Tuning a late model Dodge, Jeep or Chrysler ECU? Artificial Neural Network, aka ANN is a term you will have to become familiar with.
Previously it has been difficult for aftermarket tuners to learn how to deal with some aspects of Dodge tuning and the ANN with even paid education providers simply telling people to multiply maps by 1.3 with no actual educational explanation, however, with tools like HP Tuners Artificial Neural Network Trainer there is no need for guesswork any longer.
💻 Using VCM Editor and VCM Scanner software to tune a HEMI V8, let's examine the wrong and correct ways of doing this and learn why we can't just use Volumetric Efficiency (VE) outright, as we do with many other tuning applications.

That’s why when you take your time and do a tune correct. And set all the scalings and compensations correct. It will run like stock or way better, but use the stock parameters rescaled for the new power level. Tuning this way can yield great benefits.
Thank you HPA for getting into Gen3 Hemi tuning. I purchased the module INSTANTLY as soon as I saw it available. While I've not gotten into it yet because my buddy's 6.4L Apache is still coming together - I fully trust y'all to lay out it there in a credible way. There is very little credible intel out there on tuning these PCMs. Anyone decent at it is fully unwilling to share details. I was dreading having to muddle my way through it solo.

I once started developing my own nn to use as a plant model to than tune my pid boost control, didn't end all that well as my dataset wasn't big enough so the network got very biased and was having big errors in verification datasets, but seeing it's used in the industry as a defacto control strategy it gives me a confidence boost to retry it 😊

My main question is why?
VE tables of 5, 10 etc has not been nothing new in many European ecu's for the last 10 years, maybe more.
Why the added complexity? Is easier for the oem to tune?
And i thought Bosch was the king of overcomplicating things.
If someone can shed a light on this.

And buld a manachice cource with litature along with you tunner couece and get couages have your people train people on training teachers that can have teaching your cources at multi colleges and meep doing youtube videos and get your colldge coudrse and teaching teachers inperson clases andvsince they knowageable on manachenics already you jusft expande the knowage to the whole car and diesel inderesty and if this possable new money source was worth a vip membershil and you end up making it super rich i happy for you all i want the membership give kf it makes you that amount mjnus expencives i only want it if i helped you and kt made you the amount that it membedship costed
