Being an American, the first motorsport I watched was obviously Nascar. That did open the door to see other motorsports around the world. You get to see how.they are different, so you can appreciate the excitement in the voices in the announcing when they talk about it. We aren't F1, we aren't prototypes, we still adjust the car mechanically...... however, we're recognized now.

Not really, actually. In terms of top speed it was only slightly faster than the GTEs, and significantly slower than the top Hypercars because of all the additional aero. Where it did have an advantage was the low speed sections, thanks to a combination of incredible mechanical grip and a torque curve that makes Bonneville look like a mountain range.

Not really, actually. In terms of top speed it was only slightly faster than the GTEs, and significantly slower than the top Hypercars because of all the additional aero. Where it did have an advantage was the low speed sections, thanks to a combination of incredible mechanical grip and a torque curve that makes Bonneville look like a mountain range.
