@@Atombender I doubt Rolex was the first to put a green dial in a watch. They may be the brand that made it popular... like many other trends in watchmaking... but it's unlikely they were the first.
Another good episode but why these podcasts are getting shorter and shorter 😔 We love your podcast and want to hear more from you guys, not less!!! Please extend the time to 15 mins at least.
This is awesome. Always loved the Corum bubbles, had no idea the designer lived such an interesting life. This new design looks very cool. Keep up the good work.
You forgot to mention the Lucifer, the bubble model I own, which came in a beautiful presentation case complete with cleaning cloth and a numbered scroll of authenticity.
My favorite shot: the x-ray of an arm wearing the Corum. I fell out! This watch appeals to a limited number of folks, and I’m not one of them. But it is fun to talk about in a humorous way, And the underlying message is a lot more thought-provoking (which was touched upon in the video). If a watch makes you laugh and think, it’s a rare piece worthy of appreciation…even if you don’t buy it. Thank you, Mr. Hands and Tom, for making us laugh and reminding us of our mortality on Monday morning.
Great video. Corum is one of those brands I've heard of but never invested too much time looking at, so it was interesting to get a quick recap of one of its more popular collections.
I am subscribed, I have notifications turned on yet I did not receive any notifications for this video. Now I understand why you have to use "Rolex" in your titles.
Bubble fan from their first release (got the original on a black leather strap)… I personally prefer the first models when the bubble was properly bulging out of the watches face. That said, some of the newer ones aren’t bad either. Big fan of the digital bubble which I also own… google it, so retro
The Dame Edna spectacles had me rolling! Ain't a watch for me but you gotta hand it to Quorum...making three sizes and the skull luminous...666...how bizarre! lmfao at Dame Edna tho!
I have a Corum 'Bubble' Jolly Roger which has the skull at 12 o'clock with bones for the hour and minute hands, red second hand, automatic movement and is 1 of only 500 issued. I love it. ☠⌚😎
Why am I under the impression that Corum is an expensive brand & that their Bubbles would cost in the tens of thousands of $? I'm literally gobsmacked to hear the price of this, just $4000!!
I absolutely love watches like these. I cant afford them to be honest but if I did, I would pick up some of these crazy ones alongside to some classics from Rolex and Omega 😍
It’s called dia de los muertos. It’s a festival that has been going on before the Spanish came to the America’s. It’s the day the dead come and visit the living. It’s on November the 2nd. NOT MADE UP BY JAMES BOND
Hands ruin it for me. Why bother with the highly detailed rendering of the skull to stick those in front of it? Looked way better with the time indicators at the perimeter
I have enough trouble with what's going on in my own skull let alone what's going on with one to be worn on the wrist. I guess I'm in two minds on this watch.
am i missing something here? it’s literally just a picture of a skull for a watch face, no hand finished decoration, interesting complication, just an image for a watch face? i suppose you could class it as a “skeletonised” watch but even a good dad jokes not worth 4,000
Dear Mr. Talking Hands & Friends, Love this one, I’d like a dozen please! Could you please consider looking at the Xeric Trappist 1 NASA edition? I’m thinking of getting one, but I’ll wait for your professional opinion. Thanks and please keep up the great work! Sincerely, J. S. B.
Okay boys. Let's make a deal. You put rolex in the title, mention it trice, but then pivot into an interesting watch in that video. 😉 best of both worlds. We aren't pummeled by rolex content, you get the click bait.
Ah Corum, never knowingly out uglied, the Hublot of horror. I remember the first Corum hype piece the Admirals Cup. The only yaching watch uglier than the Rolex Yachtmaster🤣🤣🤣🤣 (That shoulda been the clickbait!) Double troll! Win!
Too weird for words. Look like gimmicky toy-like things to me on camera (may be different in the metal), but as such, the price is eye watering. I'm sure these have their fans, but very niche IMO and certainly not for me.
We know you want more watches…. click here: linktr.ee/watchfinder
This video should be called: no Rolex in this title
But then it would have ‘Rolex’ in the title…
And don’t the numbers show it!
@@ZayniD ah yes eternal word games
@r2l100 yes but the view count doesn’t forgive not using Rolex in the title
Maybe this channel’s fans didn’t realize it was our video, ikr?
They really have captured the trend here - 52mm with glowing skulls … the watch Rolex wished it released first!!!
"the watch Rolex wished it released first" .. I'm kinda surprised this isn't the video title, at this point
Rolex doesn't do anything first.
@@jasonchaney5382 Rolex started the green dial craze and everyone else copied them. Patek also copied their turquoise dial.

Last time Rolex released I new watch I wasn’t even born yet and I am over 30.

“That’s a lot of money for a Halloween costume”. lol I want one just for that comment.

