- Опубліковано 6 сер 2020
- This episode we leave Carnarvon and drive to Warroora Station, we setup the caravan right on the beach at 14 Mile camp.
We spend 3 days whale, shark and turtle watching from our camp site, and Cam gets lucky hooking a big fish from the rocks!
Next episode we are in Exmouth, catching up with Tiffs parents. We get out on Tiffs' dads boat and manage to fill the freezer with fish!
Cheers guys!
Cam, Tiff and Chloe.

just goes to show everyone out there on youtube land, people can make great content with out resorting to drinking 50 beers with the boys and what beer is what and being drunk asf on camera. Great video.
Loving Saturday mornings.!!!
Looks fantastic guys!!! Enjoy
smiles allround,happy family man
This is such an awesome adventure series Cam n Tiff, you make us feel like we are actually there. Cam with regards to the fishing mate, a bad day fishing still beats a great day at work hands down! Looking forward to the next episode...
Always loved the videos you put out, now they are getting better, Ian.
Loving your videos
Down to earth and very informative
Just great normal people doing the lap 👍
ps great fish 🎣
Hey Cam, love your series, would have been there if only the border wasn’t locked. Had an issue with my new Tvan, stove couldn’t even cook toast! Solved it by upsizing the gas line and slightly increasing the gas regulator pressure. Worked a treat. Cheers.
Another ripper guys! Loving seeing your perspective on things, and tips on the vans a bonus!
some very cool stuff there!! Great video guys
Just loving this series... that spot 🙌. I’m loving getting a real feel for what it would be like to travel in a van. Love the cooking as well. Can’t wait for next episode
Great story and video. Keen to see the new videos
we are so lucky to be in such magnificent country.
Good fish of the rocks for sure.
and yes Chloe is very cute.
Love that little fire place you have . Glad to see nothing has gone to much wrong with the van . Cheers 🍻
Another great episode mate. So great to see the family enjoying the trip!!
I cant believe you trusted Gary to have anything to do with your fish....I was sure he was going to rub your line across the rock and lose your fish - I hope you treated him to a fish wrap!
Thanks for another entertaining video. The photography is great with such incredible colours and scenery. Safe travels.
14 mile beach is awesome, was there a few years ago... although once the southerly kicks in the afternoon it can be pretty intense
Great work guys keep it going 👍
Well I’ve been following your journey and not only hooking a great fish it’s also hooked me on the 13+ and the WA coast so I’m keen to on the road cheers guys love the video’s keep them coming
Good work mate, enjoy every bit of it 🤙😁🇦🇺

Living the life , what a great way to live . Good fish too . Loving the vids

GREAT video gang, LOVE the scenery and the colour of the water was amazing. Thanks and safe travels - Peter V.
Another great episode 👌🏻 Glad to hear you guys haven’t had too many issues with the camper. Been look at them for a while wondering what the quality is like 👌🏻👍🏻
Best caravan series on UA-cam I like the realness👊
Awesome stuff guys. Geeze Garry was worried the fish was going to get away lol. Careful on the rocks mate in the all terrain thongs. Safe travels legends 👍🏻🍻🍻🍻🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Great stuff guys. I’ve been to 14 mile a few times and it’s an absolutely amazing spot.
Another great video. What an awesome beach camp!
I work with similar vans for a living. The shower issue is possibly in the drain part, if its anything like what ive got theres 3ish peices to it witch restricts the flow to drain. The dust in the fridge slide would be some holes in the chassis closet to the slide. Fill with expanding foam. And change the flame size nozzle on the stove. We have the same stove and that fixed the issue. Also the tires are decent. I use them on my own 4x4 i get them cheap we have the same suppliers and ive gotten 50xxx out of them so far with no issues or flats with still 50% left
Another option that may / may not work, is to mock up individual wind guards for each burner. Similar to egg rings but wider, could make out of used Baked Bean Cans as a quick fix. Loving your videos guys, safe travels.
Thanks for the tips!
Yeah ‘lock tight’ is your friend when traveling in a caravan. Nathan makes great canvas bags Iv got two and almost 3 years in they’re still going strong. Great video but hated it at the same time, soooo jealous, being in lockdown sucks nuts! 👍
Thanks for the review, enjoyed the vid, and the fish.
Good quality vids. And inspirational. Can't wait to get out there myself. Until then, keep 'em coming. Thanks.
Great vid guy's that beach and water looked awesome,we will definitely be making our over to the west in the near future, look forward to your next vid enjoy your adventures and I look forward to your youg one catching her first fish.
