Maybe the customer did not want to pay the repair and the guy just removed the backlight filter to put the device in its original state.

I got my macbook fixed.
The issue was same- Dim screen.
But after getting it fixed, when i adjust brightness it flickers on each step of brightness level.
Is it normal after this repair?
