2 Minute Tutorial: Twin Pass Band Tuning (PBT Knob) on Icom 7300

- Filtering out interference from adjacent signals is not a requirement of using an HF radio, but it certainly can make listening a lot more enjoyable. The Twin Pass Band (passband?) Tuning knob allows you to really zero in on the signal you want to hear, and minimize those pesky side conversations. The Icom 7300 is a real champ at easily allowing you to make the most of these filters.
This video is a part of my Ham Radio 2 minute tutorial series on how to use the Icom 7300. The goal of this video isn't to cover every single aspect of the radio, nor to do it in-depth. Rather, the purpose is to help new operators see the potential functions and get a basic lay of the land. There are many excellent videos on UA-cam that cover these topics in greater detail and you should certainly check them out too.

You explained that nice! I always loved iCOM just for that PBT the Day it came out. The IC-7300 is all it takes to have fun from 1,8 - 70mhz. Happy weekend & 73's de Uncle Günter
