I watched this yesterday and decided this was too beautifully detailed that I wouldn't be able to do it. Today I did it and, thanks to your WONDERFUL instructions, I am VERY pleased with my results. So very relaxing to watch you painting these lovely fuchsia flowers. I needed that today as we face the oncoming Hurricane Ian. The forecast track now has it miles south of our beach so fairly confident we’re not going to get too much on Indian Rocks Beach. At least I hope not. Blessings to you Harriet and thanks so much!

Love this ! Adding the shadow mix at the end to me is the scariest part. It looks as if it will ruin all you work, but it’s magic and just adds the depth to the painting to make it look even more realistic. Your a great teacher

I tried to make this card size. My stem and leaves are a bit big. Maybe a should sketch the flowers first. Amd then the stem and leaves.
Yes have a think about how much room the flowers will take up.

I am defenitly going to paint this for my mom... they are her favourite flowers. As a child I remember we had loads of pots with these ones on the terrace... she used to multiply them all by herself and she was sooo proud of them! Thanks so much to your mother in law!!
And btw, we don´t mind the barking of your doggies on the background... it´s cute!

This is so lovely! One of my favorites to grow each year, you have now shown how to paint it. The layering and shading are so important and in each tutorial you create a map that I can follow. I'm hopeful that sometime soon it will become easier to find my own way. in the meantime, thank you for sharing your excellent teaching skills and seemingly endless talent.
