This manager apparently fought to get her a job in spite of her felony record, put his own job on the line by covering for her when money went missing, and she has the audacity to accuse him of "treating her unfairly" when she's actively been robbing the franchise for three years. Unbelievable. What gratitude.

I remember i worked at a quiznos and the owner found out a crew member was stealing cash.. that member was only there for 2-3 weeks and she found out that quick, confronted him, handed him his final check with the deducted amount and fired him.
And that was back when we had to calculated everything manually..These subways registers are advanced now, they do the bookeeping for you. These people had cash missing for six months and coulsnt connect the dots that, when this certain person works we usually are missing cash.. yikes

No, you're just showing how little you understand about cop work. The cop doesn't want the manager talking for obvious reasons. What the cop is specifically interested here is the woman's confession, all of which is usable in court because he read her miranda rights. He's getting her to incriminate herself, in her own words. This is very useful in court _in addition_ to the video/etc evidence, it all helps make it an open-and-shut case that gets prosecuted quicker, and saves the court listening to her whining pitying bullshit and her managing to sow doubt. This "if you just want to explain to me what happened" is entirely her digging her own hole and she can't deny it later. The cops write it all down and use it against you. Nothing this woman could possibly say at this point would help her - she's definitely going to jail, she's definitely getting prosecuted - all she's doing with her sniveling is sealing her fate. Hence, never, ever talk to the cops. Good job, cop.

I knew someone had to be thinking what I’m thinking. He needs to arrest her and get her out of there, why is he conducting an interrogation? I’m confused. Police arrest, then detectives, interrogators, they build the case with the DA. Am I right or wrong? The way this cop is carrying this out is prolonging it in front of the poor guy she victimized. Something doesn’t feel right about it.

He’s more sympathetic to the criminal than he is to the victim. Is it the victims race?

Wow, this is disgusting. It seemed as if the manager really cared and helped her! Meanwhile she’s stealing right under his nose then blames HIM for treating her ‘unfairly.’ You deserve whatever you get. Maybe prison will give you some time to reflect and clean yourself up.

Yes. Only a caring manager would hire a felon and not fire someone who robbed from the shop he is the manager of. He literally risked his entire job and possibly arrest just for this worthless woman.

So sad so many of us would die for a caring manager like that
