i started watching basketball in the mid 2000's when i was 13 and it was during the playoffs between the suns and mavericks. i didn't know any better and my two favorite players were automatically nash and nowitzki. i could tell from just looking at them talking after the games that they had amazing chemistry and would've worked so well if they played on the same team, and later on i found out that they did. if nash stayed with dallas.... holy sh*t they would have no trouble dominating.

As a Mavs fan, I completely disagree with you. Prime Dirk and Nash only became that way because they went their separate ways and became team leaders. Prime Kobe and Shaq were that way because they built each other up and fit each other extremely well. The problem they had was attitude, neither one ever wanted to be second fiddle.
