OK, so many people here are making misinformed comments that I'm going to post this top-level instead rather than responding to each one individually. Being on a mobility scooter (or even in a regular manually-propelled or motorised wheelchair) doesn't automatically mean you're totally unable to walk (or indeed jump over a fence). Rather, it means you either can't walk for long distances, experience pain or discomfort when walking any or long distances, or experience extreme fatigue after walking any or long distances. Basically, it's not (always) about you being unable to do things, it's about doing those things having negative consequences on your wellbeing or health. Additionally, there is no reason to automatically assume that woman was on disability benefits anyway.

We get the Family Variety meal from Willerby Pappas all the time. It is terrific value. We sometimes go to the restaurant as well, and the young staff are very polite and efficient. They do a wonderful job of training their staff. Do I think that they are the world's best fish and chips: No, the batter is to heavy for my taste.

Anywhere in my town in Northern Ireland that would be £30 I kid you not. Two large portions of chips like that would be £10. Two pieces of fish, pff, probably about £12 these days. Three sides another £5-6. Two battered sausages £3, two fish cakes and "hull patties" another £7-8 and then £1.50 for a bottle of water (or diet coke). So that's actually closer to £40
Pollards plaice also do special patties that are not on the menu, cheese and onion, corned beef or chorizo patties! Gorgeous everything cooked in beef dripping 😛
I've just looked at the menu, know way can all that food come to £15.00. The shop must have either calculated the meals wrong or saw him arriving in his advertised van and gave him a special deal. Come on where can you get half that food for £15.00.
Bella, thats exactly what I thought and Ive also left a comment stating virtually the same as you. Once they saw who he was they definitely gave him double sized portions. Unreal!

