- Join us for a huge lunch at this very popular restaurant in the Pigeon Forge/Sevierville area. This meal is a feast and especially for lunch. We have had a great experience here before and you guys wanted us to come here so we did. We will also check the whole complex out for a quick look.

It’s so different watching you guys now after being there and watching the process. We love how you guys close up on the food before you take a bite it really shows what it’s all about. I really liked the Applewood Farmhouse Grill. Soups looked so good!The lunch John had I loved cause it had the chicken and dumplings. Reminded me of helping my grandmother making the dumplings as a teenager. The pot pie was homemade for sure. On Bobbis plate the BBQ cheese chicken! Of course the apple fritters. The whole complex was nice. The Christmas shoppe had neat little decorating ideas. Plus Apple butter and apple pie places. I like Pigeon Forge more and more.

We've been going to the Apple Barn complex for many years. Both restaurants are so good! We like the old country feeling of the Applewood Farmhouse. When we first started going there, we didn't even realize that the Applewood Farmhouse was at the other end of the property! John got a lot of food. I have never ordered that for that reason, too much food for me! I love their apple butter! The last time we were there I bought 3 pints of their apple butter to last me awhile. My husband doesn't care for it, so it takes me awhile to even eat one pint!

That honkin' big ol' carrot from the pot pie was hilarious! All I can do is laugh and say, "CONGRADOLENCES!" Every thing looked tasty (even the soaps)! And the prices were decent.

I’m so jealous you guys get to travel solo and enjoy each other’s companies. My children are young still, and while I love them dearly, man they can be a handful 😂😂 I can’t wait to dine without tantrums 😂. Will be trying this place when we all visit in November

I remember having to take my child out of the restaurant once for misbehaving so badly! He turned out to be a fine young man….. whew! 😅 My last boy will graduate this year and I hope to travel more with my husband. John and Bobbi seem to have such fun and enjoy each other’s company.

The other Apple Barn Restaurant is my favorite. Definitely go there for breakfast sometime.

I have so many great memories with my family at this place, there use to be a big crowd of us to vacation together but most of them has passed away now but me, hubby, and our daughter keep the tradition going on
I inherited my aunt and uncles house and everything they own. I always told them the kitchen and kitchenette looks like an apple orchard exploded in them, apple everything
I miss them dearly, I would give it all to have them back

Wow what a great comment. Really enjoyed reading about you family and how you decorate the kitchen. Family is so important my parents are both gone and I would love like you said to see them again. Life is so short you have to enjoy every second.
We have only been to the Applewood Grill evertime of the two on property. That one is less crowded. Go around 230 and on a weekday you will get in like us. It was not crowded. We enjoy in Pigeon Forge the Alamo and the Old Mill is a must. The Old Mill I think is better than the Apple Barn. Try it out and have a Merry Christmas 😎😎
John got the best buy. But Bobby are your green beans the flat Italian pod. Looks great. Great video. Stay safe.

The green beans appear to be the Italian Cut, Southern style green beans would be with Shellie beans. That grilled chicken with the Barbecue Sauce Bacon and Cheese and Bacon==== Now at Chili’s it was called Chicken Monterey with Monterey Jack Cheese on it which Chili’s took off the Menu, was one of my favorites. Aka/ Chili’s sold there’s for the same price you paid for yours, can’t say where the exact recipe came from but, whoever came up with it should be a millionaire because, barbecue sauce and cheese and bacon on grilled chicken hits the right spot in tummy that made you go to heaven in your mind.

The place looked reasonably busy but definitely not packed. This isn’t really my kinda fare but I probably could’ve found something to eat there. Seems like a place that’s more for the seniors.
This is one of hardest places to get into in Pigeon Forge most of the time. Ranked as a top 10 place to eat. We planned on going when we knew it wouldn't be busy. Great home cooked food. 😎😎
I love your content and smokey mountain family too You spoke about the apple butter I have a friend that I used to work taking care of her foster child of the time but anyway the whole family gets together in the whole community between their family and the church and all All they ask is you bring your own Mason jar or jar or container and if you want the kind that you're talking about with the red hots in them come a day before and they'll fix a whole big batch of that and you can take home as much as you want and then the next day they make a new batch and it's just regular apple butter and they put it in the middle of their driveway they set up a fire and have a big cast iron type of pot or bowl I can't pronounce the word or spell it and fix apple butter for their community

We just use a phone so that's why. Alot of times what happens is I have to add music at low volume to over ride the places music for copyright reasons. That lowers our voice volume. We have had many videos we have to do that on. We edit everything on phone also so we are just basic vloggers. Appreciate you watching though.😎😎

I like you guys, but if you are wanting to eat something unusual ( fried green tomato sandwich) then go to a sandwich or sub shop. It's like going to Huck Finns and ordering pork chops. It may be on the menu, but it's not their specialty.

When we ate there we went around 2:30 in the afternoon. I'm not sure what day of the week would be the best. We don't live in that area. But I would definitely go on a week day.😎😎
