This is so good, I literally envisioned whenever we do get a pyramid theme raid. The final boss should be this song, it's so good, like you really have talent keep it up, hopefully Bungie sees this and hires you or pays you some type of royalty to have this in game. It's a banger, and also good to see, right now the darkness in game is been indirectly persuasive, enlightening, wating and corrupting and their themes in the patrol destinations show that. But this shows the time when they reveal their true strength and show their might, there was a collapse in the first place because of them

@Logan Swain The Traveler was a confirmed coward until Earth, when it finally made a stand. However, I think the only reason it stopped here was because it had been cornered, and had no choice.

If the classic Darkness theme evokes the sense of a looming threat, a distant enemy that we would be lucky to survive, much less defeat, then this theme is that threat made manifest - the Deep sings of our destruction, and the Black Fleet has unleashed its full power to bring about the Final Shape.

When I hear this, for some reason I imagine this playing in a "bad" ending of destiny where you actually lead the invasion of the last city in ur own pyramid ship
1:54 I imagine a bunch of sences were the darkness is telling us how much we will lose by siding with the light and everything and everyone we care for dies.
That would require actual creativity and writing though, and Bungie doesn't do that sort of thing.

Robert TheRonin you’d be surprised. Bungie may fail at many things but the music score is definitely not one of them. The soundtrack is always fire in this game.

There isn’t a “darkness” race. The Pyramid ARE the Darkness, they are what the Winnower sent into reality. In the same way the Traveler is the light. There isn’t a race that live inside the Traveler lol

@@ashtongreen5494 This is an original theme for the Darkness. But it was remixed by the owner of this channel with more sounds in it as well.
@ImMattika they did it in wraith of the machine. someone remixed he sepix theme and they added that one into the siva version of devils lair strike.

I really love this it’s fits pyramids so well
Here’s why:
I really like the whirry notes which prevailed through most of the piece coming stronger later on which reminds me of the gambit music
I also really like the tension and fast notes about halfway through as it’s building up to something
The oppressive dark tone along with the drums and that whirring sound really shows how powerful this darkness is and it almost sounds maniacal showing how powerful and chaotic the darkness is. Yet at times it’s very calm and it’s portrays the darkness really well.

Now, I hope that at the end of all this, when the Guardians inevitably bring the Light back, we get a new edition of the original Traveler's theme, more of that amazing Music of the Spheres sound. Because there's no way we'll let the Darkness win.

March of the Veil is not the song of the Darkness itself. It is still beyond light themed with the involvement of the Darkness's melody.

One thing I thought about chills me but seems pretty cool as something to occur Beyond Light or Lightfall:
What if as a way to convert or to shake up our guardian, the darkness had us fight fallen Guardians, leading all the way up to Cayde as a sort of finale. Similar to how the darkness made nightmares of the enemies we have fought and killed.
(Edit: Secondary thought, to add insult to injury, you have to "kill" their Ghosts to end that encounter.
i think we can all agree an extended/loop version is in order. this is just too good

a theory, what if on lightfall we are forced to either fight or abandon the city / the system and this music in the background.

1:54 ; Pyramids open fire upon the city fleet, and the city itself , defenses are overwhelmed and the darkness advances casualties are high
2:27 ; the battle ends., the darkness has taken the city (maybe taken the traveler hostage or he escapes) . we survived the assault on the pyramids and then we see thousands of ships fleeing the city and the system, we look back to see the city burning. And we are forces to leave the system.

scenario 2 is mostly bases on a grimoir card that takes place on the vault of glass in which a ghost see a probable future in which he sees thousands of battle-scarred ships, a city fleet, in undefined space and jumping into warp leaving some ships behind cause they are inoperable .
I like your creativity, I hope that Bungie is going to kill it with Lightfall. And if not I know for sure that the soundtracks for that expansion are going to be perfect

Well thats gonna be like, guaranteed riot then, since the doritos specifically aren't destroying those locations, they're simply being vaulted to make the game smaller. We might see them again in the future

There are probably more fleets of darkness ships out there besides the one at our solar system. Be warned. Salvation isn't the end, it's the beginning.

Your at the tower a wave of fear washes over you you have a sensation that something dark is coming you look out to the last city the sky gets dark you look far out into the mountains you see objects getting closer the sun gets dark you look up to see what only can be described as dark and you come to realize they are here

This is incredible. As someone else said, this sounds like something actually produced at Bungie’s studios for Beyond Light. There’s so many great elements in this that I can’t even begin to list them all. Just good job honestly. I can’t say that enough.

Someone did a Sepiks Prime cover and Bungie used it for Sepiks Perfected in Rise of Iron. Bungie please notice this and do the same! :)
If there is a raid in the Witch Queen then this should be the final encounter theme
When they use this entire theme for final shape and the raid I’m gonna buss
As remixes go this is one of the best going. There are not many versions of this theme and to be honest this is worthy of being used by Bungie, if you were to give them permission to do so that is. It would certainly not be the first time they used a fan made remix in the game either as they used the Bulb Remix of the Sepik's Prime theme for the boss fight in the Sepik's Perfected strike.
Fun fact for D2 Darkness fans:
The darkness is actually significantly stronger than the light. If you want to hear my reasoning, look below.
The original Thorn is the weapon that has housed the most darkness known to date. We can easily tell because, in its mere presence, our guardian feels nauseated and off-put. Upon picking it up, it whispers to us and immediately begins to corrupt our mind. Our ghost, isn’t effected so badly in comparison.
However, when a Ghost, a fragment of the Traveller and a being made of pure light, goes in close-proximity of a Darkness pyramid, it instantly gets corrupted and is taken over.
Also, the pyramid that gave us stasis did it under its own will. It’s full intention was to gift us stasis. It never resisted nor fought back and we just yoinked it willingly.
If it wasn’t purposely giving us stasis, our guardians could probably be dead by now, or even worse.
I’d say there’s probably more proof on how much stronger the darkness is compared to the light via what savathun worm told us at the end of the mission:
Basically it implies that Savathun is “a” reason why humanity survived via tricking the witness and the black fleet to leave Sol. So the traveler alone was not the only reason why the darkness deceived to leave, probably indicating that it would’ve died if savathun didn’t step in and trick them to leave. Assuming that another possibility isn’t true, that possibility being that the darkness did retreated by the travelers power alone and that it would have came back if it wasn’t for savathun tricking them to leave
I got chills man this is awesome I love the intensity and the way it stays true to the original’s ominous themes!
I love all the elements I can hear in this, not just the Darkness theme, but Whisper of the Worm music and the tonal clicking from Shadowkeep. This deserves a spot in the game, but that spot is in a secret mission, or as Lightfall's menu music.
Oh my god this is making me envision what the lightfall ending would be.