Hi Guys, Just started watching your adventures. Looking at buying the van Forbes 15l. It is great that you show the problems you have as it will help people in the future. Will continue to watch your episodes from the start. Look forward to see the fun and any problems you have as you both show the real side of camping. great to have a young fella show us oldies how to go.
Appreciate the kind words, thank you for the support! The Forbes are a great hybrid, you won’t go wrong with one.
Another good vid as usual
Nice open review on the van
Love the no bullshit way you tell it 👌
Be careful along our coast. King waves come out of nowhere - even on quite calm seas. Enjoying your presentation and videography.
Another awesome video guys. So jealous it's not us. Great review on van, have just had friends of ours buy same model! Awesome fish to!🐟. See you next Saturday.👍👍
Keep up the great job guys really enjoyed it 👍👍👍👍👍
Ripper series and it’s the only 4wd and camping series the mrs will sit down and gladly watch with me too! We’re def planning a trip to wa on the bucket list. Love the realness of the vids and the family! Can’t wait for the next ep! 👌
Nice one guys, great catch Cam👍
Wonderful outback video! I loved it! I Love Australia! Aloha from San Diego California.
Squidly diddly you lucky bugger, they cook up brilliantly. I first had some when Dick Hawes shared breakfast at South End about 1970, unforgettable when fresh.
Epic spot! Nice fish too. Received our stickers ✌️
Fishing result! Awesome. Cheers guys
Hi, I am new to your channel got to episode 3 & subscribed I am so impressed with your content Chloe is a hit she is really switched on . My grandchild lives in NSW & we are in SA so your channel is so family orientated & enjoyable , sites in WA looks awesome, hubby & I will have to cross the Nullabor soon in the future when we are able too.
Happy travels & stay safe! 😎👍
Spangled emperor taste as good as any other fish, love them.
love that hat holder what a great idea .... pinching that idea for sure
Great videos Cam and Tiff :) loving the little quip's from Chloe as well :) I had the wife watch this episode with me and she loved it too..... I'm trying to slowly get her around to the thought of changing out our Camper Trailer for a Caravan ;) Cheers, Don (Dons Shed and Xplor Overland)
Great video guys. Very jealous. Travel safe
Fantastic episode
Hi Guys loving the content and the laid back style looks like you have found the travel grove ....
That camping spot at the beach looks awesome
Another awesome video 👍 great information
Damn what a fish! 🎣 living the dream mate. 👌
Great video once again guys, great to see you having a good time.
MDC Camper Trailers & Offroad Caravans cheers guys 😊
good review of the van guys, i am thinking of buying one of these and like the honest review. alot of people expect to buy a van and nothing go wrong with it for years which we know is unrealistic.
Safe travels mate, love the videos
классно отдыхаете и рыбачьте...молодцы
Lov the video Cam 👍👍👍
Beach front access - million dollar block! Amazing
Top vid as always
Love the video, unlucky you couldn't use your drone, that beach and the blue turquoise color sea looked amazing, WA definitely in my bucket list.
Great job again
Who's the dad? Cam's the Dad! Dolly driving the car, fishing with Chloe, that's what life's about 😂
Loving the videos
We had an outside kitchen too, very difficult to get the stove to work in a breeze, we ended buying one of those little stoves and bottles of gas worked a treat and we could use it indoors in rainy days to book the kettle etc, shouldn’t use indoors but we kept an eye on it.
I know everyone is saying it. But great vlog. Feel like we are there with you. And it such good honest reviews tips and stunning footage. Great fish too. Keep me rolling in.
Oh
And Tiff great call on not Ads in the middle of you vlog. It would drive me insane.
Nice fish mate. Great vid
Looks awesome there :)
Love it.
That sunset 👌
Yes, new subscriber here and follower on IG 🙌
Cheers mate! 👍🏼
You can remove a lot of bumps by lowering your tyre pressure when you get off the tarmac. Dirt and corrugation can easily be made safer and much more comfortable at 30psi. 25psi for rockier terrain is good too. Great looking spot on the water, amazing blue water :)
Thanks guys, great vid :) Added it to our list of spots to visit on Wikicamps.
So beautiful! I live in California and would love to camp on the beach like that.
We do this every holiday in Australia,
There's alot of country to cover but sooo spectacular and beach camping is one of my favs
Great vid, I looking forward to following your trip. I think the gas regulator is faulty. I had the same issue with mine on my camper. Replace with another one from any caravan shop and you should be cooking with gas.
Been waiting for this!
Geez, they really cram them in on the beach. Looks like a caravan park, only with a better view. Thousands of miles of coastline and yet people still have to be so close you can hear them break wind ... We were going to go up there but now I think we will look for somewhere we can get a bit further away from other campers. Nice emperor, one of my favourite eating fish.
