98'. Dude said 96'. No sir, that would be Reasonable Doubt

No Vlad...it was not Part 2 😂😂😂
I hated that song. I liked "Money, Cash, Hoes," though.
Naw money aint a thing was n had a tough catchy beat
I was in high school that song used to be the shit but I don't have a desire to listen to it now lol
@@stunnaboycodotcom I never liked it. I thought the beat and rhymes sucked. My sister liked it, though.

Who remembers Jds braids
Those braids were a crime against humanity
I think he had them in the movie In To Deep
@Dana Jo Thug's weren't that bad, and braids used to be a north houston thing, I'm from the southside and the southside fades we used to wear with only a patch of hair in the front was sickening lol
@Dana Jo you know, I just googled it, you're right. They were much worse than i remembered. Looked like a head full of stitches
@Dana Jo he went bald lol
JD go way back to 10 or 11 when ....I forgot who it was that introduced him to Ecstacy the group Whodini and they took JD on tour around the world...and that's when JD got the full insights of the business.
Jermaine is one of the best producers all time, and he stayed humble. RESPECT!
Summer '98 was one of the greatest summers in hip hop history
Jermaine Dupri’s album came out July 21, 1998
From a distance JD look like Dame Dash
Jay's wordplay and flow on that joint is still crazy 20 yrs later!
Fact: Money ain’t a thang didn’t come out in 96 it came out in 1998 on life in 1472 Jd album and also on Hov album Hard Knock life vol 2..1996 was reasonable doubt and biggie would still be alive.
That Money Ain’t A Thang record was fire 🔥
Reasonable Doubt was 96. Hard Knock Life: Vol. 2 was 98.
when vlad said was hard knock life out in 96 for jay I had a flashback when he thought pac was alive when either was released LMAO
Jarke what if tomorrow he had a “flashback video” and it was that interview and all the viewers would be confused why he flashed it back, LOL
Jermaine dupri looks like dame dash......change my mind
Jermaine rocking the hell out that purse, lol!!😆
Bobby Crudup was thinking the same thing
U got rappers out here painting they finger nail, wearing dresses, having color hair, wearing makeup. And u worrying about jd wearing a man bag? Stop it😂
😂😂😂
Dolla dolla bill what the deal
I was 15 in 96 white af and used to skip school in delaware and drive to NYC because these dudes were rapping about NYC THE 160 BUILDINGSINY
Jermaine Dupri's album came out in 98 not 96.
Vlad get interviews, but his facts be off, dobt really know his stuff ..98 vlad
Anybody notice that you cant fimd the video on youtube anymore?
My girl Kenya Moore is featured in that video! Before housewives...
Vlad if you don’t upload these videos all
together... or at least all in one day. 🙄
I wanna see JD Deconstruct a beat on Genius if there ain't no behind the scenes footage of him building one in the studio already.
There's a couple JD making a beat videos on UA-cam
Ok
vlad dosent need to ask questions..apparently he already knows the answers
OMG WTF are vlad & JD talking about? In 1996, Jay Z only had one album out (Reasonable Doubt). Jay Z was barely a gold artist at that time. In 1996, 2Pac was steamrolling tf out of Jay. That was Pac's year, good (outselling every rap artist that year) and bad (he was murdered). JD's Life in 1472 came out in 1998. Jay-Z's Hard Knock Life came out in 1998. That is when Jay-Z became a super star. That album sold like 5 million in the USA. That was his biggest selling album of his career. DMX and Jay murdered Money, Cash, Hoes. JD's album was an instant platinum seller. DMX showed up on Get Your Ish Right. Ma$e & Kim killed You Get Dealt Wit. Both of those albums were classics.
Diane V : jay went gold and the next year it went plat
Diane V and you are correct with your green eyed self!!!! Hahaha!!!!