Don't Listen To Him He's Trying To Rip You Off!
Anyone else old enough to remember market stalls selling necklaces with holograph designs in?
This gives me that kind of vibe.
Kinda stupid how the algorithm wont show content that doesnt have "Rolex" or "WORLDS _____" in the title.
What a cool watch! Thanks for releasing videos like this showing watches OTHER than Rolex.
Apparently, Severin Wunderman played the 'Skiing Customer' in Minority Report.
I don't remember him either...
My 13 year old self would have loved the skull watch...
My 37 year old self would wear one to the opera.
No rolex in title, and it wasn’t in my suggestions… interesting
This is clearly refined luxury. I would have also liked a flame function where the watch can also be used as a lighter.
I'm shocked this watch doesn't DESTROY ROLEX ROLEX ROLEX
Still wear my Casino Bubble on occasion. Tempted to pick up a Paiste cymbal bubble.
Great video. Corum is one of those brands I've heard of but never invested too much time looking at, so it was interesting to get a quick recap of one of its more popular collections.
The Chorum bubble review you did last year was so good.

All those high end quartz watches to review...never mind, here's a watch with a skull...
That is super cool... Man, I want a skull watch collection... Aventi and now Corum... *stares into empty wallet*
Not a fan generally, but for the Joker Big Bubble 52 which is actually quite cool I'd say.
When you have $4,000 and your choice is between a Grand Seiko or this monstrosity which I'm calling the Grand Invicta.
Yep, just buy a SBGM221. No contest
i remember seeing same watch at walmart few years back for $10
After I finally get my Navitimer later this year I am all in to the world of mad watches and the bubble is on my list. The Tiger one.

Is there a required minimum number of tattoos one must have in order to own this watch?
You did it! You didn't mention the R word at all. Great job boys!

Gave thumbs up cause the title didnt mentioned Rolex
Not for me. The only one on this theme I really like is the Romain Jerome "dia de los muertos", due to its shape and colorful dial :)
This watch sends shivers down your spine
This episode should have been called "Are Rolex bringing out a skeletonised watch?"
lol, thank you for the history lesson.
"Muertos, Dia de los Muertos".
lol.
Why am I under the impression that Corum is an expensive brand & that their Bubbles would cost in the tens of thousands of $?
I'm literally gobsmacked to hear the price of this, just $4000!!
Perfect watch for a Radiologists
Love it how people do not want Rolex videos but most of the comments have the word Rolex ref.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤷🏼
Insane looking Rolex alternative!
FINALLY A VIDEO WITHOUT ROLEX IN TITLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I almost bought a bubble bat many years ago , don't like skulls.
Just ordered mine. Of course, I’m a Neuroradiologist
The watch for who has everything or knows nothing about watches....well said!
Interesting watch! Too big for my 6.5 inch wrist though
If there is some most repeated theme when it comes to dials which simply ruins the watch for me it's skull.
More scary than beautiful....
I absolutely love watches like these. I cant afford them to be honest but if I did, I would pick up some of these crazy ones alongside to some classics from Rolex and Omega 😍

A bold and creepy move Corum…let’s see if it pays off for them.
would have thought of it if it was around half the current price.
Watchfinder, selling me watch then refusing me the watch to try to upsell me a more expensive watch
I'm wondering where the Hublot adjacent hate is.
Thanks for the fun video!
If I owned this watch, I would call it "Bones"
The perfect watch for a CIA agent.
I have enough trouble with what's going on in my own skull let alone what's going on with one to be worn on the wrist. I guess I'm in two minds on this watch.

Will this fit my 5 inch wrist?
if only they had invited Nick Shabazz on here, he could have brought his Z Hunter
they didn't did an effort for the mouvement..😶 even not decorated..if they putted a real in house mouvement into it will maybe worth the money..

Quite frankly I hate the skull on it 😅 It just looks weird, but everything else about the watch seems cool and fun
Nice.
The Yale.
I agree that it's good that these exist, but damn, that's an ugly watch from an ugly collection!
The skeletonized version is more of my taste in all honesty
My daughter wants one. The price is a little OMG! Still, she doesn't want car...........
I wouldn't buy it, but I'm so glad they make it

Bienvenidos a 1001 formas en las que un gringo pronuncia mal "Día de los Muertos" 😁
Peculiar? Yes, for sure. Most insane watch in the world? Not even close.....
I was wondering. Do you think this watch is going to be a Rolex killer? lol
Just teasing!
Oooooo I want one, but that 4000 price tag, shaves some coolnes off it....or does it.....???🤔
I'm loving this.
Fun. But I would be bored quickly and then? It is not a watch you can enjoy for a lifetime nor does it a every day watch
It’s like WHAT THE F*****dge
Thats really scool!
Muertos... dia de muertos 😎. Loved it!
This isn't even the most insane watch that Corum makes, never mind in the world.
TBH it's pretty cheap for a Corum. When they said $4000 I thought it was a mistake at first
Why does Johnny Depp spring to mind?
yeah but what does this have to do with Rolex?
Ah Corum, never knowingly out uglied, the Hublot of horror. I remember the first Corum hype piece the Admirals Cup. The only yaching watch uglier than the Rolex Yachtmaster🤣🤣🤣🤣 (That shoulda been the clickbait!)

If I remember correctly 666 of these were made in honor of satan. That’s just funny to me. They sure are edgy over there at Corum.
isn't a skull a bit silly nowaday? can't they go full Baal, Moloch or at least Baphomet?
Dibs
The watch for the man who has everything...
...But taste*
Different!
70th birthday watch
But why should I buy this instead of a Rolex?
“Rolex if was cool”
HYT better imo
I didn’t watch this video because Rolex wasn’t in the title
