My father had 3 kids by 3 different women, of course one of my siblings from my father has me and two other sisters who each have different fathers, and of course my sister too, same. Nobody has the same . Not one of us on either side. I would never do that to a child

She needs to step outside of her shame and into her truth. The truth will always set you free, not the lies. You can tell there are certain things about her past that she hasn’t accepted or is ashamed of, look how uptight she is on the subject matter. You can’t raise your son in the fullness of who he is, if you’re still running from your shadows. Own it, forgive it, keep rising.

As a mother with a young son it was hard for me to step back and let his step father raise him equally as I have at first. I tried to play the father roll for him but I’m just NOT a father. I did what I could. I wanted to protect and be mama bear but that wasn’t teaching him the skills he would need in his future. Once I let go of my ego and swallowed my pride I am now able to watch them two form this incredible bond that only a father and son could have. The best decision I ever made. My daughters also have an incredible man that teaches them how to be treated by loving their mother unconditionally. I love Judge Mathis for always pointing out these things. Sometimes it’s hard to hear something about yourself but once we know better we must do better.

My mom took me to open a bank account then she went and took my money because she needed it without letting me know until I brought something up about getting it. That wasn't cool to do it in that way. I don't care what it was needed for I worked for it. I may have been a minor but a simple conversation about what she was doing would have went over better than her just taking it.

So I have mixed feelings about this case. I feel the man did the best he could when he got out of prison. The mother seems bothered and I understand why. While be was in prison the child was all on her. She put in all the work and it's like she's angry and hurt. It's like hes popping in when the job is half over and because they live in different states she still carries a lot of the responsibility. She needs to let that go and heal. Get counseling. I just see hurt all over her. She needs to realize her son is hurting too and she needs to address that before it's too late. She needs to encourage her son to build a healthy relationship with his father.

It's a shame that the mother seems too overwhelmed to articulate herself. He needed to be in the court to get this full experience. He needed to learn that his momma ain't a saint she's been a liar and he needs to see and feel all that comes with it so he can break that generation curse and be a different man to his woman and kids when the time comes. Now he knows if he has any doubt he should take a test immediately. And sadly he has learned his momma ain't no saint and is responsible for the discrepancy of paternity.

That Momma has got to keep her thoughts to herself. Many of us Moms have been in her shoes. Its not easy to keep quiet. Let the father/son thing happen and we keep on being the Mom's that keep it all together. We were born for this, keeping a family strong. Your children will thank you later for keeping any negativity about their other parent to yourself.

The fact that he stood by his father speaks volumes. Sometimes parents can spew a bad story about the other parent out of hurt or being vindictive.
PSHats off to the dad for refusing to reimburse his son. Far too many entitled/spoiled behaviors from children these days.

The first thing out her mouth was about money. She had no right to drag her son through this she should have did a dna test before introducing her son to this man or allowing her son to be in contact with him. My heart aches for this young man and he didn’t deserve to hear her trifling axx testimony. I wish that young man all the success and joy in life because his mother is a piece of work.

She knew but was scared for her and her baby so she lied to one man not the other cus she knew what she did and who she did it with and when and she was right 🤷🏼‍♀️ When he said he had him for two summers I was like okay and what else 😭 normally he tells ppl yow you have kids you have to find the money and I feel like there’s so much lenience on fathers they can do the bare minimum and get off but the moms do the most and still get shamed for their flaws.

She seems like the type to poison her son against the father. She’s emotional and so the son is emotional. That’s why the son keeps looking down. The son keeps making the same face as his mother. Women like this debilitate their sons. At the very end, she says question for who when we all heard her say out the other side of her mouth, she told TWO MEN, they were the father.
