Shamsheera.... No need to use this much amount of yeast... Its not gud for health.. Also will over ferment... If u add cooked rice half the amount of white rice, jst need only a pinch of yeast... Not more... Add fresh coconut, its taste better than desiccated one... If u use fresh coconut, no need to use sugar.... If u prepare batter like this, no need to use even a spatula to remove appam from iron pan, we can take it by our hand... It will remove by itself... That much perfect it will be.... I am preparing always like this... This is my mother's recipe... Do try this once...
@amrutha prajith... Dear.. I'm not using yeast always.. In winter season i used to use a pinch of yeast... Otherwise i am using coconut water, which is collected and kept in bottles in refrigerator.. But still i didnt try coconut milk... I will try once... Thanks dear for ur new tip....
