Oh, and about this Djent thing... I‘m a 42 year old fart that grew up listening to Thrash, Death & Black Metal and still likes straightforward 4/4 powerchord riffing and scooped sounds - pretty much everything that the stereotypical Djent fan avoids like the plague ;-) I still don‘t like or understand the style, but I really appreciate the fact that there is a young generation of guitar players that is passionate about heavy music and keeps it innovative, fresh and relevant.
Haha. Finland has a pretty strong traditions in Thrash- melodic- death- and blackmetal, and lately growing in Stoner-doom.. and Djent has pretty much been labelled as "bounce-metal" with 17-string apparatuses, that it's success in US is kinda surprising. A Finnish djent-outfit would by and large be treated like finnish hiphop-scene, or a christian BM-band. Quad Cortex seemed to be wiping the floor with other modellers, and yes, those Omega-amps sound pretty awesome!.
I received an email about ML Loyalty Gift. I have almost every cab pack (Mega Oversize, Mega Traditional, ORNG, Freeman, Bgnr Uber, VX30, Mars PR-M75, and the XMas), so I honestly don't know which ones to choose. Might you help me? Regards
@@luisfgd100 You're pretty well covered but I highly recommend the regular Boaner pack - it's like the Uber but hand picked speakers from my collection.. it's actually closer to the Freeman believe it or not. Then the Zila! It's incredible with darker amps. :) Also you could take a look at the amp packs as well.
Hey Mikko! The FM3 finally seems to be released in the next couple of days. I guess it will take a couple more weeks or realistically months to get my hands on one but I'd like to know if I will be able to use your ML Amp Packs with the FM3? Can the AX3 presets be converted? Or will you release an updated version to support the FM3?
Hey - I hope the presets are convertable as I doubt I'll get an FM3. We'll see once the firmware is out, you'd think it's made to work hand in hand with the Axe-Fx III but you never know.
Was great to finally meet you dude! \m/
You too buddy! :)
It was great meeting at NAMM man! I think you are totally right about Djent!
Yup! We need to talk about secrets! ;)
@@mlsoundlab Yes! We do :)
The Omega Obsidian was hands down the best amp at NAMM. The people at REVV are amazing! And yes... you are very tall!
That's a hat trick of truths! PS. Fluff was about my size as well which was equally surprising.

It's definitely a next-gen thing. Being a virtuoso style player and all that but the original ones stand out.
what is the background music? is it using the mikko bogner?

Any stoner doom bands to recommend?
Finns: Demonic Death Judge, Monsternaut (enter the storm) and Kaiser. Others: Howling Giant (blackholespacewizard), Grajo, Dopelord, , Dopethrone, Red Fang, ...too many.. Haha.
Channel StonedMeadowOfDoom is exquisite.
Hey! Was just wondering: are the IRs in the cab packs the same as the ones inside the Quad Cortex?
Nope they're a different thing.

Hmm that's a head scratcher. Do you own a modeler?

@@mlsoundlab The new version of FracTool already seems to be able to convert AXIII presets to the FM3 format.
I really don’t understand the obsession with Djent. Everything about it irritates me...
