I think you are wrong there. GM EV sales are up 60% year over year. The Prologue is over 3% of Honda sales which is very nice start with nearly 3900 sales last month.
Overall for the lease price - WOW! The “Cons” for me would be a fairly “plain-Jane” interior. (and yes I have sat in one at my local Honda dealer), and no front trunk. But the “Pros” to me is the exterior design, and definitely that is has Apple Car Play where the Blazer does not! Being this is a GM product and Honda will more than likely come out with their own EV in a couple of years I would certainly lease this way over buying it! But then I would never (at this point) buy an EV and then worry about the battery longevity years later.
It is a stop gap dead end product. Honda buyers know this isn’t really a Honda and probably won’t be supported in 10 years. I’m sure Honda buyers have zero enthusiasm for buying a GM product.
People tend to buy Japanese, lease European. Though this one will have questionable reliability bc of its shared parts with GM, so maybe leasing makes sense? As long as youre not putting more than a couple thousand down…
Sure thing! The Honda Civic is a compact car that's been around for decades. It's known for its reliability, fuel efficiency, and overall value. The newer models come with advanced safety features, modern tech like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a sleek design.
It's so surprising that these things are selling like crazy and people don't even realize they're driving a GM product with a honda badge on it. That just prove that people aren't smart enough to know the difference between those two brands. They only go after badges. Honda because of long term reliability. Don't worry, when those GMs recall, it's going to affect the honda as well.
I'm sure there's some people that bought the Honda Prologue not knowing it's a GM. I think most buyers are watching at least one UA-cam review about the Prologue before the purchase and every review mentions the GM underpinnings numerous times in every video. Some could have snapped their Ridgeline's in half while towing an 18,000 lb gooseneck trailer out their driveway and said 'heck with Honda', and got a Silverado Duramax dually instead .... (not all GM products bad). Joking aside, some couldn't care less, or possibly prefer, that it's a GM vehicle and really like the nice body and interior made by Honda. I'm not a Honda fan but I think the Prologue looks great!
that text on the back is SO UGLY. its a deal killer for me. i normally love text on the back, take porsche's lightbars for example, but this font is HORRIBLE

Hopefully y'all get to do an updated Honda Civic Hybrid video soon! Curious to see the sound level reading!
Sadly nobody wants an EV Honda with GM parts already so many other car manufacturers produce a bunch of EVs even Tesla dropped their price.

It has GM parts, but has anyone said it's a bad or unreliable car?
LOL thank frickin god Honda used GM parts. Or else we'd have a Honda named something stupid like HDCV with the range and performance of a BZ4X 💀🤣

My question is, how much to lease an Elite?
Excellent review guys!😸

Bad seller, making a good lease deal. 😊
It still sells. Last month they sold 3.7K. Still a GM product.

The exterior is nice, interior is worse than the equinox ev
Well, given that it is really a GM under that Honda-esque skin, it was the lease the could do. 🤣
Actually, the Honda website says $259/mo for EX AWD.
Lease
Expires: 10/31/24
2024 Prologue AWD EX
$259/mo for 36 mos
Details
$2,999 due at signing¹
Putting thousands down on a lease is idiotic. What’s the price change to if you just put $500-1000 down? How many miles is that for per year?
GM parts killed it for me.
And people are getting them.
What you get is a GM. We’re Honda people, we went to the Asian products to get away from the domestic junk. Leaving the review now!
Need to go with Elite to get a heated steering wheel and can't even get one on a top Civic. Honda's packaging is terrible.

Problem is Honda no longer has long-term reliability. They are like #17 with Lexus being #1. Couple that with Government Motors junk.
Bro GM is way more reliable than Honda 😂
@@MrLatinBeard GM is ranked along with Ford, Stellantis, and Tesla. Complete junk.
@@darkivaz-aaa1145 in which one? Your personal ranking? 😂
Thats cuz its a Chevy and cuz EV's are FLOPS
Another overpriced ev and another miss from Honda.

I think they went retro from the 60’s and 70’s.
