Note: I made a mistake when recording the VO about the Welch Spring. I mentioned that the Welch brothers joined the army in WWII but it was in fact WWI. "The brothers joined the Army and stayed until the war was over in 1918 and then returned to their farm." Sorry about the mix-up.
The quality of this video is great! I grew up in the ozarks, about 10 mins from eureka springs. We have a lot of haints and cryptids but we tend to be less forthcoming about our local lore and legends. There’s always something spooky in the ozarks.
This episode was awesome, and it was a bit of a coincidence because I was searching about the Crescent Hotel earlier today after finding the shirt on Rock City! I want to say you have one of the best Overlanding channels on UA-cam! Definitely enjoy this kind of content as well! The spooky stories of days gone by are truly fascinating! Plus you remind me of my brother. Stay safe and keep making great videos 😊
This was just another…. AWESOME VIDEO buddy! Loved every bit of it. It’s one I’ll be revisiting with family and friends here this month for sure!! 👏🏼👏🏼 Awesome production. Felt like I was watching a Netflix series! 💯
@BakerOverland we have shared your channel. Arkansas is one of our favorite places to explore. My folks purchased a home in the Hot Springs NF area some 20+ years ago. We have explored with our children years ago, hits the waters and beautiful lakes in boats, as empty nesters we hit the roads and mountains on motorcycles, and our latest adventures in the past few years we are exploring offroad and camping. It was pretty cool to have a background provided by you on some of our journey locations from this past year down there. Look forward to hearing more and discovering new destinations!
You did quite the traveling for this video. The Welch Spring is very close to my hometown. Such a nice area to enjoy the outdoors. Not much else around though. I loved it. Now I live 1.5-2 hours from Eureka Springs and ride my motorcycle there pretty often. Have yet to stay in the hotel though. I’m super interested in the “haunted” stuff, but I don’t believe in ghosts.
@@BakerOverlandoh yea!! I went there at night one time as well. Was pretty creepy. I should have my Halloween video up tonight. A pretty cool place in newton county you should check out.
