what size of cord are you using ?and where i can buy buckle?
thank you!
Thank you! Question, is it possible to put gaps between the snake knot so that you have different sections of snake knots on one bracelet?
I've had mine on for about 5years..I haven't taken it off since I made mine..😅

Much love from Australia, your videos are by far the easiest to follow. 97 days sober and this has really helped me pass the time in a positive way
Thanks heaps
Keep it up dude, I'm 70 days and am focusing on doing this too lol
Dude same here! Let’s gooo
Hey, way to go, guys! I hope you're still doing the thing! I'm 5yrs sober rn & I love these things that keep the mind from wandering
Made these notes for myself. Watch the entire video first, then refer back to these points to re-enforce what you learned. This was a great project. Thank you.

I swear I have finally found THE BEST videos for any Paracord knots. I have tried other videos but thankfully found this one before I threw the Paracord machine through the window. THANK YOU!!!!
Just finished my first paracord following your instructions. I actually bought the paracords from your store and finally got a chance to make one of my soon many bracelets.
Ty for being the first vid to remind me how I like doing this knot. 😊
I'm in the feild for training. Sometimes we get a lot of down time. I used 550 cord for this and the mad max cobra knot. Thanks.
I hope you are okay 🤗♥️🙏
What's up Joshua
My nephew has been asking me for weeks to show him how to tie a paracord bracelet, this was just what I needed. Thanks.
Not the easiest thing to teach a 5 and 9 year old. But all the adults picked it up from the first 5 min of your video, and were able to teach the kids the proper way to make the knot, but it was difficult for them to properly sinch the the knot. I found that after you tie the correct knot, you can alternate pulling the Left and Right cords while softly pulling the knot into the base of the wristband.
I personally, made an approximately 18" (45.72cm) strand in about 2 hours.
Although I was unable to teach my nephews correctly.
(If I might suggest) Making a condensed version more appropriate for younger audiences. For example under 5:00 min? I believe the UA-cam algorithm favors +10:00 min, but "Exposure is Exposure". I think something orientated towards kids (Or at least techniecs to teach kids) would be helpful.
I appreciate the work you have put into this video, so I will let it play till the end. And again, Thanks.
I am doing a bracelet now at 00.47 in the night due to that I can't fall asleep yet xD So atleast I learned some of my very first knots to turn in a bracelet! Thanks for sharing this toturial!
I just discovered paracord bracelets and am making the first one ever as I type this. You made the instructions so simple thank you!
Boom made my first one ever, easy to follow for me. Thank you 💪🏽🙏🏽
I really enjoyed making this. Nice and simple. A couple things I learned about making these is, don't make them exactly the circumference of your wrist. You need to make them a little shorter to allow for the amount of stretch that will happen once worn (even when you have tight knots). Another thing... Keep count of the # of knots that works for your wrist. I think mine is 27. My wrist is about 6.5 inches.
Thank you sir. I had done this knot before but not for a long time. I had forgotten how to do it. Your video and explanation is perfect. You will have helped a great many amount of people with your video. By Watching you do it and your way of doing it I remembered how to do it again. Thanks and best wishes Brian.
I have already made two today! Thank you for the awesome video. I put a toothpick in the small hole in the beginning and left it there until the end. At the end instead of using a Fid I used a nail to open it up a little bit.
I just completed my very first bracelet! Thank you!
You have encouraged me to start playing around with paracord. I get all the things tomorrow and I will see how I do.
Your video is easy to follow and you are a great teacher. I just started doing paracord craft and loving it.
I struggle with basic tasks.I have tried many times. My brother got it in one try.
Edit:Nvm I was kinda sad.I watched the part at 4:40 closer and it all became clear.Great video
Went thru several vids for snake knot - THIS ONE IS THE BEST!
Excellent video. for first timer's, let me add a tip to help avoid some of the problems that I ran into: Make your initial 'left side' crossover loop small and as close to the previous knot as possible. This way, when you start cinching things up, you don't have gaps. The first half of my bracelet was a little lumpy and uneven, but the second half looked as tight as the one in the video-- because I figured this little detail out. I'd start mine too big and too far down on the untied cord, so when I cinched up, there were slight gaps in the knots leading to an uneven look.