Try and find a booking anywhere up north at the moment, it is impossible!
Hi. I just fitted blue strip lights with a switch next to the bed. Nice mood. The canvas. If you need it fixed or changed bags n swags Victoria. The lady great. Outside I got 44 key strip lights weatherproof. I seen a video with Velcro and rubber. They put it on when needed. Remember the law. Your for service. If handle broke then they need to fix free of charge. Its a nice van and a good pick. It looks like a great trip. Good to see you daughter with a rod with dad. I just bought a wind gen. I let you know how it went. Also got a beach shade from snowys outdoor. Fiesta I think. Good size and i sit under it when fishing. Planning to hit the road 2022. Keep your eye out on aldi camping specials. They come in spring. You do great video's Thank You. Russell
I found blue light a feet level and above with a switch the top ones in. There both controlled from the bed. The main power to them lights. So when some wants to get up it's a lower level light. I have got the oztrail 25 watt pole light snowys outdoors. I can not comment yet about it but not a bad light in low to no wind. Check out lock your hubs. The high lift Jack. I did the handle mod. But cut on end on a angle and use it as a stake for the light and i made a post on draw bar for same light when ground hard. Check your fitting on waste. It could be reduced. It should drain down large. Also tank breather. That comes to my water tank breather. I have fitted a children sock as a filter. These are my tips. You will have ideas.
You have the mansion on Wheels Congratulations won a subscriber. Brazil
👏
Nice catch mate!
Re the Cel Fi, I had to put my antenna on the roof rack and turn 3G in rather than auto. Works well, but you need a good antenna and high
Sense of Adventure good to hear I have been contemplating doing that
Beautiful
Life’s good ain’t it ! 👍🍻
So envy you guys.
What an awesome name for a doll, Annabelle 😂
She comes along everywhere with us 😂😂
We had the same problem with our stove. What I found is that any stove that is regulated is low pressure and blows out with relative ease. We swapped for a good 2 burner camp stove (no reg, so high pressure) and all is great.
I was about to buy a touring 4X4 when the S*** hit the fan,(is in Vic), and you videos are my only escape. I am jealous.
Hope it blows over for you guys as quick as it started!
i bet soon you guyes will habe 20k subs welldone guyes
Love the extra shade cloth off the awning. Maybe deeper back in the comments but keen to know what you did there. We are getting our Forbes 12 + at the end of March. Love your work
You'll love the Forbes mate! It's a 2.85 Camp Smart XD shade wall to suit 4mm sail track.

Looks amazing. Maybe get induction cook top. They use little current and cook fast.
I had one, left it at home because I didn't think we would need it, doh!
try and check the pressure valve on the gas bottle it could be stuck or the wrong type !!!! you can get it replaced by a gas installer
Get yourself a Coleman Fyreknight two burner cooker. Won't have any wind issues.
We invite you to visit Saudi Arabia for tourism. It has magical places and a beautiful atmosphere. Hot, cold and gentle areas, terrain, plateaus, mountains, desert, and valleys. And the good people who welcome everyone.
these canvas bin bags look like they are nice and tough.
Those pm canvas bags are so tough I’ve had mine full of fire wood on the gibb river and they still didn’t split lol .....
Nice fish👍
Maybe the wind comes up underneath the burner?
Check for kinks in outlet of shower and we bought a misting shower head which works a treat
Also if going to grey tank it may need a breather as it could be causing airlock
Hey guys thanks for the videos I have my Forbes 13 order and awaiting its arrival. Quick question, what are you using for your wind break/awning wall off the front of the awning is that just a blue mesh that you have used or something specific for the van? Also, I’m still making my way through your videos but did you ever sort out the issue with the gas cooker was there an issue or just something you learnt to live with? Thanks guys keep up the good work
Hey Cam, have you downloaded the app for the Cel Fi? If so, just set it to either 3G or 4G. I set mine at 3g so I can get calls when I am driving, but switch it to 4G if I need it for data in camp. Auto miode is hopeless. I use mine all the time and its briliant!
Hey mate had the same issue with my cooker and just turned the regulator up which solved it. Hopefully that will work for you as well! Enjoy the trip
And a wind shield for the front for when she’s really blowing!
Youtubing that now 😂 will give it a go!
great videos mate, please keep them coming :)
Just wondering in general how long it is between when you upload the video and when you filmed the footage? like is this all during WA winter?
Nick C thanks! we were there 2 weeks ago, end of July.
2:05 interesting. My golden speed on the GRR was 65 Km/h on 19" wheels (255/55) towing D.O.T 157
