ANTONOV AN22 crossing the MOTORWAY - The biggest Propeller Plane worldwide - DEPARTURE + LANDING
Вставка
- Опубліковано 24 вер 2020
- The Antonov An22 is the biggest propeller plane in the world. Although I already filmed it in Oostende in 2017 I decided to drive to Leipzig to film it again. The opportunity to film it taxing above the motorway bridge was the main reason why I drove 450km to Leipzig Airport. The southern runway at LEJ was closed which is normally not the case and that` s why the Antonov 22 had to taxi to runway 09L. To get there the AN22 has to cross the motorway via a bridge which looks quite spectacular in my opinion.
The routing of the An-22 was Leipzig - Bremen - Leipzig - Baku. They flew an expensive camping van from Bremen to Baku. Due to the short runway at Bremen, the AN22 had to return to Leipzig for a fuel stop which was just perfect for me cause I was able to film this beautiful jet three times within 10 hours.
Thanks for watching, new videos every tuesday and friday. - Авто та транспорт
God bless Antonov for designing & building some of the most interesting & characterful aircraft that have ever taken to the skies... 👍🖖
I LOVE staring at An22's smile.
The engines sound buttery smooth..
I remember seeing this plane on TV as a kid. I remember being fascinated by the propellers and the loud screaming of the engines. 10 years later, it is still my favorite plane in the world. This plane deserves a special place in heaven. Keep flying ADB.
I have fantastic News! NATO is planning to keep this beauty for atleast further 5 years in Service. I Love this plane and I Wish i Had the opportunity to fly with it in real life. But this seems to be Impossible. Wish I could atleast See her more often. She flew to my hometown Leipzig last year, on 5th december 2020. May it live forever❤️
These propellers are mesmerising!
My favorite plane!
Imagine being in a truck and seeing a fat prop plane taxi on the overpass
that would be oddly weird..
you made my day
Excruciating to watch! You just know it’s too big to achieve lift, and then it gently does. Absolutely incredible.
Klasse Video und der Sound Der AN22 ist einfach nur Der Hammer ✈️✈️✈️✈️👍👍👍👍
Large & in charge. Amazing aircraft and it sounds good too. Outstanding video of another Antonov wonder. That aircraft is bigger than the town I once lived in.
Un coloso con más de 5 décadas en servicio!. Muy lindas imágenes!. Gracias por compartirlas!. FELICITACIONES!.👏👏👏👏👍
The lower nose windows make it look like it's grinning... and maybe even sticking it's tongue out, while it's at it! Awesome video!
Noticed that too lmao!
Even in Dresden, about 100 Km away from LEJ, our windows are shaking a bit when this beauty is landing in Leipzig.
Who came here after Sam Chui s video? 🤗🇸🇦

Love the noise the AN22 makes in the video. Wonder how people living close to the airport feel about that🤔
My house is shaking every time she is approaching the airport... And I love it!
Some of them just selling their properties
Increíble el sonido de esos motores, pura potencia!.
Engines at the beginning:
Me: Ha, weak
Engines when takeoff: *I haven’t showed you my full potential!*
2:12 Just look at the sound of his engines decreasing in frequency! 😍
Lets hope this beauty flies again 😍😍
Amazing video! The shot with the aircraft over the Autobahn is stunning! Well done!
Thank you for this great footage of this amazing, very special aircraft. I was gutted when he was damaged at Hostomel. I do hope Antonov will be able to restore him. 🛩 💙💛 🛩
They restored her, but I'm not sure whether it's just for a museum or actual service.
WOW ! So pleased you got to witnees this beauty and thanks for sharing your wonderful footage. Well done! Hello from London : - )
such a happy looking plane.
What a beautiful noise.
What a sound!

Thank you for uploading that awesome footage! Good point of view
Just awesome video! Vielen Dank !!
Muy buen vídeo gracias
Awesome video!!!
Класс! Годы выпуска 1966-1976. Выглядит непревзойдённо!
very cool
Beautiful Sound ❤️🔊
NICE " BYE BYE " :)
Thanks cargospotter for bring us this amazing big guy. One interesting story is I found a video filmed by another UA-camr Sum Chui, who was just in the cockpit of this aircraft for the same trip, just after I watched this one.
Greatest plane in the world!
Awesome video mate... Another great shot... Keep up the great work 😃👍🏻
Antonov AN22 the big daddy of all aircraft!!
Great shots mate, finally you got you long desired shot :) Really enjoyed this one!
It’s like a 1956 Cadillac. Before the fins!!!!
Wonderful 😊. Great footage dude.
Very Cool👍👍👍
Very very monstrous
So wonderful video😉👍🏼👍🏼👌🏼🔥
That bridge is strong...
The Kuznetsov NK12 engine still maintain its prime power & still loud as ever.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Good job
0:58 Imagine how are the people in the car on the highway below "WOOOOOOOOOOOWWW, LOOK AT THE SIZE!!!!" Lol
WOW 😲 LOVED IT MAN ❤️ GREETINGS FROM SAUDI ARABIA 🤗🇸🇦

AMAZING EAR VIBRATING VIDEO
GREAT JOB
BTW U HAVE ALREADY MADE A VIDEO ABOUT THIS PLANE ACTUALLY
Nice battle cruiser of the sky
Legend from the engineers of the USSR.
Sooooo epic
Good planes cargo
АН-22
Он всегда прекрасен
Looks very much like a goose.
💚
Wow, that jet airliner, I'm guessing it's a 737, looks puny in comparison. That's when it really sinks in, the sheer size of her!!!
That's bigger then my country
Wish I could see the cockpit!!
Interesting note - the Kuznetsov NK12 turboprops powering this monster generate far less smoke than the Ivchenko AI-20s used on smaller Antonovs and the Ilyushin IL-18.
An 124 too!!!
Designers of the plane be like
We don’t know how many how many landing gears we have to put so just let’s put 3 in the back and 1 in the front
But anyways beautifully designed
With such small looking engines and narrow wing profile, the aircraft seems to defy the laws of physics to get off the ground!
Paul Fisher maybe you are used to see big American engines. That’s why you see this engine small
Have you never seen a Boeing 707 or Douglas DC-8 if those engines defy the laws of physics the ones on those two definitely do.

Sam Chui was on this flight. He uploaded a video about this airplane the same day you posted this.
Haha, yeah, I just saw it. What a coincidence :D. Now I know why the An22 was "Waving" with its wings after departure.
@@Cargospotter haha
I beleive Sam Chui is on that plane :)
It looks like it is about to stall on liftoff 😱
I wonder how much the max cruise speed of this thing would be
I think 600kmh
740 kmph
Planes fly at cruise speed. And for this type it's around 450 km/h
@@klausweber3262?
I guess you didn't saw this, but I wrote this above.:
(But the cruise speed can still be as you wrote. I don't know.)

Can they rebuild the Mriya?
imagine just driving along the highway when suddenly a massive doublepropped cargo plane crosses a bridge 💀
On February 24, 2022, Russian forces began an attempt to seize Gostomel Airport, with continued fighting in the days after. UR-09307 suffered damage when the left-hand fuselage and top fuselage were penetrated by projectiles.
AN-22 the biggest plane
And they made this on 1965...!!!

@@mypictureisisorrowproducti3710 Yes it is because its the colors yellow and blue represents the flag of Ukraine ^^
@@mypictureisisorrowproducti3710 learn history. Antonov's design bureau was founded in Novosibirsk and transferred to Ukraine only with the aim of increasing the industrial potential of the Ukrainian SOVIET socialist republic. Yes, and Antonov himself - Russian by nationality, was born near Moscow.
