My grandma used to sing this to me and I was just randomly singing it in a completely different way and then I’m like hmm I wonder what the original sounds like. Beautiful

My mom was 98 and suffered from dementia. Yet she always sang this song and remembered the words. Even in her death bed, she was singing it before she peacefully closed her eyes and died. She was almost 99. So glad I found this song because my mom at her age, had a beautiful voice and sang it just as sweet. ❤😊
My Dad used to sing this and taught me it. He sadly died at the age of 89 in July xx
