That's it for this ski season. We'll see you again on September 1st for an extra early start to the 23-24 season, or stick around for our summer content, coming soon. 00:00 Intro 00:41 Arapahoe Basin 02:46 Aspen Highlands 04:52 Telluride 07:25 Crested Butte 09:24 Silverton 10:15 Outro
never been to Crested Butte, but I'm sure it's gotta be on the list. Skied A basin all this season, and I'm sure that's gotta be on the list too...the entire Beaver's area tree runs are single black on their map, but 80% of it would be double black at another area
Another awesome video! Also, what run is the steepest cut run in North America? I always assumed it was Ranbo, but it would be interesting to learn what actually is the the steepest one.
It's really hard to say, depending on a bunch of different things. It depends on the measure (average pitch or steepest pitch), what you consider "cut" and a bunch of other metrics. Rambo became famous because one by one, all of the skiing publications started calling absolutes and claiming Rambo to be steepest. Here's an article that explores it: www.skibum.net/do-it-up/comparing-steepness-of-ski-trails/
Oops, forgot that in the edit. I removed that part of the video so nobody else gets disappointed, but here's some links to articles with the signs: unofficialnetworks.com/2023/03/21/funny-rambo-ski-trail-sign/ unofficialnetworks.com/2023/04/01/steepest-ski-run-trail-sign/
Agreed with @ShanReiGarrett! I spent a fair amount of time there last season (my second full season) and the nice part about it is it's a good area to practice harder stuff. Getting used to some tighter chutes, rocks, etc. in a relatively low consequence area.
Because I want everyone else to have an equally good experience. These aren't all necessarily my personal favorites either, but more of what I think will be the favorites of the crowds
I didn’t see this video until now but thank you so much, this was a fantastic series!

Well done!!
Great video! Just wondering, how difficult is Land of the Giants?
Honestly not super difficult at all

pretty easy...but it depends on the line you choose. Plenty of rock drops to be found, or you can easily avoid them all
super videooo j'adore
Merci!
no hate but why make this video showing your favorite spots to the internet?
Because I want everyone else to have an equally good experience. These aren't all necessarily my personal favorites either, but more of what I think will be the favorites of the crowds