Grew up with amazing FnC. Was heartbreaking moving to Manchester. Fiddlers in Reddish made me sick.
Fleetwood not like is was 40 years ago.
The War on Cod!!!
Went to Steels in Grimsby. Had a good reminder of how it used to taste. Pricey but nicey.
You are lucky being a Yorkie as beef dripping is awesome!!!
Looks Mega value at Papa's and Irish curry is great!
Everything looks delicious Danny,l can’t believe how cheap it was for all that food.😋👍
Try Leyland Cross Chippy in Leyland Lancs. Chips, Small Fish, Peas and pot of tea. Sit in £4-90. It is a very little fish portion but still amazing value.
All meals are superb and great value.
9:30 - Danny: "You're all gonna carry on...look at that he's taking two car parking spots here, three with the van!"
Trolls: "Danny is clearly such an utterly evil man, he's taking three car parking spots AND NOW HE'S EVEN MOCKING US AS WELL!!!"
😂
Such great bloke danny is that's why I watch. He gives me a dose of laughter everything 😂
Gotta love Danny, reviewing fish and chip restaurants whilst exposing benefit fraud!!
She could've give Jessie Owens a run for his money 🏃♀️
she was quite spritely
doesn't mean she's on benefits though.
Seether99, pasting this from elsewhere:
Being on a mobility scooter (or sometimes even in a regular wheelchair) doesn't necessarily mean you're totally unable to walk. Rather, it means you either can't walk for long distances, experience pain or discomfort when walking any distance, or experience extreme fatigue after walking any distance.
@LH "Yeah I know" (Andy Pipkin)
Such authentic happiness, welcome and joy. What the world needs now is ........
Bet them young uns were shocked to open their free fish and chips to discover half eaten and torn apart food scraps......
I was thinking the same
Covid ? Soon forgotten about.
We were married there..... upstairs in the restaurant 👍🏾 it was great. My wife came up to the song by the Flamingos " I only have eyes for you "
That was a super nice thing he did ❤️❤️ !! Giving the food to those young kids.
He should have given them the two boxes of chips that he barely touched, not the half eaten, chewed up other two boxes of stuff. Seriously, gross. What the heck was he thinking handing them his entire half eaten meal?
In the USA we squeeze lemon 🍋 tartar sauce and ketchup on haddock. The curry, peas and gravy are new to me , must try it! Great review!
This team is smashing it the amount of content he gets out every week is mad! Come down to golden cue in Bilston Dan on. A Friday for a brekkie special. Love the videos Dan
What a smart grandmother. She's got a mobile scooter to get around. Better than a car if it's for a local trip, safer than a motor cycle. It allows her to get out and about. No wonder she's so jolly.
DLA payments ending imminently ♿️
Not only does he do reviews, he can also cure dis-abled passers by!!
🤣😂 naughty 😋
are you sure about that?...well they certainly won't starve LOL.
Like Andy from Little Britain
I'm not sure if you're being serious or not, but just in case you are: being on a mobility scooter (or sometimes even in a regular wheelchair) doesn't mean you're totally unable to walk. Rather, it means you either can't walk for long distances, experience pain or discomfort when walking any distance, or experience extreme fatigue after walking any distance.
@@LHyoutube Looked pretty nimble to me!!
We get the Family Variety meal from Willerby Pappas all the time. It is terrific value. We sometimes go to the restaurant as well, and the young staff are very polite and efficient. They do a wonderful job of training their staff. Do I think that they are the world's best fish and chips: No, the batter is to heavy for my taste.
think we will try the drivethrough next time. Have visited the one in Cleethorpes a number of times and been very happy the one we visited in Hull before Christmas (not sure which one) was a disappointment if I'm honest. Your meal looked a lot nicer than ours.
There's one in willerby that has drive though but they have bigger store at kingswood that used be pub it has soft play area for kids to play in
10:48 fart noise. Perfect timing plus superb reasoning and inference of invective. Gold star. Ten points.
Looks great for the money Danny big respect giving the food away at the end they was buzzing. The guy on the window was a credit to them. The women on the mobo was bouncing lol
How are the kids Danny? Loved seeing your frank son and beautiful daughter here in Torrance, CA. Nowhere in the states do we have those huge fillets y’all get with your fish and chips. Ours are woeful by comparison. How do you make mushy peas? Just mash up green peas.?
Hardest working UA-camr! Great content as ever Dan. Great review.❤
You taking the piss there, 1036 ? ( I'm sure he likes his work, mind.)
Love it ! As I was born in Hull , well I'm pleased you tried the patty ! And I'm shouting at the telly ...get some curry on it ! And you only tried peas and gravy lol 😆.... Yer patty chips curry in breadcake ... An East Hull school lunch in the park classic!
Got to be the best value for money fish and chips in the country, can't believe you would get that much food for that price anywhere else in UK
So that's actually closer to £40
there not going to give the average person 2 sets of chips
this guy's energy makes me immediately love him, and like and subscribe to him, your positivity is inspiring.
The guy who served you is called matty he’s a lovely young lad
Pollards plaice also do special patties that are not on the menu, cheese and onion, corned beef or chorizo patties! Gorgeous everything cooked in beef dripping 😛
The woman was miraculously cured
The power of Yorkshire fish n chips, 2084 !! Mother who ?
@@blackbob3358 Mother Hubbards, clap her cupboards!
I came to see the meal and I am enjoying listening to the accent 😊18 minutes into video and I am getting very hungry
Unreal!
bella, you wouldn't believe what they do for £15.99. 4x fish 2x chips and most of them extras. it's obscene up here. just moved from norwich where a large cod is £9
It was a family meal
Hi,when you go on holiday to Paignton,in Devon ,try Scoffs fish and chips ,only the dogs jewels. The fish is to die for .
Leonie was like Usain Bolt getting off her mobility scooter!!!
Brilliant editing and camera work there danny, camera man is Quality👏👏👏👏
what an absolute legend this bloke. Always cracks me up when he gets out the table LMAO
I live in South Africa and so will probably never have the pleasure of trying out the places on this channel, but I just love this.
Really entertaining videos mate, keep them coming.
Don’t worry your food is better than ours! 😂😂
Really impressive to see young people who can speak 'English', with manners. Excellent value for money, food looks very reasonable. I would be there everyday if I lived local.
9:36 tabel set up.
14:17 £13.99 fodo arrives.
24:19 whistle wetted.
Danny please try Seafish at conisbrough nr Doncaster. The large fish is amazing and you won't be disappointed. Love you're videos and think you're amazing xx
You just can't find grub like that outside of the UK. Makes my mouth water just looking at it. Nice one Danny!! That would cost $50 easy.
Can't speak for the US, but here in Albion, the competition is savage. Where i live, Bradford, you get 5/6 takeaways in the space of 100 yds. Most of 'em shite, like, but there is good places that can be "weeded out". Gagging for a Korma, now .
@@blackbob3358 I’m in British Columbia Canada and we have great fish but Canadian folk are scared to death of anything deep fried. They treat fish and chips like a weird kind of foreign food. No corner chippies or meat pies over here sadly
The food looks amazing, and the value for money is outstanding. Down south, we pay upwards of £10 for cod and chips alone!
£9 large cod alone in norwich
Best 15quids worth of fish and chips I've ever seen
I would be lucky to get 10euro for a box of haddock
Anstruther fish bar bast in Britain