I enjoy how you explain things more than twice and your easy to follow along unlike some channels thank you
If you do not have a fid, it worked to use a "hemostat" or locking hand grasper like fisherman use to tie/make lures (or used in an OR or GI lab..).
I learned the snake knot a little bit different but the results are the same. Good work
Omg you made that so easy to do thank you so much
I've been tying knots my whole life since I was 8 I'm 54 now seems like I just started. Learning lots of stuff and enjoying the content. The mad max ended bracelets I'm really liking. And I've learned 3 new knots. Peace from Stan the Alaskan. Just subbed too.
Thanks, I made my first bracelet only today as I just found some at my local dollar tree. I didn't have the needle thing, so threading it through the hole was a bit tricky, but it worked and looks pretty good! Thanks!
I know it is four years later, but I have found that toothpicks can help if you dont have the specialized tool
I don’t have a Fid needle , so I just sewed the two ends together and used a lighter to bond the ends then pushed it though the hole, and I just wrapped the lose end around itself so it’s not hanging.
Thanks for the very easy to follow instructions. I'm making a safety sling for a cinema camera mattebox, this works great :D Also I realized that you can do the first loop easier and faster by just twisting the knot snake (from the top clockwise)
Thanks for this.
Just made my first paracord item!
I am going to try to make one of these as a wrist lanyard for my slingshot, I think where you end it with the stopper knot, after the stopper knot ill keep going and continue it with a loop to go through the lanyard hole on the handle of the slingshot! It should be perfect for that, the snake knot wrist part will be more support around my wrist than just a single strand of paracord, more comfortable to. Thanks for the video, I subscribed for more ideas!
Thanks for the easy to follow directions I started and finished it in less then an hour and it looks great
When I did mine I did three snake knots at the end
You made it very easy to follow! Instructional videos like this are what UA-cam is all about! Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge!
OMG thank goodness i found you lol....i have been trying to wrap my cellphone cords to sell and i love the snake knot but forgot how you did yours!!!
Thank you for your content, just made this one as a follow along and it turned out great. Easy to follow and clear info.thank you.😊
Going to try this with some thin, round leather cordage to make a thin but strong necklace for my mjolnir and bearded axe pendants.
Perfect, thanks so much..👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much for helping me make these. I made my first one last night. But I made it with a charger cord and its pretty dope💖💖💖
Thank you for the instructions. I made my first bracelet with the Peacock paracord. Very nice! More bracelets on the way...
Thank you bud , it helped a lot❤
bro he is not checking the comments, its been 7 years -_-
You could actually put a microcord fid in the closure loop so it doesn't pull through and can sinch it down some.
Can anyone say the name of the needle like tool used here
Fid. He has a link to fids sold from his store
How to determine starting cord length?
Great tutorial. I made my first bracelet using this video. As I working on it I noticed the knot pattern tended to twist along the length of the bracelet. Is this normal? Thanks for sharing your talents with the paracord people....
My first one did that... my second didn't
It was a very good training, thank you💫💫💫💫
Mil gracias por compartir tu saber ,felisitacionespor tan limdo trabajo.
That snake knot bracelet from Mad Max. It will suit me well on my right wrist thank you.
Fids are a must
this video was so helpful he is good at teaching
First time making a paracord bracelet and needless to say I couldn't have done it without this video. Thanks!
If you do not have a fid All you have to do is when you’re starting a bracelet make the hole a little bigger
here okay! bracelet finished! thanks man... awesome
What is the name of the material you use
It's Nylon cord
Just made one and it came out just right! Thanks! You're pretty clear on your instructions.
your are the easiest to follow!
Hey, if you don't have a fid leave the loops a lil bit bigger so you don't struglle
I tried this and thought it was quite tricky. Not sure if its because the paracord i used is flat and not round like in the video
made 3 paracords from your videos for personal use i have to say it's fun and looks great thank you
Dude I swear I’ve done 5 bracelets in 2 days. Tried to stay up and make my own style, needless to say 3am and idk where I am. Help!!!!!!!!!!!
....
I want to help but I’ve knot got any idea what you need !
