This actually reminds me of a book entitled, "Field Notes on Love".
The male protagonist was supposed to go on a trip with his girlfriend but they broke up before that, and the tickets for his ex-girlfriend was non-refundable so he resorted to finding a stranger who has the same name as his ex-GF, and that's how he met the female protagonist whom he fell in love whilst traveling.

I truly found UA-cam only a few weeks ago, by that i meant the community and started following creators, whats amazing in this platform the content feels much more authentic then and scripted TV or movie, latley I even stopped watching TV because the content here can be sooooo much better
Goes to show how good this kid is as a creator. Great editing, sure it's a little cliché, but he nailed the "runaway and leave your cares behind" vibe that's found in movies.

I'll soon be taking a trip to England with a couple friends I convinced to go with me. And I've never been outside the US. I hope to go to Paris or Italy next.
@@gaijindando6726 you clearly have a different type of definition for adventure. having an adventure could simply be going to the next city over for some people. these two young adults just dropped everything to meet someone they didn't know and take at least a week long trip going to various different places. they didn't just "not do anything." they did a ton of stuff, just maybe something you couldn't see yourself doing. plus, not everyone is fortunate enough to have money to go somewhere extravagant like the philippines.

Man, this was amazing to watch! I was thinking about this too, wanting to travel "around the world" and doing a roadtrip, thinking to do it alone like I did once for a festival already, but it would be awesome to get to know someone and share the experience. But the thing is that you don't know the stranger, obviously, and besides the possiblity of having a lot of fun it could be that I'm not getting along with that person. At least I guess people that are down to do this would be rather open-minded and curious, so that's a good foundation already.

I’ve done this! We drove 8 hours to a music festival together and it was all friendly nothing creepy.. we had such a good time and at points in the festival we wandered our own ways and then eventually met up to leave and go home. One of the best experiences ever.
