+Kingston RC thank you for the kind comment. I really enjoy being in the comp playing and filming. It’s hard to do both though. As I spend more time on video, my comp performance suffers. But it’s still a hell of fun
I appreciate that. I did notice the complicated rule of comp was deterring a lot of people from coming into the sport. My ultimate goal is to show people how easy and fun comp really is.
CRAWLER75 that may be challenging because of how every venue is different. There is so many different classes to choose from winch is the beauty of it!!
I'm sorry, but by the look of the course here, there is no reason everyone shouldn't be scoring -20... almost all the gates are like 24" wide and unless the camera takes away from the actual difficulty, you could almost speed drive thru all the gates/obstacles. I guess I'm just used to super difficult gate placements and we're lucky if they're actually 12" apart...lol.
Not trying to be negative or bash anyone involved...I thinks it's great to see this event taking place and to everyone that participated. Just trying to keep it real that if anyone involved (drivers and course builders) ever wants to compete at Nationals level, they're gonna need to step up their game...cuz those guys keep it real when it comes to scale comping...lots of high-level competitive drivers and super technical gates and courses. I think I pretty much dnf'd all but a few of the courses I drove at Scale Nats this last year...learned a lot. Ok, to end on a positive note, there were some nice looking rigs in this video...keep pushing yourself as a driver and keep having fun doing it!
No reason to be sorry! I agree with you on this one. The gates were too wide and easy for my liking also. Especially if you’ve competed at the nationals, you could just fly through the most of the gates. I think this particular event was setup easier because a lot of complaints from previous round for being too difficult. Also there were a lot of new drivers starting out so I think club chief wanted to take it little easy that day. Class 1 was actually even easier. I think the most of the guys finished in less than a minute- I left the video out because of it was a race not a comp! Lol. Only the saving grace was class 3 which I thought it was pretty technical.
15:20 axial honcho, that was super fun to watch! I'm glad to watch until the end of the video

Right on. I’ve been to a few local comps in different states and I loved their own flavor to the rules. It is extremely fun to be different.
Great job. Love the course. Subbed.