@99woodardsj it's 3:54 a.m., Thanksgiving morning and I've not slept since Tuesday...so that dad joke is really HILARIOUS!!😂🤣🙃
have you tried attaching your buckle to a hook, it helps to keep work still some so it frees up your hands more to finish project faster.
Dude thanks for making these vids; I enjoy making these :D
do i need that needle thing to make the bracelet? i want to make one for my boyfriend but i dont think i have that needle thing
I just finished mine except I got ahead of the video and made the starting loop too big. But I just tied a double knot and the loop catches and holds it on my wrist. Thanks!
Made my first one!!! Thanks 😊
AWESOME! Thank You very much for sharing Your knowledge. Greetings from France ^_^
Do you have link on a tutorial on the blue bracelet you have on this video? Thanks! Great video. 👍
I used a safety pin in the loop. Worked great. Where do you get the needles?
Great video, excellent instructions!
Very well explained with step by step knots thank you please send More new styles when you upload a new video
Awesome! Love it! Great tutorial!
Were do you get those lighters. I am 70 years ,and I already made the brazalete for my son and I am from Puerto Rico, thank you for the clear instrucción.
muy preciosas las pulseras
Made one today, good addition to my kit. Thanks!
Thanks for the easy to follow instructions. I made two braclets already. Thank you!!
Nice job explaining, showing, commenting 👍. You remind me a bit of Bob Ross the painter 😁.
Thanks for the great tutorial. It was very fun to create.
Is it possible to do a crisscrossed pattern or an "X-Shaped"-Pattern style paracord bracelet with only one paracord string?
Thanks. Video easy to follow. Good instructions. Love the snake knot bracelet. Easier for the grandchildren to put on without the buckles. Made a few of these. Mad Max, 👍🏼.
What I have a way to tie the knot at the end would like to see what u think about it instead of going under go over and bring it back through it to finish it
I’m not one to ever like or comment, but very good video and great instruction
Great video. My first one turned out well.
Thank you for another GREAT video. This makes bracelet #2. I made the first one with your MAD MAX STYLE VIDEO. Thank you!
Bro I had made it and it looked beautiful 😊😊😊 tnx
I'm new to this skill just gotta say I wanted to learn ur very informative and I enjoyed this very much. its like give me a fish or teach me I need to go no were else thank you very much
Finally! Thank you for posting this! I've been wanting a tutorial for this knot, I also like that closing style.
The knot I've been looking for.....thank you!
"Im gonna back this up." *zooms in*
When he said "I'm going to back IT up" he meant that he was going to start over to show us a different technique to use for passing the cord through instead of fashioning a temporary loop to pass it through like he showed the first time. He wasn't talking about the camera . . . lol
ShadeoftHEARTdesigns The person you are responding to is not at goat, but a donkeys arse!
On a note I used a small key ring to get the small hole but it also stop me from pulling the start loop through and then I just took it off when I was ready to put the last 550 through
Mine keeps twisting as I make it
Mine too... I thought it's only happen because of I use flat paracord
You have to straighten after each one
You do a great job explaining and showing.. My favorite so far.... Thanks.
Thanks for sharing, man. I'm experiencing with paracord I bought 👍
This looks super satisfying and therapeutic
The Best tutorial 👍
I’ve made a dog leash with a 4 strand snake knot like this but I am getting stumped by how to make the handle. I want to take the snake weave and loop it over for a simple handle that looks like it just continues from the main lead and weave the four strands back into itself, but I can’t figure out the best way to do this. I don’t think you have a 4 strand snake weave video, so maybe this can be a new content idea for you! Thanks for your help.
Works good thanks for the help
Thanks bro =) First time making too - and... Success =) Nice video!
Where to get the needle thing?
I love Americans, you call the liquid in your car gas and you call the gas inside your lighter fluid 🤣
Oh I know! We're so backwards 🙄! I can't help that I was born here but I'd like to move to the UK!
How long do you need the Paracord to be?
Great video. What do you call that lighter you using and what brand please. Thank you
Loved the video. You are easy to listen to and learn from. This knot had a way of twisting on me. I have old hands with arthritis and I found if I put the fid in the little loop at the top I could hold on to it and know the direction to keep it from twisting. Second bracelet was easier than the first. Like your tips. Keep them coming.
I love Paracord bracelets
