I particularly like the sections of the film showing other planes flying and maneuvering. Seldom seen. Shows some of our guy's flying skills. Thanks. 👍👍👍🇺🇸
Anything that moves or can move. All forms of transport was considered part of the German war effort. Even shot up many horses and wagons. Germany used MANY horses to move men and material.
No footage of the strafing of horse drawn wagon's?. One clip show a horse being cut in two, the front half staggering forward, still pulling. The Germans forced captured prisoners to drive those wagons,,full of ammo and supplies, along with a German soldier riding shotgun. Once the gig was up, the orders came down. "ANY horse drawn wagon in motion to be strafed". leaflets were dropped. It didn't last long, but some still tried. Innocents were lost, but, that is war. War is Planned Murder.
Almost one of them was the cousin of my grandmother. A pair of P-38s strafed her as she and two friends drove by bike from her place to the neighbour village in Schleswig-Holstein in late March 1945. They all jumped in a water trench beside the small road. One bullet missed her so closely that the heat of the projectile burnt the skin of her arm. 35 years later as a very young boy I saw the scar and asked her what happend. Three girls on her bikes... I guess the pilots were bored or something. She wasn't angry. It was war, she said and war was all she knows at this age.

Imágenes en color! Como en Corea, Laos, Vietnam, Libia, Camboya, Irak…..🫠🫠
Looks like a common theme to escape. Maneuver and climb, or dive and climb. Thunderbolt was pretty heavy.
Thank you ALL
what are they shooting? cars ?
Everything
Civilians trying to flee. This is a war crime

American war crime in WW2 captured on tape.... Nice
@@svenale2201 a common theme among all wars is the death of innocent civilians. It's terrible and incredibly sad but it happens.

These are not war crimes. Germany started the war by bombing the English, French, Danish, Polish and others first.
That is no reason to shoot unarmed civilians.
You are a damn ignorant
You are comlete insane. These pilots were war criminals
Terror against civilians. Shame on them. My Granma survived an attack only with a jump into the ditch. Germany in spring 1945.
Oh well. Her physical prowess ensured your birth.
Considered to be war crime as in the majority of cases innocent civilians were killed!
Just like when the Germans bombed English, Polish, Danish, French and Russian civilians?
