Those are important points, but they miss a crucial question: Why is it that when countries like Russia, Turkey, or various Arab nations annex territory during what they claim are civil or defensive wars, their actions are often accepted or go unchallenged? Yet, Israel is expected to return any territorial gains, even though the land in question is the historic homeland of the Jewish people. Consider this: if Jordan, Egypt, and the Arab League had succeeded in their military efforts, Jews would have been expelled, likely never allowed to return to their homeland or access their holy sites. In contrast, when Palestinians left during the conflict-triggered by their leaders' attempt to ethnically cleanse Jews from the Middle East-Israel did not forcibly deport them. They left due to the war initiated by their own leaders. The evidence of this is stark: nearly one million Jews who once lived in Arab League nations are now almost entirely gone. Meanwhile, nearly two million Arabs live as citizens in Israel today. This contrast raises serious questions about the double standards applied to Israel compared to other nations in similar situations.

That was a different era. The Saudis and Egyptians strongly support Israel against Hamas. The Egyptians support them because Hamas is the same thing as the Muslim Brotherhood which is and has been a big problem for Egypt. I suggest at a minimum both Saudi Arabia & Egypt support the Palestinians. Iran strongly supports Hezbollah which are primarily active in Lebanon. It’s all sickening geopolitics.
@@MrDastardly sure that's why Egypt shut down their border and the Saudis attacked USA on 911 got it
Sickening as in Sudeten land Lithuania, and Serbia, however you only hear about Taiwan not about kashmir
No they don't. Matter of fact, Egypt built a wall to keep them out. And hamas absolutely hates the Saudi ruling family. I think you're confusing them with Qatar.
That was a different era. The Saudis and Egyptians strongly support Israel against Hamas. The Saudis support them because of the oncoming Abraham accords and the opportunities to make a lot more money dealing with oil with Israel and America. The Egyptians support them because Hamas is the same thing as the Muslim Brotherhood which is and has been a big problem for Egypt. The people might act differently, but make no mistake the governments of those countries want Israel to finish the job. Iran on the other hand is the other way around, before the Islamic Regime, they had a great relationship with Israel, The Iranian people love and support Israel and their government/regime is hellbent on destroying it. We hear about iran because they heavily fund Hamas and 100% fund Hezbollah which is a much more serious threat than Iran. As unbelievably of a person that Moshe Dayan was, the things he's saying here are in regards to a totally different era and many, many wars have transpired since then that has totally changed the geopolitics of the region.

Before the 1973 war, he was arrogantly claiming that he occupied Sinai, then after the war he emerged defeated, despicable, and humiliated.
Actually israel was victorious and Egypt and their allied forces did lost that war at hands of Israel but due to bad diplomatic decisions they gifted that land back . They did the same mistake what whole world is doing right now and that is beliving in pislamists and their pislam .
@@shivamji1234 I know that you are talking about the Defersoir breach, but it is considered one of more than 50 battles that took place during the war. But at the end of the war, with the signing of the disengagement agreement, Israel withdrew from the West Bank of the Canal. Egypt regained a strip with a range of 15 km from Sinai, and Israel did not achieve any strategic gain. Therefore, saying “Israel won” is compound ignorance.
@@meno3d209 you are absolutely correct .. following is a paragraph from the Jewish virtual library:
“Before the Yamit plan could advance, however, Egyptian President Anwar Sadat launched a surprise attack against Israel. On Yom Kippur, October 6, 1973, Egyptian armies crossed the Suez Canal, moved anti-aircraft missiles into the canal area, and waged war on Israel. Israeli losses were high, and Israel had too short a supply of equipment to conduct a prolonged war”
Israel was far from victorious in that war!
@@meno3d209 No, he's right Israel won. Here is a question for you? Where was the Israeli army at the end of the war?

I believe it was the '73 war, in which Dayan lost his political juice. He was a major voice downplaying an Egyptian/Arab attack, and was notably indecisive during the conflict. Still - the great Moshe Dayan has to be on the Mt Rushmore of GOAT IDF Commanders.
what was his problem
Laser beam eyeball gadget
Some kind of bandit, like all these leaders of the occupiers

Only few years before this very Friendly interview
30 some American sealers were killed by men like him using American weapons
On the top of American ship called liberty
And Israel never paid price for that and will never do so
friendly fire happens in times of war. Deal with it. Anyway, that ship shouldnt have been anywhere near the coast at the point in time - maybe aportion some of the blame to whoever put it there?
That ship screamed for aid from nearby American air force
But Israel blocked the signal till they were done killing the American soldiers
American population are prisoner's to campaign money
And that was spy ship not involved in any of war actions in that time
Israel killed many other Americans unjustifiably just like Rachel Corrie.
