Killer vid man! Love the soundtrack too! With the mountains and the evergreens in the background it looked like some real Southern Germany Front action. Good pilot and cameraman, editing. Nicely Done!
One of the best videos I have seen on the subject of RC planes. The excellent videography and editing of an outstanding subject under optimal lighting conditions makes for a superb result. I am quite intrigued by this particular aircraft as a possible addition to my fleet and your video is very helpful.
great control! Just got my stuka second hand and I'm going over it with a fine toothed comb before I take her up. Very very cool looking plane and I'm waiting on the sound system to come in so I can get a little more cool out of it. Happy flying my friend!
sorry I missed this great comment. Thanks a lot, more great stuff on the main channel. Try to make it so you can actually see these aircraft, and even the surfaces moving on them, in flight if possible. Lots of full scale stuff too
@flyboycub thanks a lot, I do a lot of the camera work, unless I'm flying myself. This is one of our buddies at the field flyin, and it's his Stuka. Tyler is a great pilot and loves his scale stuff
OK,...conclusion, I think this is by far the best FMS Stuka video on youtube, plane was in focused at all times, showing the slow gracefulness of its flying ability. Suggestion, if you add "/Airfield" and "Nitroplanes" to your tag, you'd probably get more viewers, also question for you, when you were filming this vid, did you at any point use any special effect like slo-mo..referring to 1:16, cuz this Stuka can fly slow,..but too slow while taking corners, you will get a nasty surprise...
@DAMIENloh1970 ya there's a couple clips that are slowed down, including 1:16. One at the end worked really well too, for the scale look. thanks, more tags the better. thanks a lot for watching
@PatBALEX this is Tyler's, one of our buddies at the field. He said it's a good slow flyer, and seemed to fly really well, but he's a good pilot too, so makes it look pretty stable. I know he needed to put a 1/4lb of lead in the nose lol, usual for FMS haha
@DAMIENloh1970 ya that's what flaps are mostly for, and to help slow stuff down, but it may have looked like they are down for a lot of the flight too, because of how detached they are from the wing. thanks for watching, and he's using a 4cell I think 2200
HI m8 very cool vid!!!!I just purchased mine too and would like to ask you how do you secure the esc and the battery in there/?It doesnt have much access to put a velcro or something so i was wondering.Cool vid and thanks in advance!Have nice and safe flights.
@fillopygeesi sorry to hear that. This is a buddys so not sure what it flies like myself, but he did say very sluggish controls, not real agile, but the slow flight seemed pretty good. MIght've been a tip stall, if banked over too slow
If it doesn't fly any different, probably not an issue. @ 0:04 you can't say anything for sure, if I had the cam to the right more, it'd look different too. Regardless, I just filmed the plane while it was at the field, and haven't seen it there again so can't verify anything for you
@vizzuleyes ya seems to fly really well. Slow speed flight is pretty good, but don't slow it down too much in the corners. Also Tyler who is the pilot, said he had to put 1/4lb in the nose to get it to the proper CG, and to fly well. Make sure it's a little bit , barely, nose heavy Tail heavy is really bad with most of these FMS planes. Glad the wife made an exception. :-)
Wow all this time, I never miss a vid and It said I wasn't subscribed to ya. Well that just changed. lol. Finished my Stuka she is ready for maiden. Only changes were a 60amp Detrum ESC, and a 8 to 15amp UBEC on separate lipo. Way to many servos to not run on a BEC. But I'm guessing your not? lol
NIIIIIce as always warderseeker, after my last 5 edf purchase the wife cut me off for a while, lol but she loves this plane and said it was the exception to buy. Only found it at nitroplanes, would you reccomend the buy man? it just looks awesome.
@vizzuleyes Not sure if Tyler ran a seperate BEC or not. Probably not, but hard to say. 8 amp should be plenty for a ubec, especially considering the size of the servos. Not my plane though, so who knows. This one actually had a quad go "through" it LOL Airframe for a new one seemed reasonable, so think he went that way
I think there is a manufacturer flaw in this plane...my fuselage is slightly curve to the left when viewing from the front such that the rudder is not directly ontop of the cockpit but alittle off to the left,...I thought it was me,...but after looking @0:04...I think its the manufacturing defect...but at least it doesn't affect flying...none that I know of... can u verify this?
Thanks Chris, was using a sony HDR something at the time, Sony makes great camcorders, lenses are awesome and AVCHD does really well. Thanks for watching
I had one of these. It was a good looking plane but crashed it second time I flew it. I don't know if it was just me or what but it seemed to want to do its own thing and kinda unpredictable. I made a hard bank and it suddenly rolled over and smack in the blink of an eye.
What a beast!! Thanks for posting.
+Frank Fraser thanks a lot, more great scale stuff on the channel

This is a great plane love mine but check the ailerone hinges before flight most are loose from the factory
@chiosex ya siren would be great on this, he should look into a sound system for it

@bckillick thanks a lot, yes, was already looking at the guns to see how we can make something happen lol
@vizzuleyes ya seems to fly really well. Slow speed flight is pretty good, but don't slow it down too much in the corners. @RCFindsen ya, the spinner is great, thanks for watching
Nice vid, what size batt were you using and why the flaps down for most of the flight? Reduce chances of tip stall at slow speed?
NIIIIIce as always warderseeker, after my last 5 edf purchase the wife cut me off for a while, lol but she loves this plane and said it was the exception to buy. Only found it at nitroplanes, would you reccomend the buy man? it just looks awesome.

@warderseeker Well Thank u for posting :)
@fluxful thanks, cool old warbird
@MacNutz2 thanks for watching
Great video. What kind of camera did you use?
Thanks Chris, was using a sony HDR something at the time, Sony makes great camcorders, lenses are awesome and AVCHD does really well. Thanks for watching

@nishbrown LOL!!
@beverke7 Hey man, my buddy Norm had a big one of these, video of that around.
@mreid08 thanks dude
U nas latały oryginały:(
Shouldn't it have a swastika on the tail for historical accuracy?
probably, but company didn't want to put it on for whatever reason.
In some countries,especially Germany,displaying the swastika is illegal.
Just don't get it Stuka in a tree-a.
LOL- sorry.
Нашел такую. Заказал, и уже пол года жду. Ни ответа, ни привета.! Кто знает нормальный магазин с такой моделью, подскажите..!
discontinued and out of stock everywhere, you might've ordered a back order that will never be filled
