Must feel fantastic to finally have the build over and able to get to enjoy the house and the next stage of set up & landscaping. Enjoy your few days away break - cheers
Thanks RTT, It's been a good project overall. But, one project leads to another, set-up. We are mostly settled into the house, landscaping and yard will come after our trip. However, Sompit picked up a few plants already. You will see them in tomorrow's video. Thanks for watching.
Mate looking good. Congratulations on the build completion. As for your holidays going forward, other than maybe hotel bookings, timing and schedules are a thing of the past for you now. We don't worry about booking anything ahead of time, there's always somewhere to stay. 😀🎉
Well congratulations to both of you. Must be happy that you have now reached this point. Life never stops , but now can slow down a little. Once again congratulations 🎉
Congratulations Kenny and Sompit!! Your house looks beautiful!! You guys have worked hard up to this point. I hope you have a really nice, relaxing time in Pattaya! You guys deserve it!!
Looks absolutely amazing you two of yous must be really proud, and thanks again for all your time you gave me on the emails I sent you very useful information and tips 🙏
Sompit is worried about living out here all alone....later on. Me: It is amazingly quiet after about 8pm. Frogs, crickets and a few birds under the stars and the moon!
Great work getting that far. Funny thing with the foreigners pink Thai id card is that your name on it is written in Thai (on mine anyway), yet my wife's full Thai id card has her name written in English.....go figure.😂
Congratulations on your beautiful home. Have you considered having a battery back up for the home like a powerwall? Or is the generator going to automatically come on when the power cuts out? Also what are your internet options being that far out away from the village?
Generator will not be automatic, as we did not run the aux wires for it,....unless there is some other method that I am not aware. Have not considered a battery pack. Really wanted to spend some time in the house first to determine how much we will be in need, then decide how much I should spend on back-up systems. We have a Sim card router that works on cellular service. Waiting for Elon to work his magic in BKK.
I find your videos very interesting thank you. Just wondering if you have thought about a small cold swimming pool with cover behind pump house? then you and Somput can have a cool relax from the heat.
Kenny, did your gfci breaker problem go away after fixing the loose connection at the pole ? Some tips on loose connections. You can sometimes hear some arcing and even smell ozone produced by it when a loose connection is put under load. It will also get hot and an infrared thermometer can help find it. Poking around with something non conductive can be very helpful for finding a loose wire. The voltage change under load is always the first clue as you found out. I have seen this on everything from circuit breakers to bad solder connections on circuit boards, ac or dc, any voltage. Cheers, Chris & Nim in Austin
As you know, I am not an experienced electrician, so it took me a bit to trouble shoot and find that problem. Now I am more educated from that experience and will have a better idea where to start looking next time. I have had no GFI trips for quite some time. Since my little anomaly, I have loaded 3 A/Cs, fridge, both well pumps and a couple ceiling fans all at the same time and no issues. I'm feeling better about it now. May still have issues when welding, but I will deal with that. Out of precaution, I will shut off the power to the pump house when we travel, just in case. Thanks
Fricken Awesome, nice to see you got the electrical figured out. Probably gettin' way ahead of you, yet curious as to what type of grass do ya think you'll be using?
Hey Tim, I have the Zoysia seeds bought and planted around the concrete parking area, and will plant the rest as soon as the trees are in, after our trip. Do you have a recommendation for grass type in Thailand?
@@ParadiseNThailand Really know nothing about what grows best in Thailand, was just really curious as here in the upper midwest USA, a mixture of mostly Kentucky Bluegrass works the best.I laid sod for 5years, many moons ago. Manilagrass A native Thai species that can thrive in high-traffic areas, tolerate extended sun exposure, and requires minimal maintenance. @@user-yv9wd7nc3x Never considered that, but Sompit is worried about the maintenance of everything after I go. Told her to hire someone to come through once a month and cut, trim, bury and burn.
I haven't looked but pretty sure it will be significantly less than that. As I mentioned, I will do a "What did it Cost" Video after our trip. I will break it down into various parts of the development and then a total. I will convert it to a couple different currencies. Should see that in about two weeks. Thanks DB
Do those bird spikes have a 3rd inner row? It was hard to see from the video but it looks like maybe not. The ones I got had an inner row (you needed to assemble yourself) which were good enough for pigeons but maybe those smaller birds could slip in between still. They ought to have different sizes for the variety of birds I would think too.

Fantastic! Really love the color scheme … great job KENNEY….Congrats to you and Sompit..! Good fortune to you both….😊
Thanks RJ! We are traveling now. Will try to meet up some time.
If those birds are sparrows or swiftlets, you could always make soup with the nest, lol. House looks great. Great color scheme.
Sparrows, and I would rather make soup with the culprits! Thanks NBG!

THERE SMALL COCONUT TREES THAT PRODUCE REGULAR COCONUTS
