Israel's performances in those wars are nothing short of remarkable.. You and your people can be very proud of what you!ve created from 1948 onwards. Most interesting here, and a point hardly, if ever, brought into relief is Dayan's broad philosophical outlook. He is a much fuller figure than the 'bloodthirsty general' history would like to paint him as. How refreshing, in light of recent events, to hear such a reasoned and friendly attitude to the Arab peoples, and even a frank acknowledgement that Palestine was (shock) Palestinian before the massive European/Russian exous to 'inhabit (being generous) that land. Good stuff.

Surprised. I have always been informed about this never ending conflict but now I had a chance to listen to Moshe Dayan, I am indeed surprised. I like him. He is intelligent, and quite clear about what he thinks and he is convincing that his position is correct. He is as someone put it here, a very interesting man. I do agree with that.

    Utterly bizarre questions.
Strange fascination with the eye patch... Also rather rude.
And Dayan was slightly thrown by the clumsy use of the word "orthodox" regarding his practising of the faith. He was composed and spoke well (not in his first language, although in one known from childhood).
With hindsight now happily installed, a most illuminating interview.

he does put forward a convincing point of view, and has proven to be exactly how it turned out to be. the arabs need to behave and thats that. over the course of history, arab leaders seem to excel at being fucking jerks, they are really good at being unreasonable.

From Syria, Iran, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Afghanistan
It’s like they just stand in line to have either Israel or the USA kick the sheet out their Arse
