I love my EX, but you gotta admit the sound from the stereo sucks ass. The drop off from the 12 speaker Bose with a subwoofer Touring to the 6 generic speaker EX is ridiculous....
@@ChandlerSchroeder they do. There are 2.75" pair in the dash, a pair of 6x9's in the front doors and a pair of 6.5" in the rear doors. Very weak indeed, I'm gonna replace them myself to try to get a little more oomph out of them.
The recent lease deals are great way to go especially if you can careless about tax credits, being an owner of the car and do not want worry about resale haggles at end of lease term.
Does anyone have any experience with leasing a Honda or any brand I guess? I was told by someone of the dealership that it is basically impossible to go upside down on a lease. They said, as long as the car is not damaged and you stay within the parameters of the lease at the end of the lease. You can just turn it in and not pay anything or buy it if you decide you want to purchase it. I'm trying to get out of a car that I'm upside down and right now.
Not up to date info. I leased a EX version, AWD for $1000 drive away, $ 215 a month. In November 2024. All fees, doc, acq, taxes, plates and registration, and first month lease included . Dealer took $7000 federal rebate , and I got the Honda Conquest $1000 rebate too.
Maybe if they up there range to 320 would potentially go for it and need more ev stations compared to Tesla stations. I like the fact that it definitely has more cargo space then the Y
I like this vehicle so I checked Honda Canada’s website. $900.00 CDN per month on a 4 year lease with $3000.00 down at 3.9%. Limited availability also. WTF?
I think you are wrong there. GM EV sales are up 60% year over year. The Prologue is over 3% of Honda sales which is very nice start with nearly 3900 sales last month.
Overall for the lease price - WOW! The “Cons” for me would be a fairly “plain-Jane” interior. (and yes I have sat in one at my local Honda dealer), and no front trunk. But the “Pros” to me is the exterior design, and definitely that is has Apple Car Play where the Blazer does not! Being this is a GM product and Honda will more than likely come out with their own EV in a couple of years I would certainly lease this way over buying it! But then I would never (at this point) buy an EV and then worry about the battery longevity years later.
Prologue gets a lot of hate, but the cheap lease makes it attractive. Not a bad way to try one to see if the EV lifestyle is for you. If you are new to Honda, you will not notice GM controls & parts.
I am leasing the 2024 Honda Prologue Touring ($56K MSRP) for $149/mo with $1,500 drive off fees for 24 months. The residual will be $31K. Did you have trouble with the limited headroom in the 2nd row?
It is a stop gap dead end product. Honda buyers know this isn’t really a Honda and probably won’t be supported in 10 years. I’m sure Honda buyers have zero enthusiasm for buying a GM product.
Wow, Honda, really upped their game in EVs. I have a Chevy bolt with 230k miles on it, i may look into this if my car goes bad. It's so expensive though :/
@@carguyeyedoc I just got a lease deal. AWD EX. $217 a month, $1000 down. 36 months. All Fees included, reg, doc fees, acq, Sales tax, plates and 1st month lease payment. All included. 10,000 miles
I love my Prologue Elite. Its fun quiet fast and yes i know it has GM parts with Honda Technology, but thats ok cause i like both. EV saves my hundreds of dollars in gas from my Beast 2016 Chevy Silverado Silverado
Sure thing! The Honda Civic is a compact car that's been around for decades. It's known for its reliability, fuel efficiency, and overall value. The newer models come with advanced safety features, modern tech like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a sleek design.
This is a stop gap EV. This is a product Honda is using to fill the current gap in the market their customers are wanting while they are finishing development on their own in house EV battery, motor and chassis systems. Honda's own full in house built EV's (Accord, CR-V, etc.) should be coming to market beginning the 2025/26 model year. This is not a Honda product and I hope it does not give people a sour taste for the coming future EV's.
People tend to buy Japanese, lease European. Though this one will have questionable reliability bc of its shared parts with GM, so maybe leasing makes sense? As long as youre not putting more than a couple thousand down…
The good EV lease deals are because of the tax credits, not because sales are struggling. You pay for the difference between MSRP/Sticker/agreed price down to the residual. The residual is usually in the 60-65% range. So for the lease you're paying 35-40% of the price tag. When you get a $7,500 federal tax credit, plus potential state credits, suddenly you only have to pay 20% of the sticker.
And it's not anything like a Honda. Trust me, I know. My car is 2weeks in the shop for a part that's on backorder and nobody has a clue when it's going to be in. Another one was in the shop for the same issue for over 50 days. They don't tell you it's a Chevy. And it feels as if they're trying to dump as many as possible. Leases that cheap on a brand new item is unheard of. I am the guinea pig, and warns people of this car. It's very nice to drive, the nicest Ive driven. Great car, but when the brakes have issues at 1800 miles, there's some pause for concern. Chevy has had many issues with them in the beginning, pulling them from the market.
@@TheGaryNinjaGoogle car lease brokers in your state and they will negotiate for you to get a you a better payment then you ever could. They also go to the dealership for you so you don’t get up sold. Highly recommend. Broker fee is small to only 500-750$ down.
i currently own a 2024 civic touring and went in to the dealership for an oil change and sat in this not knowing it was a GM collab and instantly could tell it’s not Honda… the fit and finish was not good at all. It felt like a fisher price toy inside.
I WOULD AVOID THIS CAR AT ALL COST! they say its a cheap lease but there are other cheaper cars equipped with a lot more. The EX model looks So basic doesn't even have 360 cameras and so on.
It's so surprising that these things are selling like crazy and people don't even realize they're driving a GM product with a honda badge on it. That just prove that people aren't smart enough to know the difference between those two brands. They only go after badges. Honda because of long term reliability. Don't worry, when those GMs recall, it's going to affect the honda as well.
I'm sure there's some people that bought the Honda Prologue not knowing it's a GM. I think most buyers are watching at least one UA-cam review about the Prologue before the purchase and every review mentions the GM underpinnings numerous times in every video. Some could have snapped their Ridgeline's in half while towing an 18,000 lb gooseneck trailer out their driveway and said 'heck with Honda', and got a Silverado Duramax dually instead .... (not all GM products bad). Joking aside, some couldn't care less, or possibly prefer, that it's a GM vehicle and really like the nice body and interior made by Honda. I'm not a Honda fan but I think the Prologue looks great!
