Road Trip! Nashville to Orlando for our Universal vacation! Trying gator at Suwannee Belle Landing

It's time for a road trip! We drove from Nashville to Orlando, with a couple stops on the way. We stayed one night at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, then visited Michael's parents and had lunch on the Suwannee River! The seafood restaurant there, called Suwannee Belle Landing, was delicious and had such an authentic Florida vibe! Very unique. We finally made it to Orlando, where we were staying for 2 nights before checking into our first Universal hotel. Another surprise for the kids tomorrow! Stay tuned to find out what it's going to be!

Atlanta traffic, especially on both the Downtown Connector and I-285, can be an absolute nightmare at times.

Yes! I used to live there. I used to always have my friends pick me up to go out because I hated driving from point A to point B there! Lol ~ Ashley

What Fairfield did you stay at? We’re about to leave Nashville and head to Orlando for vacation. Stopping in between is smart!

We stayed in Locust Grove, GA! We always stop for a night if possible. We just like to get through Atlanta first, since that’s usually the worst part. Enjoy your trip!
