Who would’ve thought that I now have an avocado on my desk! One that will never go mouldy! My friend taught me to crochet last year in October and I joined my school crochet club that was available to the year 6s! I can never understand reading patterns but this video was very helpful! After 3 attempts I got a bit frustrated but then I sat down and thought “If I am super careful I will do it!” And on my 4th go it made a cute little avocado! The pip sits a bit low but it doesn’t matter! Thank you so much for this and keep doing what you are doing! (Hehe I even subscribe! My next mission is to make the lemon!)

I'm so happy you were able to figure it out! Good luck with the lemon (it's a bit easier then the avocado so I don't think you'll have any problems). Thank you for subscribing!

I love how easy it is to follow your videos I made a washcloth I know how easy it is, but it took me years to find your video and really learn how to do it right.
Now I want to make an avocado, but I want to size it up to be a pillow or snuggle toy I am just not sure how much I should increase it by.

On my blog I have 2 avocado pillows called the Avocuddler and Avocuddler Mini! They're made with bernat blanket yarn so they're big, soft, and cuddly! whoshomemade.com/crochet-avocuddler-pattern/

so i would like to make a bigger avocado.... and I tried just doubling it to 14 stitches in the beginning but it looks kinda weird so I'm think you start with 7, which is an odd number so should I start with 15? i think I'm going to try that and see what happens. but I would like to know if there's a way to make a bigger one because other patterns start with the magic ring but I don't like how it looks. i think your pattern is the best and easiest
